Chapter 19: Savvy's P.O.V ... Love Last If You Let It

Savvy’s P.O.V

(A/N: Oh, what you thought I would let you know if Christopher loves Kay?! HA-HA … Wrong. You can call me evil, but most just call me Savvy! :P)

“It's peanut butter jelly time!!! Peanut butter jelly time!!! Peanut butter jelly time!!!” I sang this as I hopped around my room, cleaning. I hated cleaning, and my room was like a black hole. Not as bad as Maddy’s room, though. Man, you would think she was hiding a body under all the stuff that littered her room. Mine wasn't that bad, yet I think I found a week old pizza under my bed. I wrinkled my nose and tossed it in the trash bin. My mouth was humming ‘Peanut butter jelly time.’

“Somebody’s happy.” A voice said from my door way. I looked and saw Allen.

“I am.” I walked over to him and placed a kiss on his lips. He wrapped a hand around my waist and deepened the kiss. “How did you know that I was happy, though?” I asked as I broke the kiss.

“Well, you are singing peanut butter jelly time and cleaning your room. I think hell has frozen over.”Allen stated with a smirk and then he kissed my cheek. I felt his warm lips make their way to my ear. I felt a nip and giggled.

“Allen, now if I don’t know any better I would say you’re trying to seduce me.” I whispered. He lifted his head from my ear and gave me a dazzling smile that made me feel weak at the knees.

“Savvy, I want to ask you something.” Allen said.

“Okay …”

“I’m going to tell my mom that we are dating … But I want you to be with me.” I immediately laughed at his words.

“I never said I was dating you.” I replied with a smile. In truth, I knew we were kind of dating, but I wanted him to ask me. He’s expression went to evilness. I stepped away from him. “Why are you looking at me like that?” I asked. He took large steps towards me. I kept backing away from him. Soon, I found my back hitting my honey-colored walls.

“Savvy,” he put one hand on either side of me, pinning me to the wall. “Will you be my girlfriend?”

“Will you move the hell away from me? I can practically smell your breath.” I admitted with nervousness laced in my voice.

“Not until you answer my question.” He simply stated.

“No, I'll never be your girlfriend.” I lied. He looked down at me, anger quickly spreading across his face.

“No?” Allen then composed his anger and leaned down until his lips brushed ever so lightly across mine. “Are you sure about that?”

Breathe Savvy. Breathe.

“Yes.” I tried to sound confident, but I knew it come out shaky.

“Well, then, I might just have to change your mind.” Allen said, and then moved his hands to my cheek. Grasping both sides of my cheeks, he pressed his lips on mine with yearning. I couldn’t help but twine my hand through his black hair. Something inside of me clicked, I guess you could say, and I jumped up wrapping my legs around his hips. His hands moved from my cheeks to my butt, and he supported me, and I kissed him back.

Right when I was going to kiss his jaw …. He dropped me!

“What the fuck?!” I yelped. He backed away, grinning.

“I’m sorry, I’d have love to go farther, trust me. Thing is, I don’t go any farther unless you are my girlfriend. Last time I checked, you weren’t my girlfriend.” He admitted.

“Why would I date you?! You just dropped my ass on the floor!”He smiled.

“I wouldn’t ever drop my girlfriend.” He sat down on my bed and looked at me.

“Allen,” I stood up and walked over to him. “You are one conniving boy.”

“Why, thank you!” He cheerfully said. “ … So, Savvy, do you want more? Or are we going to be buddies forever and ever!” Allen said the last part in a girlie voice. I chuckled at the way he said that.

“Admittly, Allen, I can’t stand being friends with you.” His face dropped to a frown. He actually believed me when I said that. “I can’t stand being your friend, because a friend can’t do this.” I placed a kiss on his lips. I backed away and grinned at the look on his face. He looked like he just won a trip to Disney World.

“What are you saying?” He asked in a daze.

“Allen, you just got yourself a girlfriend.” I then sat in his lap. He looked down at me.

“I’m the luckest guy in the world!” He yelled.

“Hey! I’m in your lap! You yelling hurts my ears!” I yelled back.

“Well, I am sorry! I’m just happy!” He screamed. I glared at him. “So, will you come with me to tell my mom?” He asked softly. I nodded.

“Of course.” and then Allen pushed me off his lap. I fell butt first on the floor."Allen! You said when I was your girlfriend you wouldn’t drop me!” I cried out to him. He got off my bed.

“I didn’t drop you, I pushed you. Now get ready, we are to meet my mom in an hour.” Allen stated.

“I’m going to kill you Allen!”

“But I’m your boyfriend.” I sighed.

“Boyfriend or not, I will still kick your butt.” I admitted.

“Whatever … I’ll be back in an hour to take you to see my mom.”

“Okay …” I said and then got off the floor.

“Where is your grandmother?” Allen asked.

“She had a dinner party to attend to. Now, leave, I have to get ready.” I stated. Allen gave me a peck on my lips before walking out of my room.

“Hello, Savvy, you look nice.” Allen’s mom said with a smile.

“Thank you, Mrs. Goudan.” She nodded and just stood there in fort of Allen and me. I could tell she knew something was up by the way she was studying us.

“So, what’s going on?” She asked us.

“Mom, I wanted to tell you, Savvy and I are dating.” I smiled when Allen said that. I glanced at him mom, her expression was full of … Anger?

“I think my pie is burning.” Mrs. Goudan randomly said.

“You aren’t cooking a pie.” Allen said. His mom glared at him.

“I-I have to …” All the sudden Mrs. Goudan sprinted out of the room. I was shocked, she had never seemed so … upset about something.

“I’ll be right back, stay here.” Allen whispered to me. I nodded and he walked in the same direction his mom had. A few minutes later I heard raised voices. Curiosity got the best of me, I walked to the kitchen, when Allen and his mom where.

“I’ll not let my son date the daughter of a drunk!” Mrs. Goudan yelled.

“You can’t judge Savvy off of her mom’s actions!”

“The apple never falls too far from the tree!”

“So are you saying I’ll be like my dad? Who leaves his family when one of his children gets sick!?” Allen stated. I sighed, remembering that Allen had a sister and she got cancer. Allen’s dad left when they found out.

“Allen! No! I don’t think you will be like your father …. I just...”

“Don’t trust Savvy.” Allen finished her sentence

“No, Savvy is always too hyper and annoying! From what I remember, Savvy acts just like her mom. I will not allow you to date her!”

“You can’t decide who I do and don’t date.”

“Wanna bet? Allen, if you date her you, you know the things I can do.” Allen's mom replied with a stern voice.

“I know you, you don’t have the guts to do anything.”

“Want to bet?” There was silence. “Break up with her now! And I mean now!” I heard footsteps. I took off back to the living room.

Control yourself Savvy, he will not give into his mom. Don’t cry.

Allen walked in, with a frown. I felt my heart fell.

“Savvy …” His voice was weak, and shaky. I started shaking my head. “Savvy, I can’t date you.” My eyes became watery.

“No, Allen-" He cut me off.

“I hope we can be friends.” His said in a low voice.

“Allen-" He was looking at the floor, not me.

“Savvy, don’t make this harder than it is.” I shook my head and made my way towards him.

Damn it! I’m gonna kiss him! And he will see he’s wrong,  but Allen stepped away from me.

“Just, please, go, Savvy, I will see you tomorrow at school.” He said and then walked out of the room. His mom entered and looked at me.

“It’s for the best my dear.” Was all I heard her say before I ran out of their living room.

I dashed to my room. My hands trembled as I dialed Maddy’s number.

“Hello?” Maddy said on the other line.

“M-maddy?”

“Savvy?” I cried at the sound of her voice.

“I-I need y’all.” I said hinting towards the gang (Hope, Kay, and Maddy.)

“Calm down, breathe, give me five minutes.” Maddy said. I nodded and hung up the phone. I fell on my bed and curled into a ball. Tears streaming down my face.

How could he give into his mom?

How could she be so against me?

Five minutes felt like a lifetime, but then I heard my door open. I didn’t look to see who it was. All I saw through my blurred vision is three figures walking to my bed.

“Savvy, what happened?” I knew it was Kay. I said nothing.

“Savvy, tell us.” Hope egged. I shook my head and cried. I blinked and watched, Hope, Kay and Maddy sit on my bed.

“I guess this is time for an emergency sleepover!” Maddy said. “I’ll call my brother to bring the junk food.” I smiled; my friends truly were the best.

“I’m up for a sleepover!” Kay said.

“Me too,” Hope admitted.

“We are all here for you, Savvy.” Maddy stated.

“Always,” Kay muttered.

“And Always.” Hope added.
