Chapter 2: guitar strings

bloodredroses | poetryWords: 1205

a guitar string

holding onto me

like 5 years past -

pass the time

read between the lines

overlooked some lies.

the drum that's still my heartbeat

a little mad season

it's been a while,

back to the temple

where the sun is mine,

where the moon is glued to a picture of heaven.

like Chris Cornell said:

'no one sings like you anymore'

and really no one does.

I remember how I used to be before

guess I'll take the pieces back -

I'm really back in black,

with a flower crown

and it sounds like Woodstock.

heaven send hell away,

hello heaven.
