GINGER POV
Two weeks have gone by fast and it's smooth because I did my best to avoid Alessa without dad noticing it.
I'm sleeping sound but I groaned when I heard a knock.
"Ma'am, Sir Emman said you should wake up already
because today is your first day of class" The maid said politely.
"I don't wanna" I mumbled still my eyes closed.
I groaned again in annoyance before standing up because the maid continued on knocking.
"Tell him I'll be down in twenty minutes" I watched movie till one in the morning so I still feel sleepy.
I stretched my arms and yawned out loud afterwards. I feel so lazy to get changed, I'm only wearing my underwear and tank top and didn't bother to put on my bra.
I took a quick brush and washed my face before heading to the dining area. I frowned upon hearing Alessa's voice. I was about to head upstairs again to get changed when dad called me.
"GG, what took you so long?" he said smiling, but
frowned when he saw what I'm wearing.
"What are you wearing? We have a visitor, good thing A is a woman" he said before glancing to Alessa.
She's not a visitor, she's a nuisance! I replied mentally before sitting beside him.
"Yeah she's a woman and I'm sure what I'm wearing right now is no big deal to her, right?" I gazed at her while raising my brow.
If you only knew dad, your fiancée wants me naked when she was my girlfriend I said mentally while smirking at her. She's avoiding my gaze.
"Of course!" she replied faking a smile. She looked so awkward but I don't feel anything at all.
"By the way, since you're both attending the same school, why don't you give your future mom a ride" I almost spit out the juice that I'm drinking.
"Dad, she have her own car" I argued.
"Yeah, she's right Emman I have my car" she seconded.
"No, it's sad driving alone plus I want you to introduce GG to your friends" he said while shaking his head in objection.
I just shrugged my shoulders in surrender because I know that he will never change his mind. I should've not agreed to take my masters degree at her school in the first place.
I sighed heavily before standing up, I already lose my appetite to eat.
"Whatever, I'll go get change" I said before heading to my room lazily. I don't wanna be with her and I'm not interested to meet her friends either.
I let my hair loose, put on sunblock and powder, then I applied red lipstick as a final touch. I wore a red muscle shirt with Vans logo pairing it with black jeans and white chucks.
I took my time making myself beautiful, I don't care if she's waiting, dad said her class is at eight and it's already seven thirty.
I decided to get out of my room when I heard the sound of dad's car leaving, I'm expecting Alessa to hitch with him because she's really gonna be later for her class.
I walked down the stairs whistling in victory but I frowned when I saw Alessa still sitting on the couch.
"She should be gone already" I muttered in distaste.
I walked pass her and headed to my black Porsche, I sat on the driver's seat and started the ignition immediately. I'm about to go when she knocked on my window signaling me to unlock the door. I rolled my eyes before obliging.
I stepped on the revolution and drove fast as soon as she sat down, which caused her to bump on the dashboard, good thing she used her hands to shield her face.
"Can't you be more careful?!" she said irritably.
I ignored her but I quite felt guilty afterwards, I'm still mad at her but I don't want her to get hurt physically. I prefer emotionally and I will make sure to make her feel what I felt six years ago.
I focused on driving to avoid having a conversation with her, I can't wait for her to get out of my car. I frowned when I noticed that she's wearing a miniskirt, my hand is bumping on her thigh occasionally because of the gear shift. She's still as flawless and hot, her thigh that once became mine.
I shook my head to remove my dirty thoughts, she can make me hot just by looking at her body. I admit she still has an effect on me, suddenly the memory of her driving me to school and work came rushing back.
"Now I'm your instant driver, how convenient" I snorted. She glanced at me in disbelief.
"Emman wanted this. I've been driving since high-school so I don't need you as a driver" she replied flatly.
"Oh yeah I remember clearly. Do you drive dad home as well or drive somewhere? Are you still good in driving?" I asked her hinting a double meaning. She got what I meant and faced me frowning.
"Stop being a pervert and mind your own business, it's our relationship not yours" she replied irritably.
I just smirked in response, her friends used to be my friends too but I don't know if they still are. It's been a long time, I wonder if most of them got married already.
I smiled upon getting out of my car. Nothings changed with the facade of the school that I dreamed of coming to before. There're still lots of good-looking people, I'm pretty sure that I will enjoy my masters degree here.
I've been away for six years and I accepted my dad's offer to study in London because I want to forget all the things that reminds me of her.
"I'm too late with my first subject" she said annoyed while checking the time on her watch.
"It's your fault, you should've hitched with your boyfriend in the first place not with your ex" I sneered.
She frowned and about to respond when someone interrupted.
"Alessa!" I immediately turned around to face the person that called her.
"Maya!" Alessa ran to her and gave her a kiss on the cheek.
Maya?
I remember her because she's one of Alessa's closest friends. She's also the closest to me back then and she's still gorgeous. Her eyes averted on mine afterwards, I know that she's trying to remember me. I grinned before walking close to her.
"Hi Maya" I waved at her. Her eyes widen in shock when she finally recognized me.
"Gi...Ginger Vera?"
"Yeah that's me " I winked at her afterwards. She squealed in happiness before pulling me for a hug.
"Wow! You're stunning and blonde" she said after releasing me. I chuckled lightly, I colored my hair blonde because my friends told me that I looked better on it than black.
"Well, people change" I said grinning before glancing to Alessa. She ignored me and averted her eyes somewhere which Maya noticed.
"Yes you really changed, hmmmm... Did you two reconciled already and got back together?" she asked me suspiciously.
"Huh? No!" Alessa interrupted while shaking her head. Maya crossed her arms and p
"Then why are you two together now? Does she know about Emm-"
"He's my father" I interrupted her while faking a nonchalant smile. Alessa's face flushed while Maya's eyes grew in disbelief.
"Oh my! So you are GG? what a small world" she said still in awe.
"Yeah small world, I can't believe my ex is soon to be my mom. I'm so excited" I said sarcastically.
"Anyways Maya, do you have a boyfriend?" I asked changing the topic.
I know that she has a crush on me back then but I didn't entertain her because I love Alessa. There's nothing wrong if we flirt with each other now because we're both single.
"We just broke up, why?" she asked puzzled.
I grinned when an idea came up. I grabbed her waist and kissed her passionately, she's a bit surprised but responded to my kiss afterwards.
"Ginger!" Alessa pulled me away from Maya. Her face is red in anger.
"What? I thought you're already late on your first subject? Go ahead, Maya and I still need to talk" I said grinning before winking at Maya.
"If you want to get laid badly go somewhere else, not here in school because you're causing attention to others. Also don't drag my friend along with your mess" she said sternly.
"Mess? Well I guess I'm a beautiful mess" I said cockily which made Maya laugh.
"Besides, I'm just returning the kiss that she gave me six years ago" I said smirking. Maya's face flushed upon remembering what happened six years ago.
"What are you talking about Ginger?" I shrugged my shoulders in response before walking away.

ALESSA POV
My eye bags are so visible because I didn't sleep well the whole week, I still kept on thinking about my conversation with Ginger in the kitchen.
"Whats wrong A? didn't you sleep well last night?" he asked anxiously before reaching for my right hand and pressed it lightly.
This is only the second time that I slept in his house since Ginger arrived from London.
"Uhmm yeah, I was awake till three in the morning because I'm reviewing for my upcoming presentation this week" I lied flashing my usual smile.
He nodded in understanding before asking the maid to wake up Ginger because we both have classes today.
I feel uneasy whenever I hear her name, I sighed heavily afterwards. I don't know what to do whenever she's around. She makes me feel like she's watching every move that I make.
I gulped when I saw her approaching, she's wearing a tank top without a bra and it's so obvious because her nipples looked hard. She glanced at me but didn't say anything, my heart skipped a beat when she sat opposite to mine.
I cant help myself not to glance at her once in a while because she looked really hot right now. I'm like a man who appreciates her sexiness so much, good thing only me and her father can see her like that.
I don't want anyone to see her like that, until now I'm still possessive when it comes to her though it's not my business anymore.
Emman insisted that Ginger should drive me to school on her first day. I'm glad that he's oblivious of the tension between me and his daughter but I can't help no to feel annoyed of our situation.
I don't wanna be with her because it's suffocating, she kept on bringing up the mistake that I did for leaving her. She's a different person now and I know that I'm the reason why she's like that.
I will do anything to make her forgive and accept me as her father's girlfriend. I won't give up for Eman's sake no matter what.
I didn't have the chance to attend my first subject because I'm so late and it's her fault, I know that she did it on purpose.
Maya was shocked to see Ginger with me, she can't believe when she learned that Ginger is Emman's long lost daughter. Our situation is very awkward and I don't want to elaborate more so I decided to stay quite.
I can't believe what Ginger did next, she kissed Maya in front of me. I immediately felt a pang of jealousy even though I don't have the rights. I loved her and I know that deep inside my heart that she still has a place there.
"Ginger!" I pulled her away from Maya.
"What? I thought you're already late on your first subject? Go ahead, Maya and I still need to talk" She said grinning before winking at Maya. I know that she's doing that to annoy and she's obviously winning.
"If you want to get laid badly go somewhere else, not here in school because you're causing attention to others. Also don't drag my friend along with your mess" I said sternly.
"Mess? Well I guess I'm a beautiful mess" She replied cockily which made Maya laugh.
"Besides, I'm just returning the kiss that she gave me six years ago" She smirking.
I glared at Maya, judging from her flushed face it must be true.
"What are you talking about Ginger?" I asked frowning but she just shrugged her shoulders in response before walking away.
"Maya tell me the truth! Don't you dare lie to me" I warned her. I remember way back then when she told me that she has a crush on Ginger but I didn't mind it.
"It's not what you think it is" she said hastily while shaking her head.
"Then you better start explaining to me!" I'm shaking in anger. I shouldn't be acting like this but I can't help it because I've never seen Ginger kiss anyone before.
"It happened the night of my birthday, we're all drunk and wasted, you went out for a bit because your mom is calling" she started explaining.
I nodded because I can still remember that time, I motioned her to continue afterwards.
"Ginger and I were left in the living room, she's so cute that night so I kissed her" my eyes widen in disbelief.
"Don't blame me! You know me when I'm drunk" she said defensively.
"She blushed afterwards and told me that she loves you and that she doesn't feel the same way to me. She thought that I'm confessing to her" she continued chuckling.
I smiled, that's what I did when I confessed to her so it's not surprising that she thought Maya is also doing the same.
"Then what happened next?" I asked curiously.
"I laughed so hard and I told her that it's just an experiment nothing more nothing less. End of story" she clung in my right arm afterwards.
"I'm sorry okay? That was six years ago so you don't have a choice but to forgive me" I smiled before nudging her waist.
I know that she won't betray me, I also witnessed her kissing random friends when she's wasted. Ginger loves me so much back then and it's strange that there's still a part of me hoping that she still loves me.
"What about now that she's single? she kissed you and you kissed her back Maya!" I snapped at her, remembering what happened a while ago.
"It's no big deal Alessa, and besides you are engaged already so don't act as if she cheated on you with me" she rolled her eye afterwards.
"It's still awkward because she's my ex. If she starts flirting with you please turn her down, don't complicate things for me" I pleaded while sighing heavily.
"I know that don't worry. She may be hot but our friendship is more important" she assured me before giving me a hug.
Ginger can flirt anyone that she likes but Maya is off limits.
