***************************************

A week had passed since Ruhani's wedding to Sashwat, an event that felt more like a carefully choreographed play than a celebration of love. On the surface, she had wrapped herself in the role of the dutiful wife, ensuring that Sashwat saw her as a compliant partner. But in truth, she was working diligently on her escape plan, her mind racing with ideas, opportunities, and strategies.

The house felt like a gilded cage, and every moment spent under Sashwat's watchful gaze only fueled her determination. Ayesha, Sashwat's trusted aide, had begun to form a bond with her, unwittingly providing valuable information. On the day of Sashwat's important meeting, Ruhani casually approached Ayesha while they were in the kitchen.

"Ayesha, do you know when Sashwat will be leaving for his meeting?" she asked, trying to sound innocent.

Ayesha looked up, nodding. "Yes, he's scheduled to leave after breakfast for a few hours. It's a big deal, you know. Important clients coming in."

A thrill surged through Ruhani. This was the perfect opportunity. "Oh, that's great!" she exclaimed with feigned excitement. "I hope everything goes well for him."

"Of course, but you should really take this time to relax," Ayesha advised. "You've been so busy since the wedding."

Ruhani thanked her and rehearsed the details of her escape in her mind. Once Sashwat left, she would make her move quickly and quietly.

She was sitting in her room lost in her thoughts how to move out from this cage when Sashwat came.

Sashwat - " Where are you lost rose?"

Ruhani - " Nothing, just thinking to make dinner tonight!"

Sashwat - " Not today please"

Ruhani - " Why Mr Husband!"

Sashwat - " Because Mrs Wife , I have to go to a meeting and I will come home after dinner. So please Tommorow!"

Ruhani - "Ohhh Okk!"

Ruhani (in mind) - " Today is our last day together!"

Sashwat - " Bye take care sweetheart"

Ruhani - " Bye"

As soon as Sashwat departed, a wave of adrenaline washed over her. She swiftly grabbed a small bag that contained only the essentials-her identification and a few belongings. Heart racing, she slipped out of the house, making sure to avoid any areas where she might run into staff members.

But she cannot leave as ayesha was there. She moved towards the kitchen and made a quick dish. And without any one's knowledge she added a white powder in it. Ayesha was sitting in her room after finishing her work. Ruhani knocked at her door.

Ayesha - Mam , why are you knocking? Please come in . Is something you want?

Ruhani - Yes , I want you to taste this pasta made by me and tell how it is..

Ayesha - But mam me...

Ruhani - Yes you , now COMMON, eat it and tell me how it is ?

Ayesha took a bite . Ruhani said in mind" I am sorry Ayesha. I am forced to chose this path!"

Within a few minutes Ayesha passed out and was hanging in Ruhani's arms. Ruhani made her lay down on the bed and left the room after looking at her for the last time.

Ruhani - " I didn't know that leaving you will be so easy ! "

"Bye bye, Mr. Sashwat Raichand," she whispered with a sly smile. "You'll soon understand who Ruhani Bedi really is!"

With each step away from the villa, she felt lighter, freer. She hailed a cab discreetly, ensuring that Sashwat's connections wouldn't trace her. As they drove toward the airport, a sense of power surged through her. She had made her choice, and there was no looking back.

Once inside the terminal, she navigated through the bustling crowd, her pulse quickening with the excitement of her newfound freedom. She reached the gate for her flight, taking one last glance back at the life she was leaving behind. It wasn't just about escaping Sashwat; it was about reclaiming her identity and the person she once was.

Moments later, she stepped onto the plane, her heart pounding with hope and determination.

"Time to break free," she murmured to herself as the plane began to taxi down the runway. "Time to embrace who I really am."

In the airport

" Mam passport please"

" I am Sandhya Singh, And here is my passport..."

( Authors note - " Sandhya Singh, who is this let's find out... )

As the aircraft soared into the sky, she inhaled deeply, feeling the weight of the past begin to lift. The freedom she had longed for was finally within her grasp, and nothing would stand in her way.

***************************************

Meanwhile, when Sashwat returned home that night, he sensed an eerie stillness in the air. The usually bustling villa felt devoid of its usual energy, and an unsettling knot twisted in his stomach as he made his way through the rooms, calling out for Ruhani.

"Ruhani! Are you here?" he called, but the only response was the echo of his own voice.

As he entered the bedroom, he noticed the disarray-her bridal lehenga still hanging in the closet, makeup items scattered on the dressing table-but something was off. A rush of unease washed over him as he checked every room, each step heavy with dread.

Finally, he returned to the living room and found Ayesha standing there, a somber expression marring her usually cheerful demeanor.

"Where is Ruhani?" Sashwat demanded, his concern transforming into anger. "She should be here waiting for me!"

Ayesha hesitated, and her silence spoke volumes. "Sashwat, sir... I... I didn't think-"

"Didn't think what?!" he snapped, panic clawing at him. "Where is she, Ayesha?"

"I'm so sorry," Ayesha admitted, her voice trembling. "I thought-"

"Thought what?" he interrupted vehemently. "That she would just sit here like a doll? You let her down!"

It was then that Sashwat noticed a small note lying on the table. He picked it up, his heart racing as he read the elegant script.

**"Sashwat,

I need to find myself again. This life-

it's not who I am. Please understand; I'm leaving to be free. You think that caging me and making me your doll will make me safe Sashwat , then you are wrong! Really wrong!

I am someone whom you cannot even imagine. My reality is something which is unknown to everybody and you will never know it. I never wanted this way but you have left this only way left for me.

If you really are the Mafia king,

Sashwat Raichand, Find me... Try to find me. !!!"

Goodbye."**

The finality of the words hit him hard, and he felt the room spin as dread settled in. "No," he whispered, clutching the note as if it might reveal some hidden means to reverse the situation. "Ruhani, where have you gone?"

His mind raced with a myriad of thoughts-betrayal, anger, heartbreak-but beneath it all was a burgeoning realization: he had underestimated her, and now she was slipping through his fingers. "I have to find her," he thought, a sense of urgency overwhelming him.

"I can't lose her," he muttered, determination and desperation intertwining. "I will find you, Ruhani. You won't be free for long."

As the plane touched down and Sandhya disembarked, the thrill of freedom coursed through her veins. Underneath her mask and sunglasses, she felt nearly unrecognizable-transformed from the vulnerable bride into a woman stepping boldly into a new chapter of her life. Her long hair, usually cascading down in waves, was stylishly bundled up, exuding confidence and purpose.

The bustling terminal is hummed with activity, filled with travelers and their lively chatter. With every step, she felt herself shedding the remnants of her past as her heart quickened with excitement.

As she made her way through the crowd, a girl approached her with bright eyes and an enthusiastic smile. "Excuse me, Ma'am! Are you Sandhya Ma'am?" she asked, her voice laced with excitement.

Ruhani's heart raced momentarily at the mention of another name. It was the identity she had chosen for her new life. "Yes, that's me!" she replied, forcing a confident smile, embellishing the persona she had adopted. The name felt liberating as it slipped from her lips, a shield against the past she was leaving behind.

[ Authors note - So yes cuties our babygirl , our Ruhani is now Sandhya....

Wowww .... I like it so much.. ]

"Wonderful! Please come with me. Your special arrangements are all booked!" the girl said, leading her through the terminal with an eager pace.

Ruhani glanced around, taking in the atmosphere while she followed the girl, feeling a giddy rush of anticipation. "What kind of arrangements?" she asked, curiosity framing her expression.

"The special event you're attending," the girl said as they walked. "It's exclusive, and you'll have everything taken care of-from transportation to accommodations. You're a VIP, after all!"

"A VIP?" Ruhani smirked under her mask, the thought igniting a spark of excitement in her. "Well, I do prefer being treated like one. Let's see what this adventure brings."

As they approached a sleek black car parked outside, Ruhani's heart sang at the thought of what lay ahead. Sliding into the vehicle, she felt a wave of confidence wash over her-a delicious blend of fear and excitement.

As the car pulled away from the airport, the girl turned to her and said, "Can I ask, how does it feel to leave everything behind and start fresh?"

Ruhani paused for a moment, reassessing her internal journey. "It feels... exhilarating," she replied honestly, her voice steady. "It's like stepping out of the shadows into the sunlight after a long time. I'm ready to embrace who I'm meant to be."

"That's inspiring!" the girl said, beaming. "It takes a lot of courage to do what you're doing."

"Yes, courage," Ruhani echoed, nodding to herself. "And maybe a sprinkle of audacity," she added with a mischievous smile.

The girl all of a sudden said " Welcome to this new city....... Singapore.."

Sandhya smirked and nooded.

As they drove through the city, each passing scene brought her new vibrancy. The bright lights and bustling streets mirrored the energy surging within her. She imagined possibilities blooming in front of her-new friendships, new experiences, and perhaps even a new purpose.

Her thoughts were interrupted as they arrived at a luxurious hotel towering magnificently above the streets. As they entered, the lobby's opulent décor engulfed her senses in warmth and luxury.

"Welcome to your new life, Sandhya Ma'am," the girl said, guiding her through the entrance.

Ruhani took a deep breath, feeling the anticipation swell within her. "Yes, welcome indeed," she whispered to herself, letting the name echo in her thoughts. "From now on, I am Sandhya, and I will make my mark on this world."

With each step, she embraced her transformation, relishing the delight of leaving the past and embracing a life where she could define herself on her own terms. The weak Ruhani was gone; in her place stood Sandhya-a woman ready to conquer whatever challenges lay ahead.

Days turned into a week, and Ruhani, now fully embraced in her new identity as Sandhya, had successfully evaded every trace of her past life. It was as if the universe had conspired to grant her a fresh start. She claimed her independence and stepped into a world that shimmered with endless possibilities.

One afternoon, as she sat in a plush lounge area of the hotel, sipping herbal tea and reviewing her plans, her companion-a bubbly young woman named Lisa-approached her with an infectious grin.

"Hey, Sandhya!" Lisa exclaimed, a sparkle of curiosity in her eyes. "When will you reveal that you are the sleeping lioness, ?"

[ Authors note - Keep this name in mind because this is very important for the following chapters .]

The words hung in the air, and a sense of intrigue settled in around them. Sandhya looked up, her expression a mix of amusement and contemplation. For a second, Lisa's words echoed in her mind, summoning memories of the power she had yearned for but had never fully grasped in her previous life.

"Ah, Lisa," Sandhya replied, a small smile curling at the corners of her lips. "When the time comes, I will reveal that side of myself."

"This game of hide-and-seek is getting thrilling, but you know you can't stay hidden forever, right?" Lisa teased, leaning closer, her excitement palpable. "You're too fierce to remain in the shadows. The world deserves to see the power you possess!"

Sandhya chuckled softly, appreciating Lisa's enthusiasm. "Maybe, but I have my reasons for keeping things under wraps for now. Patience is a virtue. The right moment will come."

"What are you waiting for?" Lisa pressed, her wide eyes urging Sandhya to reveal her secret identity. "I mean, the story goes that you're not just another pretty face. Everyone is eager to know what you're capable of!"

"Every lioness needs a chance to observe her surroundings before she roars," Sandhya replied thoughtfully. "I need to understand the terrain, the players, and the stakes at hand before I step into the spotlight. This isn't just a game; it's a chess match, and I intend to play it wisely."

Lisa nodded, absorbing Sandhya's words. "I get it. But just promise me that when you do decide to unleash your inner queen, it's going to be unforgettable. I want front-row seats to watch you take over!"

Sandhya smirked, the spark of determination igniting in her eyes. "Trust me, when I reveal myself, it will be a spectacle that no one will ever forget. Be ready for the show."

As the days went by, Sandhya honed her skills and strategized her next moves while enjoying newfound friendships and experiences. She was no longer the fearful Ruhani, bound by circumstance and expectation. Instead, she was a woman poised to reclaim her narrative and carve her path with calculated precision.

Next day....

As Sandhya sat at her new workspace, the soft clicks of the keyboard punctuated the quietude around her. She was fully immersed in her plans, her laptop displaying various maps, names, crucial contacts-not just remnants of her past, but tools for her future.

Just then, Lisa burst into the room, her face flushed with excitement or perhaps disbelief. "Sandhya! You won't believe what's happening! I just got the footage from Sashwat's study!"

Curiosity piqued, Sandhya turned in her chair, a smirk already forming on her lips. "Footage? Of what? Him sipping tea peacefully?"

"No!" Lisa exclaimed, practically bouncing on her heels. "He's completely losing it! He threw a vase at his assistant! Look!" She pulled out her phone and began to play the video, and Sandhya leaned in, eager to witness the chaos.

The screen showcased Sashwat in all his fury-crimson-faced, pacing the room, and then the explosion of the vase against the wall, followed by the shocked expression on face as he slumped to the floor. The moment was chaotic yet oddly humorous, a visual representation of the pent-up rage he had been holding onto since her departure.

"Oh noooo, so much anger!!!" Sandhya exclaimed, her laughter spilling out uncontrollably. The sight of Sashwat unraveling, the man who once seemed so strong and unshakeable, was a deliciously gratifying spectacle in her new life.

Lisa joined in, her laughter infectious as they watched the scene unfold. "Can you believe it? He's going to lose it if he keeps going like this! I mean, throwing a vase? How cliché!"

"That's just pure drama!" Sandhya said between fits of giggles, wiping away a tear of mirth from her eye. "I knew he would eventually unravel, but this? This is a meltdown worthy of a soap opera! Maybe I should send him a recovery gift-a new vase?"

As they continued to watch the footage, Sandhya felt a sense of liberation washing over her. The emotional turmoil she had experienced was now turning into something she could use to propel herself forward. Sashwat's rage and frustration didn't just reveal his obsessive nature; they solidified her resolve to stride confidently into her new identity.

"Just look at him!" Sandhya mused, still chuckling. "All that power, and here he is, reduced to a petulant child throwing his toys. If only he knew I was out here thriving instead of cowering!"

Lisa shook her head, her laughter subsiding into a satisfied grin. "He's not going to know what hit him when you finally decide to come back and show him who you really are."

"Yes," Sandhya said, her voice dropping slightly as she felt a shift in her demeanor. "I will take back my power when the time is right, and maybe then, he'll understand he underestimated the woman he thought he controlled. Until then, let him wallow in his fury."

With laughter still lingering in the air, Sandhya returned to her plans on the laptop, invigorated by the amusement and the beauty of her newfound freedom.

Once Lisa left, Sandhya was filled with a gleeful anticipation. She quickly rewound the footage of Sashwat's dramatic meltdown and pressed play again. The familiar scenes unfolded before her eyes-his anger unleashed, the vase flying through the air, and the moment of Vansh's stunned fall.

After the video ended, a wicked smile curled on Sandhya's lips. She leaned closer to the screen, her voice dripping with mock sweetness. "Find me, find me, Sashwat," she taunted, relishing the thrill of the chase. "I want to see your power at work. I want you to yearn for me, to realize what you lost. But still, you won't reach me so easily... not until I want you to."

The final word hung in the air, a promise laden with tension.

Then, her laughter erupted, an echoing melody of triumph that filled the room, dancing playfully off the walls. It was an evil chuckle that suggested cunning and defiance, a sound that celebrated her newfound freedom and the game she was about to play.

As the echoes faded, Sandhya settled back in her chair, invigorated by her plan. The world outside was still, yet inside her, a storm of ambition swirled. She knew that Sashwat would search for her, driven by his obsession. But each moment he faltered only deepened her resolve to step back into the spotlight on her own terms. She was ready to take control of her narrative, one clever move at a time.
