As the bell went signalling the class was over. Charlie swung her bag over her back heading for the exit when she was stopped by mrs cruz's voice 'Charlie stay behind' Charlie groaned as the threw her bag back down to the floor and sat back down on her seat at the front.
As the classroom cleared mrs Cruz got up from her desk and stood infront of Charlie. Charlie rolled her eyes the smirked. 'I don't tolerate people being late to my lessons, and I definetly don't tolerate people turning up to them high as a kite' Charlie just shrugged and laughed. Mrs Cruz rose an eyebrow as she knew Charlie was going to be a tough one. 'I suggest you pay attention in my classes Charlie. I've seen your school records and you are really close to being expelled from this school' Charlie got up from her seat and waved Mrs Cruz off casually 'yeah yeah save the speech, I don't really give a shit about this school or this class to be honest Mrs Cruz' before she could say anything back Charlie had already gone through the doors.
'Jay my man' Charlie says as she swings her arm over jays shoulder who waited for her outside the classroom with a grin on his face. 'What she want' jay asked 'the usual teacher stuff don't be late or high again' they both laughed walking down the hallway arms around each other.
'Wanna skip' they turned around and saw Alison walking towards them. She got in the middle and put an arm around both there shoulders but could barely reach considering the 2 were giants compared to her. 'Hell yeah' they say in unison.
As they were about to exit the school Mrs Cruz stood by the door with a smug face. 'I suggest you three turn around and head to the classes you're supposed to be in' all three groaned and turned to walk away. 'Charlie stay here for a minute' Charlie said goodbye to her friends and faced the angry teacher. 'Since you stormed out earlier I wasn't able to mention on how you will have detention with me for the next 2 days so i expect you to see you on your free periods in my classroom, on time, do I make myself clear and Charlie, I'm not one to be messed with okay so try and stay on my good side this year' and she left leaving Charlie standing there anger boiling in her. 'Fuck this' she mumbled and stormed to her car and lit a blunt, after a few hits she was more relaxed.
It was time to go home, Charlie got in her car and drove she got there in under 10 minutes and she had no regard for the speed limits or anything else. She groaned as she saw her "parents" car in the driveway. She stayed in the car to prepare for the shit. Once she was done she opened the front door to be greeted with a look of disgust from her adoptive father. 'Nice to see you to John' she says sarcastically before she heads up to her room.
She slumps down on her bed ready to take a nap but before she could put her phone down it started to ring. 'Hey man party tonight at 8 be picking you up don't be late getting ready' jay said through the phone 'yes boss' Charlie responded in a serious tone. After about half an hour of talking to Jay she started getting ready she took a shower had something to eat then started to get ready.
7.45 on the dot Jay was beeping his horn to let Charlie know he was there. Charlie walked out and headed straight for the car, she got in the back seat as Alison was on the front seat. Charlie sent daggers at Alison for taking the seat but Alison poked her tongue out and sent a playful wink at Charlie. That caused Charlie to laugh and let it go.
