Shehnaz looked at her jewellery and sighed loudly.
Meeti chuckled and said, We could have skipped this meeting but this is your first time meeting all the men so there's nothing we can do.
Shehnaz groaned and said, After this I will literally sleep the whole day.
They walked towards the royal court and sat at the curtained part of it where every woman was, just then the announcement was made about Sidharth entering.
Shehnaz looked at her side and saw him coming as if he's a big deal; she chuckled and thought full on character mein hain.
Sidharth sat down and then Mahira came in and sat with Sidharth next to him.
The ceremony of meeting people started, Shehnaz was least interested so she looked around bored.
Just when an announcement was made for the chief of warriors Mir.
Shehnaz looked at her side and saw Meeti blushing and looking at someone, she looked at her side and saw the Royal minister talking to Sidharth.
Shehnaz thought, He's really young and good looking for a minister. Nice choice Meeti!
Suddenly the curtain was pierced open by a big sword, and even before Shehnaz could realise anything her hand was grabbed and she was pulled towards a hard chest and she froze.
She was shocked with what happened, meanwhile everyone around her rose with shock too.
Shehnaz slowly looked up and saw that new Chief Soldier looking at her with worry.
Before he could even ask anything, he was pushed to be on his knees with swords on his neck.
Shehnaz looked at her back and saw a big poisonous insect behind her dead.
Meanwhile Sidharth was growing angry every moment, it pissed the hell out of him that how randomly a man held Shehnaz.
One of the men who had sword on Mir's neck spoke, Kya kare shehnshaah marde itni badi gustakhi ke liye?
Sidharth was silent and Shehnaz scoffed and said, Shehenshaah inhone humari jaan bachayi hai, yeh dekhe ( pointing at the dead body)!
Sidharth's eyes widened and he quickly said, Remove the swords.
Sidharth angrily looked at his ministers and said, How can all of these things enter the royal court? Main ek Makhii bhi nahi chahta yaha pe!
Everyone nodded when an old man spoke up, Par yeh bataye, Mir ko yeh dikh kaise gayi? Jab nigahe vaha hoti hai tab bhi-
Shehnaz scoffed and said, Bura mat manyega Khan sahab par kahi aap dukhi toh nahi hai ki hum zinda reh gaye? Rahi dursi baat; Saenik ( Soldier) hai Woh. Unki Kaan and Ankhe humesha khuli rehti hai aap nahi mante?
Sidharth looked at Shehnaz who was really defending him while he looked at the eyes of Mir who had his face blank but his eyes were shinning with admiration which made Sidharth angrier.
Shehnaz looked at sidharth and said, Izazat chhati hu jane ki!
Sidharth nodded, and the whole court room was dispersed.
Ammi jaan came towards Shehnaz with a big smile and said, Aaj aapne Sidharth ke samne jaise baat ki hume bada acha laga! Kismein toh Himmat hai Sidharth ko samjhne ki!
Shehnaz smiled and thought, Kaun bataye inhe ki yeh Woh Sidharth hai jo merse punches khata hai!
As she was walking she was stopped by someone, she looked up and saw Mir breathing heavily.
Shehnaz- I know you are here to say Thankyou to me, but I saved your life and you saved mine it's equal.
Mir looked at her amused and then said, Yeh bhi baat thi par aapka kada ( bangle) mere haath mein aagya tha galti Se!
Shehnaz's eyes widened due to embarrassment and she quickly took the bangle; thanked him and ran away.
Meanwhile Sidharth couldn't pull the flashes off his mind, it looked like a whole romantic scene when he saved her and pulled her closer and the way she looked at him.
He screamed a little and thought, Remember what she did. Don't think about her don't think about her.
Just then Asim; the royal minister came in and saw Sidharth so worked up.
He smiled in his mind and then said, Shehenshah aapko kuch chhaiye?
Just when Sidharth thought to talk it out, someone else came to discuss the war situation.
Shehnaz here walked through the doors of Harem when she realised that there's a door and she could hear women giggling.
She opened the door and saw everything was in red.
Everyone turned their head and looked at her in horror while she looked at them confused.
The oldest lady quickly got up and said, Begum aap aapna rasta Bhul gayi!? Jaye yaha se koi dekh lega!
Shehnaz looked at them confused and said, Kyun? Yeh bhi toh Harem ka part hai!
The old lady- Yaha sari vesya hai! ( prostitutes)
Shehnaz looked at all the women of different age looking at her, she smiled and said Koi baat nahi hum bhi yaha baithenge!
They all looked at her in horror and got up and started to ask her to leave.
Shehnaz locked the door and said, Dekhiye ab koi nahi ayega! Aur aap log hume bacha lijiyega! Udhar mera koi dost nahi hai toh yaha banalete hai haina?
All the women stared at her shocked and some were teary eyed because they never got that respect.
10 minutes into the conversation and Shehnaz had already won over everyone's heart and she really enjoyed spending time with them.
She looked at the window and saw it's really late, she got up and said Hum kal fir ayenge aur aap hume nitray sikhayenge theeke?
Everyone hugged her after so many scoldings of Shehnaz to be normal with her.
She quickly went out happily while a young woman looked at the old woman and said,Yeh wali begum kitni achi haina?
The old woman smiled and said, inmein hum aane wala Kal dekhte hain!
Shehnaz tiredly went back to her room yawning and as she stretched out she saw Sidharth on her bed looking at the ceiling.
Shehnaz- Fir aagye? Besharamo ki tarah?
Sidharth's head snapped at her direction and he said, Ammi jaan ne bheja hai!
Shehnaz sighed and said, Roz sex kaun karta hai bhai?
Sidharth chocked on his own spit and looked at her who was so cool about everything.
Shehnaz lied down on the bed and said, Everything is so fun but I really wanna go home.
Sidharth- Same, even though it's fun being a king but I really want to play my video games!
Shehnaz chuckled and looked up.
Just when exactly at the same time their stomach grumbled.
They both looked at each other, Sidharth eyed her which Shehnaz refused.
Sidharth again eyed her and Shehnaz got up angrily and said Hamesha se I would have to do it! WHY?
Sidharth grinned and said, let's go to the kitchen.
They walked slowly towards the kitchen which was empty as all the chefs had left.
Sidharth sat on the counter and said, I really wish we had maggi!
Shehnaz- I know right! What should I make now?
Sidharth- French fries?
Shehnaz- You will do the cutting !
Sidharth groaned but nodded, they quietly worked.
After it was made, Shehnaz was about to take a bite when Sidharth said; come I found this amazing place.
He pulled her hand and dragged her to a secret garden.
They sat down on the swing and started to eat and watch the full moon.
Shehnaz- See there are so many stars here as if I am seeing a wallpaper. From the city we couldn't see much stars right.
Sidharth looked up with a smile and nodded.
Shehnaz was so dead tired that while eating half a fry, she slept on Sidharth's shoulder.
Sidharth looked at his side and as the moonlight fell on her face he couldn't stop staring. Once it was the face he loved, irrespective of anything he didn't wanted to feel that again.
But still he slowly tucked her hair strand but then shook his head and quickly got up from there and left her on the swing.
Shehnaz was In a deep sleep that she couldn't realise what happened.
Sidharth went back to his room thinking she will come back in few minutes; he fell on his bed and closed his eyes to sleep.
The next morning he woke up, and decided to go to shehnaz's room to bring his dagger when he saw that the bed was empty and untouched.
He saw Meeti going so he stopped her and said, Where is Shehnaz?
Meeti looked at her confused and said, Wasn't she with you?
Sidharth's eyes widened and he quickly ran to the garden cursing himself just when he saw Mir giving her a hot cup and Shehnaz was draped in a blanket and she looked at him with a smile.
He fisted his hands and stared at them in anger for a moment and left the place.
Meanwhile Shehnaz went back to her room cursing Sidharth all day.
Shehnaz had sinus, so she got a really bad cold which made her curled up in the blanket for the whole day.
Shehnaz thinks, THIS IS WHY I HATE YOU SO MUCH!
It was night and Sidharth again had to go because he was asked to.
He went inside and saw Shehnaz inside the blanket, he sighed and slowly picked up the blanket covering her face and then his eyes widened.
She was all red, her nose was red like a clown and her eyes had bags.
Sidharth- YOU GOT COLD?
Shehnaz- NO SHIT SHERLOCK! HOW COULD I NOT GET IT AFTER BEING IN THE COLD FOR A WHOLE NIGHT WITHOUT ANY BLANKET?
Sidharth- I thought you would have gone inside!
Shehnaz- HOW WILL I? WHEN I AM SLEEPING!
Sidharth- Did you take your medicine? Did you talk to the doctor? Did you take warm water? Did you-
Shehnaz- Fuck off Sidharth like seriously please.
Sidharth- Okay I am sorry na, you had your head on my shoulder and-
Everything went deaf in her ears, but one thing rang he was so disgusted to even have my head on his shoulders.
Unknowingly tears fell from her eyes which made Sidharth panicked.
He wiped her tears and said, I am really sorry please please!
Shehnaz like a kid covered her face with the blanket again and said GO AWAY!
Sidharth- I am sorry, as a punishment I will be here with you until you are alright!
Shehnaz scoffed and said, YOU CANT! FIRST BECAUSE YOUR THE KING AND SECOND BECAUSE I HATE YOU!
Sidharth thought for a moment and said, For the second reason I don't know, but I can make the first one right.
Before Shehnaz could even realise anything; the blanket was pulled from her face and his hand grabbed her neck as he pulled his face down and crashed his lips on hers.
She froze, she felt the same warmth which she did 5 years ago.
He opened her mouth and kissed her deeply; just when Shehnaz realised she pushed him away and shouted WHATS WRONG WITH YOU?
Sidharth grinned and then slowly coughed.
