Sid looked at sana gravely and sighed.
Sid- We have to get out of here!
Sana- But Sid can't leave Asim or Meeti or even Ken!
Sid- We don't even know who the zombie is! We can't take the risk!
Sana and Sid had their hearts in their mouth knowing that there's an imposter among them.
Suddenly Ken said- S-stop I need to pee!
Asim groaned and said- Are you serious?
Ken- I- I can't control it.
Sid-Â fine! Let's all stand outside while he pees.
Ken rubbed his palms as he got out and gave a look at sana and Sid.
He smiled at Sid as he walked backwards and said- I'll miss you brother.
Sid's face scrunched in confusion as he said- What do you mean?
Ken smiled at sana and said- I surely intially hated your guts but now I really liked you. You're a ball of fire and I really wished we might have met earlier we would have been great friends!
Sana- WHATS wrong?
Ken gripped his gun tightly and said- I am going on my own! I can't be in here!
Before anyone could say anything, Ken ran in the forest making them look at his vanishing figure in shock.
Sana- Did he really?
Sid- Something feels fishy!
Asim nodded.
Sid- There's a school nearby, let's hide in there for the night.
They all got in and drove to the school, Sid got inside to check if there are any zombies but there were none. He sighed and asked everyone to follow.
Asim chuckled looking at the board and Said- Sid remember when we used to draw dicks on the board before the math teacher and he really thought it was some graph?
Sid laughed and said- Yeah!
Sana and Meeti looked at them with amusement and said- What kind of kids were you in school?
Asim- Ohh totally naughty! We used to give tapli on the head of our bald sports sir and used to shout GOAL HAI GOAL HAI!
Everyone laughed at it shaking their head.
Meeti- Even we had the best moments! Sana remember when we first met each other?
Sana- In the cradle? Sure!
Meeti chuckled and said- No ! I know we logically first met in the cradles but when in class 1st you joined my class and you stole my Mickey Mouse pencil?
Sid gasped dramatically and said- I knew it you are a thief! She stole my heart too!!!!
Asim and Meeti cringed and said- EWW SID!
Sana blushed a little and hit him on his arm playfully.
Meeti scrunched her nose in disgust and looked at Asim who had the same expression.
Sana- also I didn't steal your Mickey Mouse pencil because I liked it, it was because you were showing it off way too much! I threw it!
Meeti rolled her eyes playfully and said- Whatever !
Suddenly Sana's stomach grumbled and everyone looked at her, her face got red and she said- W-what?
Suddenly Sid's grumbled too and everyone started to laugh.
Sid- I guess we have some chips and some left over food in the car. Let me get it!
Sana nodded and said- I'll follow you.
Asim- Don't go Sid!!!! I'll miss you!!!
Sid chuckled and said- Stop being so dramatic!
Asim pouted and said- you know tha I'm your first crush right?
Sana - What????
Sid rolled his eyes and said- He had very long hair in KG, and he was so fair that I mistook him as a girl!
Meeti and Sana burst out laughing while Sid rubbed the back of his nape in embarrassment.
Asim gave him a kissy face and said- you will leave your baby here?
Sid growled and held Sana's hand and dragged her outside leaving Asim a laughing mess.
Sid and Sana took the snacks and stood infront of the car gazing at the stars.
Sid- We should go-
Sana- One minute I want to see the stars! It's been so long since I have stared at it. I remember this happening in covid, when everyone was locked inside the house and just saw it from inside. Why did the humans have to do this zombie thing again? Why?
Sana looked at Sid who somewhat looked... guilty?
Sid kept a hand on her shoulder and said- It will all be Alright I have a plan in my mind which will save us all!
Sana- You do?
Sid- Trust me and just be with me! I have been without you enough, I can't do it anymore.
Sana sighed painfully and then nodded.
Sid grabbed her chin softly and placed a big peck on her lip.
Sana smiled in the kiss and said- Come they might be hungry!
Sid placed another kiss and said- God there's some glue stuck- I can't- can't get it out !
Sana giggled as Sid placed multiple pecks on her lips.
Sana- Let's go!!!!!
Sid smiled and nodded.
As they walked inside smiling holding the food items, Sana's eyes fell on the scene in front of her eyes and her smile dropped and her heart beat loudly.
Sid looked at her expression and when he saw where she was looking, his blood ran cold.
There was Meeti holding a lifeless Asim in her lap as the blood was dripping off her mouth as she bit him with satisfaction.
Both of them couldn't process what happened.
Meeti's eyes landed on them and she sighed.
Sana- W-w-what is this Meeti? A-are you a -zombie?
Meeti- Well duh? I was confused wether I should have Sid or Asim. But this fool looked more appetising !
Sid- WHY???
Meeti- Because I was HUNGRY! Because of your stupid lockdown plan I couldn't get out to eat or hunt! And then oh I love to eat weak people! This guy had his head on my shoulder as he smiled telling about your and his school talks! God I was bored and also hungry! I remember the last look on his face, with was confusion. But his eyes showed me betrayal as if I betrayed his soul or some shit ! When we have just meet few days ago! Stupid!
Sid looked at his lifeless bestfriend and slowly let out his tears. Don't gooooo sid! I'll miss you! I am your first crush nooo!!!
Sid slowly walked towards his body and kept his hand on Asim's hair as he cried and said- he was my brother! My strength! He was-was my everything!
Sid caressed his hair and said- I wish wakes up ! He has done this play with me so many times- that he faked his death! Please wake up!!!!!!
Sana sobbed as even she got so close to the man!
Sana- why???? Meeti this is not right! How-?
Meeti- I was hungry Sana! Didn't you get your chips!? I wanted to come for you, look for you! But in the way I got bit by a mutant and even though I didn't want.. I - I just turned into this!
Sana cried just when Meeti grabbed Sid by the back and held him in a way that her face was near his neck.
Sana screamed- NOOO FUCK NO! Meeti what are you doing?
Meeti- Sana I'm hungry! Ill just eat him and you know I would never ever eat you! NEVER! As I'm a zombie no zombie would get attracted and I can fight for you! We will be together, look for humans and get out of this city.
Sana looked at her in disbelief and said- No- no Meeti I love him! Please don't.
Meeti- Sana you were the one who told me that men aren't constant ! It's us! US!
Sana gulped as she saw Meeti going forward towards his neck and her eyes clashed with Sid who was of pain and hurt.
She closed her eyes for a second and in a swift took out her gun and shot Meeti in the head.
Meeti looked at sana with hurt in betrayal as sid ran towards her and held her jelly body in his arms as she dropped the gun in a daze.
All the flashes ran through her mind!
Meeti we will be forever okay?
Men and all are temporary, this- us is permanent!
We will never leave each other I promise!
Sana even if we have this zombie apocalypse, you know we will just be zombies but never leave each other!
Meeti you know I want my children to like you the way I do! You are going to be a great aunt!
Sana, I want to be with you until your hair turns grey and you have more lines than in geometry!

Betrayal and hurt.
Sana sobbed loudly and said- Sid! I- I killed her! I killed her!
Sid shushed her and said- You did what was right! She would have killed everyone !
Sana- But- She was my- my forever!
Sid- SO WAS HE!!!!!
Sana looked at him at his sudden voice raise.
He rubbed his face angrily in pain and said- he wasn't supposed to go like this! He was supposed to annoy me for the rest of my life!
Suddenly they heard a lot of gurgling sounds.
Sid- SHIT!!!! The gun shot attracted the zombies, and it's night! We have to run! Grab your guns!
Sana looked at Meeti's and Asim's lifeless body with pain and sobbed as Sid dragged her out!
They saw a trope of zombies and Sid in panic said- We can't take the car we need to run to the woods.
He held her hand and they ran.
Both of their hearts in pain and their mind in a Frenzy.
Everything was too much to take in.
Sana- how will we survive ?
Sid- We need to go back to my office! I- I have a solution.
Sana- What solution?
Sid- I need to make a call if it works we would be airlifted.
Sana- how will you?
Sid- We have a special device!
Sana- Wait, first tell me what was in that room?
Sid froze and looked down.
Sana- WHAT WAS IN THAT ROOM TELL ME NOW?
Sid- it- it was actually the laboratory from where the zombie virus was leaked.......
Okay okay! What? Meeti yaaar!
Asim!!!!
