Sana sucked in her lip, rolling her tongue when Sid said- What the hell are you doing? I am talking to here and you are licking the air like a snake?
Sana froze mid air with her tongue out and thought wait did I just imagine a kiss while in a conversation? NO WAY!
Sana shook her head and said- A-actually I was doing tongue exercise, so my tongue is- um gets even stronger!
Sid- What ?????
Sana- Um never mind, so wha-what were you saying?
Sid clenched his jaw and said- I'm saying do you wanna get married?
Sana froze with her heart beating suddenly she saw Sid was pushed at the side and 5 boys wearing suits came in holding violins and started playing a dreaaaaaamy song until Sid raised his voice-SANA? WHY ARE YOU SMILING AT THE DEAD RAT LIKE A FOOL?
Sana shockingly looked at the ground where indeed there was a dead rat and she was grinning at it.
Sana- Oh god I am going crazy tonight.
Sid- Yeah I think you need sleep.
Sana nodded and said- I'll see you in the hospital, bye goodnight-
Sid- Should I drop you home?
Sana- Why would you? I have my own car?
Sid shook his head thinking she could never get it.
Sid- Okay then, sit inside the car! I'll send here until you don't leave.
Sana sat inside and final waved at him and said- See you in the hospital!
Sid- Yeah!
as Sana drove off Sid stared and thought was that romantic for people? See you in the hospital?
He shook his head and drove back.
As Sana was removing her heels, her mother called and happily said- How was it? I'm pictures he looked so handsome I wish I was born at your age omg-
Sana rolled her eyes and said- Mom please ew.
Mom- So did you like him?
Sana scoffed in her mind- like? I loved him so much that I could die- Um not die but yeah you guys got the feel no?
Sana- Um this guy is not it! Mom not him.
Mom- WHY? Did you reject him!!!?
Sana sighed in her mind and thought how should I tell mom that I got rejected by him even before this setting !
Next day around lunch Sana was sitting along giggling looking at her phone while nibbling on her carrots when Sid walked in with his tray.
His jaw clenched thinking about her giggling at her phone, he went behind her and peeked and saw her giggling on a rabbit twerking video.
He scrunched his nose in confusion while watching her giggling face.
Just when a nurse came in and said- Doctor Sana, could you come and check a patient? I can't find another interns and all the doctors are on their break- if you-
Sana got up with a big smile and nodded.
She kept her half eaten carrot and took her phone and quickly went to the emergency room.
Sid sighed sadly and sat down, he stared at the half eaten one.. he looked here and there and with a soft blush bit on the part where he could see her bunny teeth.
Just as he was chomping it, he heard a kid's voice who shouted- MOM THIS DOCTOR STOLE A CARROT! CARROT THIEF!
Sid chocked on it and started to cough violently.
Sana- Where's the patient?
Just when she heard a scream- OHHH TERI MAA KA ANCHAL!!!
Sana quickly ran to the voice and saw Rajbir holding his leg while Kushal and Ken are asking him to calm down.
Sana- RAJBIR???
All the boys looked at her with big smiles and said- OH MY GOD! HI DOCTOR SANA?
Sana saw Rajbir who held his wrist with another hand as if it was a toy and waved it.
Sana- Wait did you fracture your wrist?
Rajbir- Erm yeah- OWWWWUUCH!
Sana smacked his head very hard which made him wince more and said- Woah are you really capable of being a doctor? Than curing me you're literally hitting me!
Sana- God ! Sister, help me with this annoying human.
Sana casted his hand and said- Now you can go home! And remember-
Rajbir- I'm not going home today! I'm staying here today! Kushal Ek room book karde!
Sana crossed her arms and said- As if! Yeh koi resort hai kya? Ghar jaao chup chap!
Rajbir pouted and said- Please you know I have a heart condition too and I want to see you work as the cutest doctor here atleast for a day because you literally have no time for us.
Sana rubbed her temples and then went closer to his ear and whispered- I'll tell u a way to stay here but order me some good sushi today I'll eat it in your room.
Rajbir showed her a thumbs up and nodded.
Ken- Guys !!! Very important thing!
He took out a pen and said- Let's scribble.
Everyone laughed and quickly started to write like 1kg potato is=40 rupees, public toilet and all that.
Sana was so happy, though she was tired but she felt so happy around her bestfriends.
Just when she heard a voice- Ms. Gill I have a-
He paused as he saw the familiar boys, the ones who made his heart set on fire watching how close she used to be when she was in school and even now.
Meanwhile the boys stared at Sid with their mouths hung open.
Ken- D-devil head boy?
Rajbir quickly got out of the bed and said- Sana I think you need it more.... He's working with you?
Kushal was on the ground holding his heart.
Sana rolled her eyes at the dramatic reaction of her friends.
Sid- Who's the patient?
All the boys looked at each other and said- Kaun hai?
Sana slapped her forehead internally and forced smiled at Rajbir and said- Stop joking Rajbir and get on the bed.
Sid cocked his eyebrow and said- Why does he needs a room?
Sana gulped and said- He has a heart condition and he felt some kind of internal burns so I thought to monitor him for a day.
Sid didn't believe but nodded anyhow.
Sana was working the whole day endlessly, when she decided to go inside to Rajbir's room and paused when she was inside the room.
Rajbir was on the sofa watching a movie while Kushal was on the bed playing with the heart monitor machine and Ken was trying to use the drip machine as a straw.
Sana- GUYS?
They all froze.
Sana- SUSHI KAHA HAI?
Rajbir- Jaldi aja!!!! It's here we were waiting for you.
Sana clapped her hands and quickly sat on the ground and started to eat Sushi.
Rajbir- So how is it going on with your Loml?
Sana rolled her eyes and sighed.
Sana- Cold as always! Do you think he would even like me?
Ken- Hey! You are perfect for us! You are literally the best.
Sana smiled a little as they all started to talk and cheer her up.
Meanwhile Sid was here checking a patient.
It was a teenage boy who was wearing a prefect batch and had his leg fractured but his face was stone cold.
Sid chuckled looking at him and said- You remind me of me.
The boy looked at him confused and said- Even you got your leg fractured?
Sid- No but you! The way you are staring at the girl who is bawling her eyes out thinking she's the reason you got hurt but you don't seem to care about that.
The boy's ears turned pink and said- W-what do you mean?
Sid chuckled and said- First time class 8th, Prefect batch ceremony.
Young Sid was standing on the stage getting the batch by the principal when his eyes went in the crowd and on a particular girl who had her mouth open as she slept while everyone was watching the function. His face twitched into a little smile but he quickly hid it.
Everyday from then, he would see her jumping around with 3 particular boys.
She never was with girls, not like them sitting in the break talking but would have run competition with the boys.
He would always have that unsettling feeling when he used to see them together.
Class 10th, he remembers her sneaking out of the class when he holds the back of her shirt and said- Where are you going?
The girl turned her face at him and gave him a puppy eye to allow her to go and which almost worked on him because his heart beat watching her soft eyes.
Sid cleared his throat and said- WHATS your name?
The girl grinned and said- Sana
Sana, he whispered to himself.
Before he could say anything else she ran away leaving his heart as a mess.
Everyday from then he would keep his eyes on her, stare at her when she was not watching. Would try to help her even without her knowing.
Brought her lunches and medicines secretly without her knowing. But he used to act so hard infront of her because he was scared of rejection.
She was so perfect, even a lot of guys in the prefect team liked her.
She was so reckless, so cool and so her.
Till the 12th he used to scold her, it was more like an excuse to be around and talk to her.
Secretly he used to giggle at Her pranks like pouring hair oil on a bald sports teacher and said- Grow up to him and when he shouted - WHAT? She innocently said- I meant to your hair!
He used to protect her from teachers and take it on him to punish her but give her the lightest ones.
He knew it was way more deeper than a school crush but he couldn't do anything that time.
The boy looked at him with an amused smile and said- So did you confess now?
Sid shook his head as a no.
The boy- Does she look really pretty? Is she very sweet? How is she like?
Sid- Umm she's like-
Suddenly Sana comes in with her mouth stuffed with sushi and as she walks she trips on the floor but quickly gets up and gives the nurses a awkward smile.
Sid shook his head grinning and said- She's crazy, she's so crazy but I love her.
Suddenly the boy looked at sana and gushed- She's so pretty and cute.
Sid- Hey!!! That's my woman!
Suddenly again Sana was trying to put the drip but her feet got untangled with it and she fell flat on the stomach of the patient of the patient who hissed in pain.
Sana gasped loudly and started to apologise quickly.
The little boy chuckled and said- She?
Sid sighed and said- yeah that's mine.
So we are done with this chapter too! Hehehe!
We are almost near the end! Maybe the next chapter is the last one.
