Chapter 24: Chapter 21

‘’So, what’s next. Not handing in your homework?’’ She tries.

I grin. ‘’Maybe I’ll decapitate you and stick your head on a wooden pole outside my house to scare off unwanted visitors like your lost herd behind you.’’ I walk off not bothering with her.

She squeaks like a mouse and storms off with her ducklings.

I look at Dylan and say ‘’don’t worry, I’m back to normal.’’

I smirk and walk off.

Chapter 21:

~ Cleo’s Pov ~

I walk towards the exit of the school. What an eventful day. I used my powers to clean up the school and the headmaster was thankful for that. I explained what happened and he was fine with it, obviously.  (He didn’t exactly know what I was talking about and he would forget as soon as he goes through the doors of the school.) He was still shaken up from my rampage.

I was about to push open the door when ‘’Oi!’’ I turn around.

Miss Pateman is there with Mr Richardson.

‘’I gave you one day. Now speak.’’ Crap. I forgot about this. I mindlink Dylan to come her quick. He gets here within a flash.

‘’What’s he gonna do?’’ She laughs.

As we are by the exit, a crowed starts to gather around us. Students multiply in numbers.

I start to speak but I don’t get there in time. Miss Pateman had already pulled out a gun and aimed it at Dylan.

‘’Say that you didn’t do it or your future husband is dead.’’

The words dry up in my throat. I feel tears start to prickle in my eyes. I shake my head dramatically.

‘’I don’t mean any harm! Don’t touch him please!’’ I beg her.

‘’Murderer!’’ Miss Pateman shouts and shoots the gun. But not at Dylan.

At me.

~ Dylan’s Pov ~

Before I even realised what was happening, Miss Pateman shoots the gun at Cleo!

Time just seems to slow down. But I then realise that Cleo was doing this. She had slowed the silver bullet down until it just stopped, right in front of her finger. OMG.

Then, I hear ‘Showtime’ in my head. I stifle a laugh.

Cleo’s face just turned pale. What once was a tanned, non-blemished skin was now chalk white. I knew now that her vampire was in control. Her eyes turned blood red as she licked her lips seductively.

I heard Jordan gulp. Ha. He should be scared. His girlfriend just pissed off the most powerful being on the planet.

Cleo caught the bullet and crushed it in her hand. Then she opened her mouth to reveal her sharp fangs that were at least 2 inches long! She hisses.

‘’No one, and I mean no one tries to touch my mate or tries to kill me. You hurt my friends. My mate. My future. And for that, you will pay.’’ She demands.

‘’What you and what army? We are two, and if I’m not mistaken you are one. Who are you to dare challenge me? You are some lowlife scum vampire that was probably turned last year and keeps on killing innocent girls.’’

I look to the floor at this as that was all my fault. I had killed them.

That was when Cleo got proper angry. She flicked her wrist and Jordan flew across the hallway into some lockers. He spat out blood as a huge dent was created in the metal doors. His body slumped to the ground.

‘’How do you like your loved one being killed? Hmm?’’

Miss Pateman’s face was shocked. Her eyes were bulging out of their sockets and her jaw had hit the floor.

‘’B…but…but y…you don’t have the power to do that! Only…’’ She gulped terrified of Cleo.

Cleo smirked. ‘’You have no idea what I am capable of!’’ She warned. She pointed at Jordan and clicked her fingers. He woke up.

He looked around, saw Cleo and jumped back. ‘’M…my l…love, get away from her…’’ I think he has realised who Cleo is…

‘’S…she is the… the daughter of Emily and T…Tatum.’’ He stuttered. He took slow and steady paces away from me and my mate.

‘’D…don’t hurt us your honour…W…we only thought you were the rogue who were hurting the i…innocent.’’ He shakily dropped to the floor

I gulped. Now my pack know who she is. And will know what that makes me. And they might hate me for it because they hate the dictator that rules wolves until the ‘one with royal blood’ is found.

‘’Wait!’’ Alana shouts. ‘’What do you mean ‘you honour’? Is she a judge? And who is Emily and Tatum? Cleo told me her parents are dead.’’

Miss Pateman snorted. ‘’Their dead alright. Their vampires you idiot. And I’m not falling for this act. There is no way that you,’’ she points to Cleo ‘’are the Queen of all Supernatural!’’

Everyone gasps. And starts whispering all around us.

‘’That’s where you’re wrong’’ Cleo denies. ‘’You shall never speak of the former King and Queen like that. You shall be punished! Say goodbye.’’

Miss Pateman looks confused. ‘’To who? Why?’’

I point to Jordan and she turns around.

And then she notices that Jordan is on his knees, begging for mercy as Cleo traps him on his front, with vines coming out the floor.

She raises her arms in a circular motion and the thorn-covered vines wrap around his body as he screams in anguish.

Then Cleo clicked her fingers. His body was set alight. His screams shook the building as his body burned away in bright blue flames before our very eyes.

Cleo let go and let her true colours show. She turned into all of her forms at once.

Her hair turned black with blonde highlights, her fingernails grew into talons and her eyes turned gold. She blew at Miss Pateman harshly.

There was nothing for Miss Pateman to grip onto so she just flew back. She tried fighting it but it was no use. Cleo is the Queen hybrid. No one can defeat her.

Miss Pateman fell and tumbled to her fate. She rolled over backwards towards Jordan who was still in flames.

Cleo flicked her wrist once more as vines shot out and grabbed Miss Pateman. Cleo clicked her fingers and Miss Pateman was on fire in a flash, just like Jordan.

Ouch. Note to self. Don’t mess with my mate. It won’t end well.

The smoke alarms went off and people screamed out in terror. Cleo had blown the fire as well as Miss Pateman and it spread around the school.

The school’s burning down! And we are stuck indoors!

We are nearing the end of this first draft of my book! Boo!!! - ikr?

The real copy should be up and posted by the summer, probably in August. I have exams and then i go away so i wont be able to post it until then, but im in the process of retyping now!
