one time you're all in

and then you're out of it.

let's play chess,

make me guess

your next move -

you want to keep playing,

but only as long as you don't lose.

laying down my cards,

there's no time left to restart

we're set up to a bad ending.

one last game?

'cause maybe then you'll see

that you can't deny what used to be,

so stop the defending.
