LUBANZI
Chapter 36

They say when the royals summon you, you obey not always though. In my case I just happen to be curious to meet the royals because I've never met them before.
"Are you ready?" Banzi asked. He was wearing a blue suit and I must say he looks handsome.
"Damn, you're looking yummy. If I haven't given birth two weeks ago,I would throw myself at you."
"I'm all yours." He winked.
"I'm going to get the kids." I went to the nursery. The babies already took a bath so I changed their clothes.
Last week Nthabiseng's sister brought Ntsiko back at the Dalindyebo's mansion then Banzi went to fetch him. I must say taking care of two babies is not a child's play but Ntsiko is so behaving. He's cute and he smiles a lot. He's peaceful, everything Serenity is not. This girl is always screaming her tiny lungs out.
"Let's go." Banzi walked inside the nursery. He picked his daughter and I picked my son and their bags.
We went to the car and put them both on their respectful car seats before Banzi started driving.
You remember the suprise he had for me? It was a brand new car. Like really? I screamed though because nobody ever bought me a car. I even can't wait to drive it around plus it's a Mercedes Benz. I told him, that I didn't want him to be in a lot of debts but he assured me he's still okay financially plus he sold the penthouse. I guess the club brings him more money that I thought.
We finally reached this huge house or was it a palace? The guards wouldn't let us in so I called doctor Anokosha and he came within a blink of an eye.
"Hey,the Dalindyebos. Welcome to the palace. Dinner was supposed to be at my house until my dad summoned me here. So I decided to let you tag along. Just know that it's a whole family, cousins and cousins. Children running around. It's a mess." I laughed at the doctor's silliness.
"Don't you have children? You seem to not like them." I asked him.
"I have children, two boys who are also twins. They are two years old."
"I can't wait to meet them."
"That's if you meet them. They are always running around. Anyway drive in, I'll follow after you." Banzi drove in.
"This doctor of yours is a clown." Banzi commented.
"Babe, he's a prince. We are at his palace. Let's behave."
"Fine." We both got out and took the babies. I took Serenity who was already sleeping.
"Let's go in." Lindelani said.
"Uhm before we go in,is there a room where I can put my baby to sleep?"
"Yeah sure. There's a big nursery with different babies in. They are looked after their nannies." We were both following him in.
The infrastructure of this place was amazing. It indeed looked like a palace with many rooms and passages. We could hear laughter as we neared.
"Who designed this palace?" I asked Lindelani.
"My mom."
"Really? Wow, she's good at her stuff. I would like to meet her."
"You have to die first."
"What?" I'm confused.
"She's dead." He said it with a smile as if he wasn't talking about death.
"Oh I'm sorry."
"Don't be. She died when I was your daughter's age." That means his mother died when he was still a baby. That's sad.
"But we have another mother,so it's not a bother. Ah,we are here. Nancy, can you please take the baby to the nursery?" We were infront of a door and we bumped into a maid.
"Yes my prince." I gave her the baby and she left with her.
"Let's go in." He opened the door and we walked in. It was a fancy lounge with a lots of couches filled with people who were now staring at us.
"Oh where's my manners. This is Afeziwe Jali and her fiancee, Lubanzi Dalindyebo." Lindelani introduced us.
"Hi." I greeted while Banzi didn't say anything.
"Oh my gosh. The miracle patient right?" This other lady holding a glass of wine stood up and came to us. She's looking pretty,I must say.
"I'm Bongiwe, his fiancee." He gestured at Lindelani.
"Pleased to meet you."
"Don't be formal, come here." She gave me a hug.
"Come join us and oh take the baby first." I took the baby from Banzi and he left with Lindelani. It was only ladies here.
"Okay, I'll introduce you to everyone. You'll meet others at the dinner table." Bongiwe said.
"Uhm, meet Maira Elephant. She's the princess in this palace,a queen in her own palace and she has two children, both boys. They are playing outside." She pointed at this other lady who looked hella gorgeous. Is she even real? She flashed me a smile. I was still mesmerized by her beauty.
"And this is the queen mother, Rendani Anokosha. Don't be civil with her, just call her Rendi. She's the queen's second wife. She has the most wonderful nine years old daughter. She's outside but the moment she walks in,her presence requires respect." I bowed a little at the presence of the queen mother.
"This is aunt Dakalo. She's the king's sister. She has two children and one of them is the girl next to her, she's Anastasia." I smiled at them and they did the same.
She introduced me again to Vhutshilo and her mother,Phelo. Apparently Phelo used to be Maira's nanny when her mother died. She just got used to her and even considers her a mom. I met again, Takalani who's the wife of Lindelani's twin brother Luvhengo who's a business man.
It was nice meeting the ladies and despite their respective titles they were down to earth. They didn't even mention anything to do with royalty unless I asked.
It was time for dinner and I was happy to meet the entire family. Apparently today is one of those family gathering since schools are opening and they are all going back to their normal lives so they don't want their kids to forget each other. Things like this tend to happen in large families.
I was sitting down next to princess Maira and I must say it's an honour to even bump shoulders with her. I was feeding Serenity her bottle while Ntsiko was sleeping.
Everyone started sitting at the dinner table. From kids to adults. Little kids were brought by their nannies to their parents. I saw Lindelani holding a little boy.
"My childrenâ¦" The King started addressing them. He wasn't that old.
"I'm just happy to see you all here. The Anokosha family has grown and multiplied and it's all thanks to you. We are having our last dinner as family this year so let's make memories and always remember that a united family never breaks down. I won't be there one day but I'll die knowing you all are together."
"Daddy, why are you talking about dying while you're strong as an axe." A young girl in a white dress walked in while fixing her hair. I saw her eyes and kept on staring. Is she blind? Because I've never seen such eyes before.
"Princess, you just had to interrupt my speech?"
"Sorry daddy." She giggled and sat on a chair next to her dad.
The king continued with the speech until he finally finished and sat down. He started feeding the little who also fed her.
"Who's that little girl?" I asked Maira.
"Oh that's Khensani,my little sister."
"Oh."
"She's pretty right? She's the prettiest kid ever born believe me." She smiled looking at her sister. Their relationship looks right.
"Yeah she's pretty." I agreed because it's like she's a real angel.
"Your daughter is cute by the way." Maira said.
"Thank you. Where are your kids?"
"Oh,you see that teenage boy who's on his phone?" She pointed at this other boy with so much hair. Is he mixed perhaps?
"Yeah."
"He's my first born. His name is Christian. Then there's Qwawe." She pointed at a little boy who had a crown on his head. He was frowning.
"He looks sad." I said and Maira laughed.
"Trust me, he's happy. He's just like his father."
I was about to ask where's the father when a man walked in accompanied by guards. He looked intimidating and confident. Not to mention arrogant. It's like he just walked out of a magazine.
"Hubby, you made it." Maira stood up and went to hug the man. He's her husband? He looks cruel while Maira is such an angel.
"Daddy!" Qhawe went to him and he picked him up and tickled him. He was laughing as if he wasn't angry a minute ago.
Dinner with the Anokosha was amazing.
A/N: The Anokoshas are characters in my other novel The Kingâs Mate. I never published it here but hopefully one day I will.
