Shehnaz was sitting inside the canteen with her friend Meeti, and was stuffing her mouth with food angrily.
Meeti- Kya kar rahi hai Shehnaz dheere khaa!
Shehnaz glared at her and then continued to eat angrily. After she was done she pulled her hair and said God I hate him so much so so freaking much!
Meeti laughed and said Um you talking about Sidharth bhai?
Shehnaz made a face and said Sidharth bhai? Bhai nahi Sidharth Hitler bolo! Bachpan se jeene haram kar raha hai mera! Like bachpan se chahe koi aur Kuch bhi kare Shehnaz tum Yeh nahi karogi!
Meeti laughed and said Koi baat nahi, tumne kaunsa unhe apni puri zindagi jhelna hai tumhara nikkah karvadenge ab ghar wale jaldi hi Kyuki college toh khatam hone hi wala hai !
Shehnaz keeps her chin on her palm and dreamily thinks, Soch if I get married to someone like Fawad Khan? Imagine oh god!
Meeti slapped the back of her forehead and said, Itna Mat Soch, Kamal R Khan na mil jaye!
Shehnaz slapped her head again and said Achaa ab main chalti hu Varna daant padegi! Allah hafiz!
Meeti waved back while Shehnaz sprinted out towards the car where the twins were standing.
The trio drives back home and as always runs inside the house to see who is the fastest.
Shehnaz runs quickly and reaching the sofa she turns back and shouts ARREY GAAO WALO DEKHO DEKHO UN LOSERS KO CHEETI BHI AAP DONO SE TEZ BHAAG LETI HAI BHAIJAAN!
Both of them was about to say something but froze.
Shehnaz- Kya hua bacchu? Darr gaye na? Abhi tum darre hona aise hi main uss Hitler ko-
Suddenly a voice says, Arrey Sidharth Beta tum yaha kyun khade ho?
Shehnaz's eyes widened and then she closes it cursing herself, Kutti kamini idhar udhar dekh leti!
Sidharth clears his throat and says, Aap kuch keh rahi thi?
Shehnaz without turning, Voh.. voh.. main.. main!
Sidharth- Piche mudkar baat karien aap!
Shehnaz glared at both of the twins who were snickering at her and slowly turns and looks down.
Sidharth- Humne mana kiya tha na aapko bhagne se? Aur aap kisko darne ki baat kar rahi thi?
Shehnaz- Voh bhaijaan main voh main- HAAN BIBI JAAN AAP BULA RAHI HAINA MUJHE? MERKO AAGYI AAPKI AAWAZ MERE DIL MEIN! AAAYI!
Shehnaz quickly ran away before Sidharth could say anything.
Sidharth saw her running and a small smile came on his face and he shook his head at her antics.
The twins saw it and said, Pagal haina bhaijaan voh? Ahahaha! Aur bhai kya haal chaal ?
Sidharth glared at them and said, Yaar nahi Hun tumhara main jaao jake padai karo Varna clerk ki naukari dunga!
Both of the twins grumbled but nodded and went away.
Shehnaz closed her door and slapped herself lightly for speaking too much.
Shehnaz quickly completed her assigment which was due tomorrow the whole day including preparing for exams and then decided to do her favourite thing, Painting.
She always wanted to be a painter so she is studying Fine arts.
She quickly changed her outfit into long big pajamas with a loose top and tied her hair into a bun and went down to eat so that she could start her painting.
She quickly came down to sit on the empty chairs because everyone was already done with their dinner and had retired to their rooms.
Shehnaz shouted- KHAN BABAAAA!
An old man with the age of 50 came running towards Shehnaz and said, Aagyi meri pari! Ab jaldi se khana lagata Hun khaalo!
Shehnaz nodded happily and started to scroll through her phone.
She heard two people coming in from the main door she decided to scroll and ignore.
She saw a shadow infront of her and she looked up and happily smiled, ASIM BHAIJAAAN! Kaise hai aap?
Asim smiled and said Bahut ache! Aur aap kaisi hai meri choti picasso?
Shehnaz giggled and said Ekdum perfect ! Aaye baithe Hum khana khane hi jaa rahe they!
Asim smiled and said Main zara muh haath dhokar aata Hun!
The moment Asim went inside her wrist was harshly pulled by someone.
Shehnaz- Ouch kiski itni mazaal ki mere naazuk pyaar Haatho-
She turned and her voice got stuck in her throat, Sidharth was looking at her angrily.
Shehnaz in her mind- Ab kya kardiya maine yaar!!!!!
Sidharth- Yeh kya pehena hai?
Shehnaz fake smiled and said Bhaijaan isse Hum na Kapade bolte hai and English mein clothes and urdu mein-
Sidharth- Bakwas band karo Aur badlo! Baaki mardo ke samne aise kapde pehente hai?
Shehnaz glared at and said, Asim bhaijaan mein mujhe sare type ke kapdo mein dekha hai Aur yeh loose hai!
Sidharth glared harder and said, Kaise Kaise?
Shehnaz- Arrey aise Vaise!
Sidharth - Bakwas Mat karo!
Suddenly khan baba came and said Shehnaz chalo khaalo!
Shehnaz fake smiled at sidharth and took her hand from his and sat down to eat.
Sidharth fisted his hand angrily but sighed and sat down infront of her.
Meanwhile Asim came in and sat down.
They started to eat, when Asim said- Itna late kyun khaa rahi Ho tum!?
Shehnaz- Aapko toh pata hi hai bhaijaan neend kaha aati hai mujhe? Insomniacs ki yehi toh curse hai toh issleye painting baithkar banaungi ek!
Sidharth- Tumhari medicines ka kya scene hai? Usse kuch farak nahi padh raha?
Shehnaz shrugged and said Naah neend dupher mein aa jatti hai but raat mein nahi! Doctor keh rahe they kuch kid trauma scene hai issleye!
Asim and Sidharth stopped eating and saw the girl infront of them so easily talking about her pain but didn't show it on her face. Sidharth held the spoon tightly because he couldn't comfort her like that.
Shehnaz lost her mother when she was 5, and that time her father was busy mourning so he wouldn't come to make her sleep which made her be awake all the night. But the little Sidharth would come and hold her in his arms and cradle her to sleep whenever he could.
Shehnaz shouted, Khan baba aaj toh kamal kardiya aapne! Kya chicken karahi banayi hai uffo main aapko masterchef India mein bhej rahi Hun!
Asim laughed while Sidharth slowly smiled but quickly hid it.
The boys continued to talk about business while Shehnaz was on her phone when it rang.
The boys got quite, both of their heads snapped at the wall clock which showed 11:30pm and then at the phone ringing.
Sidharth snatched the phone from her hand and said Kaun hai yeh baigarat jo itni raat ko call kar raha hai?
Sidharth picked up the call and Meeti said, Hello sexy! How are you my baby? Sun did you-
Sidharth coughed loudly when Meeti said, Shehnaz teri awaz uss Hitler ki tarah Kaise hogyi?
Sidharth- Kyuki vohi Hitler baat kar raha hai!
Shehnaz and Meeti both gasped,
Meeti- Hello awaz nahi aarhi hello? Shehnaz? Shehnaz?
She quickly cut the call while Shehnaz closed her eyes and said Hogya kaand!
Sidharth gave her phone back and said Issko bolo itni raat ko kya baate karni hai insaano ki tarah jaldi kiya kare!
Shehnaz rolled her eyes and said Jo hukum mere aka! Bye people I am going to sleep toodles!
Shehnaz got out and went towards the big room which was specially made for her to paint and keep her paintings.
Shehnaz got inside and wore her apron not to spoil her dress and started to paint.
It was around half an hour when the door opened.
Shehnaz turned back and saw Sidharth standing infront of her.
Sidharth- Yeh tumhari ice cream Asim laya tha!
Shehnaz squealed and said Unke meri taraf se ek jhappi de dejiyega!
Sidharth glared and said Kya?
Shehnaz realised and said Kuch nahi !
Sidharth came closer and said Nahi tumne kuch bola ?
Shehnaz groaned and said maine bola... um maine bola.. Haan maine bola CHAAND SE KI DEKHA HAI KAHI MERE BHAI JAISA HAS- shit I mean SWEET! CHAAND NE KAHA NAAAAHI NAAAAHI NAAAHI!
Sidharth rolled his eyes and said, Filme dekhna kam karo tum!
Shehnaz took the cup and then said Bye !
Sidharth- Huh?
Shehnaz- Aapko sona hoga na?
Sidharth cleared his throat and said Haan but main abhi baithkar dekhunga 10 min ki firse call toh nahi ayega?
Shehnaz nodded and started to paint.
Sidharth sat down on one of the chair and looked at Shehnaz, his Shehnaz.
The girl who had his heart the day she was born and was in the lap of his choti chachi!
A girl with big doe eyes staring at him without blinking. The moment he picked her up in his laps he never felt the sukoon before. Her little pink hands held his finger the whole time as she was sleeping. Nor he wanted to separate from her nor she wanted.
His eyes traced her features softly, looking at her soft nose which had a small mark of blue paint on it. Her hair being tied back making the world to see her beautiful soft swan like neck which made him clench his first and he had to avert his eyes somewhere else.
Suddenly her phone pinged with a message which shone in the room. Sidharth got up and said Who is it?
Shehnaz sighed and said, BHAIJAAN DOMINOS HAI! 50 percent off hai aap kaho toh order kardun?
Sidharth saw it was indeed dominos, his ears turned red in embarrassment he nodded and said, Main jaa raha hu!
Shehnaz nodded and said Goodnight!
All she heard in return was the closing of the door.
Shehnaz muttered to herself, khadoos Hitler.
These babiess!!!!!!!
I was writing this chapter and the moment I switched on my wifi I saw Shehnaz live and boom she was saying byeð!!
God I saw her after so long!!â¤ï¸ð
