DMCA / Copyright Policy
Last updated: August 17, 2026
1. Our Policy
NovelsFlow respects the intellectual property of authors, publishers, and other rights holders. We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512) and comparable notice-and-takedown laws.
We remove or disable access to material when we receive a valid notice, and we may terminate accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright. Filing a false notice or counter-notice may have legal consequences.
2. How to Send a Takedown Notice
Email a notice to dmca@novelflow.net with the subject line "DMCA Takedown Request". Your notice must include all of the following:
- Your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (title, author, and a URL or ISBN if available).
- The exact URL(s) on novelflow.net where the allegedly infringing material appears (book page and, if possible, chapter URLs).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Incomplete notices delay processing. We typically acknowledge valid notices within 2 business days and disable the listed URLs as soon as we can verify them.

4. Counter-Notice
If your material was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake or that you have the right to post it, you may send a counter-notice to the same address. A counter-notice must include:
- Your name, address, phone number, and email
- Identification of the material removed and the URL where it appeared
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if outside the United States, any judicial district in which NovelsFlow may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the original complainant
- Your physical or electronic signature
After a valid counter-notice, we may restore the material in 10–14 business days unless the copyright owner files a court action.
5. Repeat Infringers
We keep records of valid takedown notices. Users or upload sources that receive multiple uncontested notices may lose access to posting features, and related titles may be removed from the catalog.
6. Trademark and Other Claims
For trademark or other intellectual-property complaints that are not copyright claims, email contact@novelflow.net with the mark, the URLs at issue, and an explanation of the confusion or harm. We review these reports separately from DMCA notices.
