Sidharth enters the building with everyone behind him, he looks back and says Where is Shehnaz?
The man replied- She's taking the interview of the new candidates.
Sidharth fisted his hands but nodded anyhow.
He entered the hall where Shehnaz was talking to some girl.
Sidharth came in and sat down, he looked at all of the girls and then said, get in number 3, 4,7,8 inside.
Shehnaz looked at him confused and said Why them?
Sidharth- Nothing much it's just that they are very pretty, not as much as me. But yeah!
Shehnaz felt something so strong inside her which made her glare at him angrily.
Shehnaz- So your next secretary will be chosen on the basis of looks?
Sidharth- Yeah in the start i didn't have a choice but now I do right. I choose the looks you see the skills!
Shehnaz scowled and looked away, and as the girls came in she started to fire them with so many questions which made Sidharth smile.
A girl who was just interviewed got out and said, What crazy people they are! They are looking for a secretary or a militant?
Sidharth read a message and smiled, let's do reverse psychology!
Sidharth cleared his throat and looked at the girl infront of them who was very confident and beautiful.
He said- You're in!
Shehnaz gasped and said she just said her name?
Sidharth- When I saw her, she gave me that strong secretary vibes! I think she will be a really great replacement for you.
Shehnaz was speechless, she couldn't point out what was she feeling. She had these mixed feelings, but she faked a formal smile and congratulated her and said, I am going to start your training tomorrow then!
Sidharth stopped her and said, Not tomorrow! Tomorrow we have some work. So today!
Shehnaz- What work?
Sidharth- Some work.
Shehnaz- What?
Sidharth- Some.
The girl- Sir..?
Sidharth and Shehnaz- WHATTT?
The girl froze and smiled nervously and said, So should I go home or stay?
Sidharth- Stay! And don't leave ever.
Shehnaz looked at him with an expression and angrily got up and left.
Sidharth- What's your name again?
Girl- didn't you say that..?
Sidharth- Name.
Girl- Maisha!
Sidharth- Okay now go after Shehnaz maam and learn the stuff.
Sidharth relaxed back on the chair and smirked a little, and said Why were you so pressed Shehnaz?
In the mid of the day, Sidharth was working seriously when shehbaz called.
Sidharth- Hmm?
Shehbaz- Bhai I have sent you the whole thing. Check it out!
Sidharth- Okay I have sent you the thing too! Bye! See you!
Shehbaz- You're the best!
Just then Shehnaz entered with food, Sidharth didn't look up and continued to work.
Shehnaz- You seemed to be In a very happy mood today so I got you iced americano with your favourite steak.
Sidharth- Why didn't Maisha Come in?
Shehnaz- Why would she?
Sidharth looked up and crossed his forearms and said, Shehnaz either I have a bad memory or you do. You're leaving so I need to have her habit and she needs to have my habit.
Shehnaz felt as if her heart dropped in her stomach, her stomach started to churn thinking about Sidharth changing his habit which was Shehnaz. It was so easy for him to let her go.
She shook her head to remove those thoughts and said, Sir she's working with the head department right now so she was busy. I will make sure that she brings your lunch from now on.
Sidharth held his chair tightly because it wasn't something he liked to hear.
Shehnaz- If there's nothing I would like to go.
Sidharth- dont.
Shehnaz- Haaan?
Sidharth- I mean no, you can go.
Shehnaz nodded stiffly and went out.
Sidharth opened his phone and saw the list and smiled.
The next day, Sidharth drove to her house and stood outside. He saw Shehnaz running outside with a loaf of bread in her mouth and quickly locking the door.
This made him realise, how different she was from the perfect secretary. The Shehnaz in the business was not at all clumsy, she was so feminine and always on time.
Just as her eyes met his, her bread dropped out of her mouth.
She quickly threw it and came to him surprised and said Why are you here?
Sidharth- I am here to give your farewell gift.
Shehnaz's heart beat increased but it wasn't in a positive way. She thought, he's so interested to fire me.
Shehnaz- THERES no need for it-!
Sidharth held her wrist and made her sit in the car and said, It's nothing grand! Just a token of thanks.
Shehnaz smiled lightly and thought, maybe it's not as bad as I thought.
They stopped in front of a huge gate which made shehnaz's jaw drop.
It was a zoo and a aquarium place.
Shehnaz's eyes twinkled and she looked at him and said Are we going here?
Sidharth smiled and nodded.
Sidharth and Shehnaz got out and Sidharth went out to talk about something when Shehnaz heard a conversation between a family.
The kid was wailing saying, Dad I want to go inside.
The dad patted his head and said, Next time. I promise when I get my next salary I will take you inside. Also someone booked this whole place today!
Shehnaz looked at sidharth in shock and then slowly went towards the kid and bent down.
She smiled and said, you want to go inside right! Come!
The father- No no please!
Shehnaz smiled and said, Don't worry it's my boss who booked the place, he won't mind two people.
Just then Sidharth came in to take her when Shehnaz Said, Sir can we take them in too!?
Sidharth- Would you mind?
Shehnaz- Not at all!
Sidharth- Then how can I?
The boy jumped happily and the father thanked them so many times as they entered.
Shehnaz elbowed him a little and said Sir you didn't have to book the whole place for me!
Sidharth- Who said it was for you? It was for me because if they saw a god like me they won't see the animals and focus on me!
Shehnaz burst out laughing while Sidharth smiled proudly.
Shehnaz saw the gorilla and pulled sidharth's coat like a kid and said, LETS SEE HIM FIRST!
Shehnaz tried to feed it while Sidharth stood at the side looking at it disgusted.
Shehnaz- Sir come na! He's just looking at you!
Sidharth- Obviously he would, he must have not seen a handsome man like me!
Shehnaz pulled him near the glass cage when the gorilla came closer near the glass and placed a kiss on it which was just infront of Sidharth!
Shehnaz roared of laughter seeing that and sidharth's ears turned pink watching that.
Sidharth pulled her and said Let's go somewhere else.
They spent half of the day feeding animals and looking around at the zoo.
Then finally they reached at the aquarium, it was an under ground aquarium.
Shehnaz jumped like a kid watching it and gave Sidharth her phone and said, please sir click my picture.
Sidharth took the phone and as he opened the camera he screamed.
Shehnaz- WHATS WRONG?
Sidharth- The front camera was on and I was shocked to see that I still looked hell handsome even in the low angle.
Shehnaz rolled her eyes and said, Click.
Sidharth clicked her pictures as she looked up at the fishes trying to kiss it and smiled.
Sidharth- THERES this last, dolphin show.
Shehnaz clapped excitedly and they went to the pool where the dolphins were.
Shehnaz cheered on for the dolphins when the trainer said, Do you want them to kiss you? Shehnaz- YES PLEASE!
Sidharth sprang out of his seat in shock and thought, There's no way she would kiss those.
I am way better than them.
He pushed Shehnaz lightly, and looked at the Trainer and said, I will do the honours.
Sidharth tried to hide his disgusted face as the dolphins came near him.
Slowly the dolphin pecked his cheeks and Shehnaz clicked the shot.
Sidharth got up and said Let's go!
Shehnaz- But even I want to kiss them!
Sidharth pulled her and said, No!
Shehnaz- I want to kiss!
Sidharth- NO!
Shehnaz- I WANT TO KISS!
Sidharth huffed and then grabbed her wrist and kissed her cheek hard.
Shehnaz froze as her heart started to beat loudly, her body tingled.
She slowly said- I-I meant.. dolphins.
Sidharth- O-oh-! Come.
The walked silently but somwhere Shehnaz was so happy that he kissed her cheek and she doesn't even know why.
She smiled looking at the zoo closing, and thought that they had so much fun today and it was just because of Sidharth.
Sidharth- Where do you wanna eat?
Shehnaz thought for a moment and said, Mcd!!!!
Sidharth looked at her and said, Well are you sure? I can take you to all kinds of restaurants!
Shehnaz happily said I want too!
Sidharth nodded and said, Okay let's go!
They sat down as Sidharth had ordered everything.
Sidharth- Why here?
Shehnaz- It has been 9 years since I have had mcd!
Sidharth looked at Shehnaz in shock and said Why?
Shehnaz while eating casually said, First I had never any time to go out like other girls and eat out and shop. I only went to shop for the necessities. And with you I started to have more of a healthy diet so you know.
Sidharth nodded but his face went down as he thought how much he had made her work.
Shehnaz saw the look and kept her hand on his unknowingly and said, it's not your fault! I loved being the way I was! If I didn't eat mcd, you took me to the best restaurants ever which normal girls can only dream off! I have visited so many places with you and tried so much.
Sidharth smiled and then his eyes went to their hands, dhak dhak dhak.
Shehnaz still didn't realise so he really wished the time to stop.
After dinner they drove back to her place as she was going out he stopped her.
Sidharth- Well.. um I have a gift for you.
Shehnaz- I hope it's not costly.
Sidharth quickly shook his head.
He thought for a second and said, never mind! You go!
Shehnaz- Why? No I want to see it now!
Sidharth- No it's bad I will get a good one!
Shehnaz - NO NO NO I WANT TO SEE THAT!
Sidharth sighed as he took out a black box and gave it to her.
He closed his eyes in embarrassment as Shehnaz slowly opened it.
She gasped, it was a handkerchief.
Sidharth- Well, um you didn't like costly gifts so I- I learnt how to sew and I wrote your name on the handkerchief because I saw you love handkerchief.
Shehnaz was feeling emotional as she caressed the word Shehnaz written. Though it wasn't perfect it was so precious.
Shehnaz saw a big red dot and said what's this?
Sidharth saw it and said Give it to me!
Shehnaz- What Why?
Sidharth- I didn't realise, I dropped my blood on it while making it.
Shehnaz looked at him shocked as she saw another part of him who tried. She touched it and kept it in her bag quickly and smiled brightly and said, This is the best gift anyone could ever give it to me! Thankyou so much sir I really love it!
Sidharth scratched his ear and said I really.. hope you do.
Shehnaz smiled nodding and got out and said, Drive safe.
Sidharth smiled and drove off while she stood holding the box tightly and smiled.
She took out it again and caressed it, as her heart beat fast.
She thought, He thinks I love collecting handkerchief. I only kept all of them for him so that if he forgets it I can give him because he's a cleanliness freak.
As the car passed, she felt him getting closer to her.
She kept the handkerchief close to her heart and said, Who are you?
More than 2k words everyday, I am trying so that the chapter doesn't feel short!
