Suddenly her earphones were pulled by Kushal who was looking at Sana and said- The prefects are coming here. If they see you using your phone right now, you would be a dead meat.
Sana swatted her hands shutting him off but saw one of them coming.. she quickly put it in her pocket.
Two prefects glared at the group looking for mistakes knowing that it's fishy that they don't do anything.
Rajbir glared back while Sana looked boringly at the principal.
Ken- How do you feel?
Sana- Huh?
Ken- Did you hear the senior batch has only few days to come to school after which they would go to college?
Sana froze, bit her lip really hard as her heart dropped in that stomach.
You know that extreme pain in the stomach? Not constipation guys.
Sana gulped and looked around for Sidharth,her eyes searched through thousand faces but couldn't find that face which would make her feel butterflies and nervousness at once.
Just when she heard the voice blaring on the speakers making her whip her head at the stage.
There he stood, with all his glory. His face straight as he looked ahead and talked about the next election of the head boy and the head girl.
Then he said those words which actually broke sana's heart into pieces even after knowing that he would say that one day.
My tenure as the head boy of the school and even a normal boy of this school now comes to an end. It was a great experience, this school gave me so much.. gave me something so precious ( his eyes landed on Sana who was looking down not wanting to see his face unknown with the fact that he looked at her)
The school, the teachers, the students were so great and we made so many memories.!
I really wish that one day we all meet in our real life after this school and connect back again.

The assembly roared with claps but Sana was holding in her tears. The idea of her one sided crush leaving forever and her never going to see him again in school hurted her, a lot.
Kushal- Was I wrong or blind but while speaking was sid looking at our monkey?
Rajbir- Hmm even I thought so!
Ken- Sana look up.
Sana looked up with her cheeks puffed out and her eyes filled with tears.
The boys sighed sadly at the little girl and Ken flicked her red nose and said- Don't worry you will meet him again.
Sana- How? When?
Ken- That... is a very good question. Let's go to the lunch area I'll treat-
Sana- I want to be alone for some time then I'll meet you at our adda to do our prank of the week.
Rajbir- But-
Ken held his hand stopping him.
Sana got up and through the tunnels and secret alleys she entered the terrace of the school and sat down on the ground, plugged in her earphones looked up at the sky.
She played some sad songs, trying to get even sadder.
Just when she sniffed and her nostrils were filled with a pungent smell.
She scrunched her nose and got up to look around for the source of the smell.
As she looked around her eyes stopped at one particular figure, very familiar.
Her eyes widened in shock when she saw him holding the cigarette between his lips and closing his eyes while releasing the smoke slowly.
He did look hot but this was so wrong, he looks sad too.. Sana thought.
Not to be caught by him, she quickly turned her way to go when she heard his deep voice say- Stop.
Sana froze with her heart beating fast, she felt him coming to her closer until she felt her back warm and gasped slightly realised that her back was touching his broad chest.
She tried to go further but he grabbed her wrist and pulled her back close to his chest and said- Were you spying on me?
Sana quickly turned back and shouted No no no I-
Her eyes widened at the closeness between them, he had bent down listening to her words and their nose were touching.
She gulped loudly and said- I- I was listening to songs and I smelt something weird so I- I am sorry I shouldn't have.
Sid- That's very unlikely of you.. to apologise! Why suddenly?
Sana- B-because I should be nice to the seniors.
He softly smirked getting even closer to her face making her face as red as a tomato and said- so I'm just a senior?
Sana- Um no- No also our head boy?
Sid- That's it?
Sana innocently looked at him with her brows furrowed in confusion and said- Aah- yeah?
Sid's heart beat at her innocent face which made him want to do so many things.
But he controlled himself and said- Ohkay I'll believe you.
Sana nodded and said- I- I have to go my friends are waiting for me.
Sid clenched his jaw and said- Is it very important?
Before Sana could answer he grabbed her chin softly making her gasp again.
Sid- What are you eating?
He looked at her as if like a mother asking a child, she very innocently opened her mouth showing the cotton candy flavoured cheering gum rolling on her pink soft mouth making him gulp.
Sana- You know, you shouldn't smoke. If you feel like smoking.. have these it would calm you down. Works like magic to me.
Sid- Give me one then?
Sana pouted and said- I don't have any with me today.
Sid- I am going in few days.
Sana looked at him and nodded sadly and whispered- I know.
Sid- Would you miss me?
Sana looked up in shock but quickly said- Yes.. I mean-I would miss your scolding.
Sid- Hmmm!
He smiled at her while Sana had the worlds most craziest idea when she saw him smiling.
She did the most shocking thing, she pulled his collar and placed her lips at him making both of them widen their eyes in shock.
Their hearts hammering in their chest wanting to come out.
Sid softly pushed her apart making her heart break into a million pieces.
She never felt so horrible but he softly patted her head and said- Don't do it okay? This is not right. And don't you do it with any guy until you're thirty okay?
Sana just stared at him with no words but then her eyes filled in her eyes realising he would be going.
She still remembers that day when she was new in school and she was so nervous that she puked in the ground, everyone ran away from her but this boy came to her giving her his water bottle and hanky. He made her wash her face and patted her head softly with a smile. From that moment that epic crush started.
Even though they didn't used to talk much at school, but the satisfaction of seeing him everyday was something else. Knowing that he was under the same roof was something else.
But now it was all different, along with the fact he rejected her so subtly.
Sana now just wanted to drown and kill herself.
Sana- I- I have to go.
Sid nodded and as she turned back he said- I am going to be a doctor.
Sana looked at him confused.
Sid- I am just telling you that I am going to be a doctor and being a doctor is a really good thing. You save lives!
Sana didn't understand a word but nodded.
She ran off with sadness and yet happiness in her heart while Sid touched his lips softly feeling the tingly cottony feeling on his lips.
He smiled and covered his face to hide up his blush.
Cut- cut - cut- Yo yo guys! So you guys got the gist right?
( the recent Sana spoke)
Sana gulped with the fact that she had that embarrassing kiss where she got rejected or even worse like Kushal said- Got sisterzoned weirddly.
Her thoughts were broken when she heard his deep voice ring again.
Sid- I would expect you to give your best because only one or two would stay.
If I see anyone slack off I'll kick them out in a moment.
Now, you all introduce yourself!
Sana thought shit fuck no no!
She was sweating as she heard everyone talk about themselves.
Then the dreaded moment came in, his eyes landed on hers as he said- Please introduce yourself.
His voice after years.
Sana gulped and without looking said- Um my name is Maria- I like dead bodies- no shit I mean I like healing people- I-
Sid cocked his eyebrow and said- You're name in the badge is Sana?
Sana chuckled nervously and said- Ha ha ha jokes ! August fools! I was just pranking. I- I am Sana.
Sid looked at her with a bored expression and said- Next time if you joke you would be out. Let's start with the internship, I'll divide you in the team of two and would be shifting you guys from ward to ward.
Sid- Sana and Rahil you guys would be in the blood bank ward today.
Both of them nodded.
Sana looked at his indifferent face and thought maybe he doesn't remembers me. Ofcourse he wouldn't! I was a random girl in the school, I wasn't that special.! That's good I can act normally then.
They all quickly went out, Sana who felt his eyes on her back nervously started to walk out when her leg banged up with the table next to her and she winced in pain holding her leg and whispered some profanities and walked out limping.
Sid chuckled softly and said- She can never change.
Okay! Very late at night it's almost 3am ! My eyes are burning but I wanted to really write it out.
Omf this bold Sana!!!! But why did Sid push her away?
And now what will happen if they are now in the same workplace?
Only one word, chaos. Ehehe!
