"Why are you guys so loud early in the morning?" Y/N asked as she walked into the dining room to have breakfast and it seems like her family members are arguing about something.

"Unnie, tell them that they can't do this!" Chaeyoung said.

"Do what?" Y/N is confused.

"Apparently mom and dad asked the Myoui and Minatozaki family to come over for dinner tonight." Tzuyu explained.

"What? Why?" Y/N raised her eyebrows after she sat down.

"We haven't invited anyone over in a long time. I don't get why these two are so against it." Mr. Chou shook his head.

"I think you forgot about Chaeyoung's pictures with Mina." Tzuyu guessed.

"Y/N already handled that. There's no need to be scared." Their mother answered.

"Even if I did handle it, it still won't be okay for the two to be at the same place. Besides they don't even know that Chaeyoung lives here." Y/N reminded them.

"They won't question why she's here. Even when Chaeyoung was a kid she hung out more at our place then she did at home." Y/N's father reminded.

"I don't get where this is suddenly coming from. It's been two years since anyone stepped inside of this house. Didn't we all agree to distance ourselves from people like them? Why are you suddenly trying to get close to them?" Y/N questioned.

"I might not be doing business anymore, but you still do. It's still my company and I want you to succeed. I'm not saying we should be best friends with them, I'm just saying we should try to be friendly with them like we were before."

"We don't need to be friendly with them. You got a burnout because of them!" Tzuyu interrupted.

"It wasn't because of them, Tzuyu-yah."

"It was because of those rich people. They're all the same, it doesn't matter who." Tzuyu added.

"It's okay, Tzuyu-yah. Fine invite them over then." Y/N gave in.

"W-what? Unnie, you can't be serious. You're really going to let them enter our house?" Chaeyoung asked.

"It's what mom and dad want. Let's just respect it. Besides those families won't leave us alone until we invite them over. They've been practically forcing us to invite them so maybe if we do it just once they'll stop bothering us." Y/N sighed.

Breaking news: ImTech's new redevelopment plan has been announced today. The Ray District that is located near the ImTech building will be redeveloped into a new shopping district. The value of the area has already increased, so have the stock prices of ImTech and it's investors. The most important investor is Chou Holdings, who invested around 5 billion won in this project.

"Do you see that Dahyun-ah?" Y/N is at her office right now and she's watching the news on the tv. The news about the project is out and the stock prices are already rising.

"Daebak, the apartments values have risen by 300%." Dahyun exclaimed.

"As expected." Y/N smiled.

"Is that why you helped her out?"

"You can say that." The CEO confirmed.

"Hmm, you wouldn't help out someone just for money. I'm sure there's something else, right?"

"You know me too well, Dahyun-ah." The assistant is the only one that can see that Y/N isn't just helping Nayeon for the money. Then again not a lot of people know that Y/N helped Nayeon. Only their assistants and Y/N's family knows.

"So what else will you gain from this? Besides a lot of money."

"Apparently Mr. Im wants to quit being a CEO in the next few years and let's just say that it would be in our favour for Im Nayeon to become the CEO." Y/N smiled.

"And why's that?" Dahyun doesn't really get why Y/N wants Nayeon to become the CEO.

"You'll find out soon, Dahyun-ah." The CEO patted her back but stopped when she heard some heavy knocking on the door. Dahyun and Y/N locked eyes and Dahyun decided to open the door.

"I'm sorry, I couldn't stop him from coming here." Y/N's secretary apologized.

"Sir, you can't just barge in like this." Dahyun glared at him.

"I need to talk to Chou Y/N."

"You can't. You don't have an appointment." Dahyun protested.

"It's okay Dahyun-ah. Let him in." She knows Jin won't be leaving and he'll probably cause a scene if she doesn't let him in.

"Okay, Ms. Chou. I'll be right here if you need me." Dahyun said and left the room.

"I guess you saw the news. Aren't you proud of your sister? Your stock prices are rising pretty well." Y/N smiled.

"What are your intentions, Chou Y/N?" Jin approached her angrily.

"Nothing. I'm just an investor. Chou Holdings is making money and so is ImTech. So what's the problem?"

"The problem is that you decided to invest last minute. I know you changed your mind because you heard my conversation with Nayeon. But let me warn you Y/N-ah. Nayeon will never become the CEO of ImTech. I will be the next CEO and I promise you, I will fucking destroy Chou Holdings when I become one." He said as he pushed Y/N's shoulders lightly.

"We'll see about that. Your sister is doing way better than you now, isn't she? Your chances are getting lower and lower" Y/N smirked making Jin even angrier.

"Just wait Chou Y/N. I'm going to destroy this company and you? You'll end up on the streets." Jin warned and left the office harshly while Y/N just laughed to herself. Y/N will make sure that he never becomes the CEO. It's her goal to make Im Nayeon the next CEO. She will help her until she succeeds.

"Oh Y/N-ah, you're finally here." Her mom smiled when Y/N walked into the dining hall and unfortunately her parents really did invite the Myoui and Minatozaki family.

"Ah finally the CEO of Chou Holdings is here." Mr. Minatozaki smiled.

"Hello." Y/N bowed as she smiled.

"You can sit next to your sister, Y/N." Her father suggested and Y/N did as she was told.

"Where's Chaeyoung?" Y/N whispered into Tzuyu's ear.

"I don't know." Tzuyu whispered back.

"So I heard the news today. You invested in ImTech's project?" Mr. Myoui asked.

"Ah yes I did."

"Y/N-ssi is a smart girl. Whatever she invests in becomes successful. No doubt it will be the same with this one." Mrs. Minatozaki said.

"Something caught my attention though. I found out that Mr. Im isn't the one who's in charge of this project." Sana informed.

"Oh really, who is it then? His son?" Her father asked.

"No, his daughter. Im Nayeon."

"What? I guess she really had a hard time convincing our Y/N here, huh?" Mrs. Myoui laughed.

"Chaeyoung-ah?" Y/N's dad noticed how Chaeyoung was suddenly there. Chaeyoung didn't know that they were already here. She thought they were coming later so she decided to grab her stuff and leave but unfortunately they're already here and they saw her.

"Oh, hello." The girl bowed. The Myoui and Minatozaki family don't look very happy with Chaeyoung's appearance. I mean they're all dressed fancily and then there's Chaeyoung who looks like a gang member with her leather jacket.

"Why is Chaeyoung here?" Sana asked. Y/N's parents, Tzuyu and Y/N all looked at each other thinking about what to answer.

"Chaeyoung's parents are on a business trip so Chaeyoung stays here whenever they're gone." Y/N saved the situation.

"Yeah, we don't want her to feel lonely." Mrs. Chou added.

"Chaeyoung-ah, join us for dinner." Mr. Chou suggested and unfortunately there was only place next to Mina, which Mina wasn't happy with at all. She hates people like Chaeyoung. People who think they can get anyone and everything they want.

"Sure."

"Excuse me, I have to take this call." Y/N said when her phone started ringing. She stood up and went to her room to answer the call.

"Yes, Nayeon-ssi?"

"Y/N-ssi, we have a problem." Nayeon said in worry.

"What's going on?"

"One of the families in the apartments started to protest. They don't want to move out." Nayeon explained.

"What? Didn't you buy all the apartments there already?"

"I did. I mean expect for one." Nayeon said the last sentence weakly. She should have known that at least one family was going to give her a hard time.

"Didn't I tell you to buy all of them?"

"Yes, and I swear I had an agreement with them, they were even happy to move out but they suddenly changed their minds." Y/N can already guess what's going on.

"Try to keep them quiet for now, it'll be bad if it gets released to the press. I'll go there tomorrow first thing in the morning and I'll handle it. What apartment is it?"

"Okay, thank you. It's apartment 27."

"Alright, i'll handle it, Nayeon-ssi." Y/N informed and with that the two hung up.

"I see you're very much involved in that project, huh?" Sana's voice was heard from the door.

"Why are you here?"

"I was looking for the bathroom, but heard you talking to Nayeon by accident." Sana said closing the door and approaching Y/N.

"I'm sure it wasn't an accident, Sana-ssi."

"Y/N-ah, you're so boring ever since you became the CEO. Don't you remember the fun times we had together?" Sana caressed Y/N's hair.

"That was back in college, Sana-ssi. Times have changed." Y/N pushed Sana's hand away.

"I really wonder what made you change your mind. You're full of mysteries Chou Y/N."

"We should go back downstairs." Y/N was about to leave but Sana held her arm.

"Why are you helping Im Nayeon?" Y/N was a bit taken aback by this question.

"You didn't expect for me to know, right?" Sana laughed.

"I'm not helping her, I'm just an investor."

"Oh c'mon, I know Nayeon. There's no way she could've done this by herself, it's obvious she got some help." Sana crossed her arms.

"Well, then she got it from someone else." Y/N shrugged it off. She can't waste her energy on Sana right now.

"Look I don't care what's going on between you and Nayeon. I just want to have some fun with you. Just like before." Sana approached Y/N once again.

"Look Sana-ssi. Like I said that's all in the past. Please don't do this, yeah? I know you don't like me.  I know you're just doing this because your family wants you to get close to me."

"H-how do you know?"

"Is there anything that I don't know? Ever since I became the CEO everyone has been trying to find something to destroy me. But no one can and no one will, Sana-ssi. So how about you tell your parents that the mission has failed?" Y/N suggested and left the room.

"Ah girls finally you're back. What took you so long?" Mr. Chou asked.

"Sana-ssi couldn't find the bathroom so I showed her the way." Y/N lied. The three families just continued to talk and Chaeyoung was getting very bored so why not mess with Mina a little bit? She slid her hand under the table and started to touch Mina's legs which made Mina very uncomfortable. She glared at Chaeyoung and if looks could kill then Chaeyoung was dead already.

Y/N noticed what was happing and she also glared at Chaeyoung sending her a warning sign which Chaeyoung immediately understood. She knows she's going to get scolded later on.

"Excuse me, can I go to the bathroom?" Mina asked.

"Of course go ahead." Mrs. Chou smiled.

"I'll show her the way." Chaeyoung also stood up.

"I can find it myself." Mina said harshly but Chaeyoung still followed her. Y/N is going to kill her later on.

"Mina-ssi, why are you so distant suddenly?" Chaeyoung followed the girl.

"Leave me alone."

"C'mon, I know you want me." Chaeyoung held her arm stopping her.

"Stop this, Chaeyoung. I don't want you, okay? That kiss was just to shut you up. I don't like you and I never will. In fact I hate you, so please just leave me alone!" Mina jerked her arm away and went to the bathroom.

"We'll see about that Myoui Mina." Chaeyoung smirked to herself. Luckily the dinner ended soon after.

"Never invite them again." Y/N said to her parents. "In fact don't invite anyone. They're all out to destroy us."

"You think we don't know that, Y/N? Of course we know." The father assured.

"They won't be able to destroy us, Y/N-ah. We're too strong as a family." Y/N's mother added.

"I hope you're right. And you, I'll speak to you later." Y/N looked at Chaeyoung. "I'm going out for a bit. I won't be late." She told Nayeon that she'll go to that apartment tomorrow but she decided to go now since it's not that late yet.

"Are you the owners of apartment 27?" Y/N asked to the ones that opened the door. It was a middle aged man and woman.

"Yes, we are."

"Could I speak to you? I'm Chou Y/N, one of the investors of ImTech's project." Y/N introduced herself. The couple was hesitant but they still let Y/N in. They know she's very powerful.

"So I heard you're protesting against moving out." Y/N sat down.

"Ah y-yes. We don't want to leave this place and the kids don't want it either." Y/N looked at the two kids and they look like they're 17/18 already. Why wouldn't they want to move out of this shithole?

"Listen, I know what's going on already. I know Im Seokjin paid you to do this." Y/N is quick witted. of course this is Jin's doing.

"How about we make a new deal? I'll give you double of what he paid you, I'll relocate you to a bigger house then what was promised and I'll also pay for your children's college tuitions. I'm guessing you two are almost going to college right?" Y/N asked the teenagers and they nodded.

"That's very generous of you Ms. Chou but we weren't paid to do this." The man didn't gave in.

"Look, I already know. You don't have to hide it from me. That Seokjin guy is full of empty promises, he won't give you whatever he promised. He's just using you and if you're scared, don't be. I will protect you from him." Y/N assured them. Y/N saw how the couple was hesitating. They looked at each other debating wether to accept the deal or not.

"Are you sure that he won't be able to hurt us?" The woman asked.

"Yes, I can give you a 100% guarantee. I'll give you time until this morning to think about it. Just remember that you'll be way better of in my hands than his." Y/N assured them.

"I'll come by again this morning hopefully you'll make the right choice." And with that Y/N left the apartment. She's 100% sure that they'll accept her offer.
