I'm Back BitchesWords: 11476

Avery's outfit for school. If you don't like it or think it's too much, you can imagine a different outfit ;)

"WAKE UP"

My eyes opened instantly as I immediately sat up, the warm blankets slumping down and the cold enveloped me. "What?" I replied instantly in a panicked tone searching around the room frantically.

Josh stood by my doorway with a cheeky grin. His arms were crossed over his white Tommy shirt and he wore casual grey sweatpants. My brother is in university and is so lucky he doesn't have to go to school anymore.

"School dumb ass" He rolled his eyes at me for forgetting.

I instantly calmed down, thankful that there was no serial killer in the house and plopped back down pulling the sheets over me. "Call me when something important is actually on" I mumbled sighing from the warmth.

I suddenly felt the sheets being ripped from me as my eyes opened angrily. "What the actually fuc-"

My sentence broke off as I became entranced by what my brother was holding.

The love of my life.

Food.

My eyes followed his hand as he grabbed a piece of crispy bacon and popped it into his mouth. I heard the satisfying crunch of the bacon and suddenly my stomach grumbled.

He took small bites as he smiled proudly at himself for getting my attention. "Now when mum said to wake you up I instantly said no but then she told me she wouldn't let me go to Italy. So I thought, how the hell would I successfully get Avery Blue up? Of course it wasn't so hard knowing your addicted to food so I thought why not start eating her food-"

"My food?!" I said in a deadly voice. I swear if it's my breakfast I was going to punch him so hard, push him out of the window and run over him with a truck.

He gave me a deadly grin. "Yeah yours"

He was dead meat. When you mess with my food, you mess with me.

Somehow I had all of the strength in the world as I rolled out of bed and leaped towards him. The fastest I've ever ran in my life and I swear I could see the slightest flash of fear cross his eyes as he moved out of the way and slammed the door behind me. I landed on the ground in a loud thud but that didn't stop me. I used the door handle to get up and tried opening the door. Only I couldn't. I actually started questioning whether the door pushed open instead of pull.

I stopped pushing the door when I heard a chuckle coming from the other side of the door. That little f*cker was holding the door. And since he goes to the gym everyday my strength didn't compare to his the slightest bit.

I rested my ear on the door as I spoke to me in a nice tone. "Josh, would you please so kindly open the door for me?" I asked hoping he would do as told.

I could hear him purposely contemplating the thought out loud before resting on a clear no. "I would suggest you be a good girl and get changed rather quickly before I end up accidentally demolishing your whole breakfast"

I gave up with a loud huff and grabbed a pair of ripped denim jeans, a cropped black long sleeve top and a pair of black boots.

Thank god I decided on my outfit choice the night before, otherwise I'd be here all day choosing an outfit.

Somehow I managed to get ready in a record time of 5 minutes. As I walked out of the bathroom I pulled my hair into a messy bun and settled on a natural look with no makeup.

I followed the smell of bacon as it brought me directly to the kitchen and I sat down at the bar stool next to Josh who smiled innocently.

I gave him a glare before setting my eyes on mum who was humming a song.

Her beautiful brown hair cascaded down her shoulders and outlined her emerald green eyes. Both features I'm thankful to have received.

"Morning sweetie" Mum greeted me placing a smoothie in front of me.

"Morning" I said in a slightly disgusted tone. Just looking at the smoothie made me lose my appetite. It wasn't one of those delicious banana smoothies. The type of healthy smoothie with all of the healthy ingredients. Losing weight was hard, especially when you're a junk food addict like me. For me it was kind of impossible to cut out all of the junk food so it was all about a balanced diet. Eating healthy food and working out whilst still having some treats. Mum thought it was a great idea and wanted to contribute by making smoothie every morning because she wanted to do the same.

Mum gave me a look raising a brow, challenging me. "How about thanks mum?"

I rolled my eyes and replied back in a sarcastic tone. "Thanks mum"

Josh finished whatever the hell he was doing with his phone and stood up, completely disregarding me. "Alright, I'm leaving now"

With my mouth full of food I replied, "vwhat bout me?"

He pretended to think, "Um I don't know, you have a brain and you have legs suited for walking to places"

Where the hell did he get his smart ass attitude from?

I looked to mum for help. It's not my fault I don't have a car and for some reason mum and Josh don't trust me to drive their car. I have no idea why, I think it has something to do with the fact I failed my license the first time. But I'm not the only one, I mean it happens to everyone.

And it wasn't my fault I ran a red light. I mean it wasn't exactly a red light, I swear on my life it was amber. But the old grouchy man instantly failed me. For some odd reason he hated my guts.

I tried again and I did get my license so I'm perfectly capable to drive around in a car by myself. But every time I show Josh and Mum my license they both look at me like it's a fake.

I was brought out of my daze as Josh spoke to me about to leave the house. "Ave if you don't come in the next minute I'm leaving without you" and with that, he shut the door behind him.

I contemplated the thought. I mean option one is to continue eating my food and then walk to school and be late. And option two was to leave the food and catch a ride to school.

I mean the last time I went to school on an empty stomach was really embarrassing. My stomach wouldn't stop grumbling the whole lesson and people kept staring at me when I coughed to cover the sound. Trust me, it's a real life struggle.

But I also can't afford to be late for school, it's the first day and I'm hoping to not get into any trouble.

I quickly grabbed the piece of toast with eggs on it, piling the pieces of bacon on top, and grabbed my bag before running like a maniac to the car.

"Bye mum" I yelled out, slipping on my shoes.

"Don't make any mess, I just vacuumed!" I heard her yell out.

I rolled my eyes and ran to the car pushing my bag in and sitting down. Somehow the food was in perfect shape.

I sighed in contempt as I popped a piece of bacon in my mouth before my eyes fell on Josh in the drivers seat who was giving me a pointed look.

"What?" I asked innocently continuing to munch on my food.

He pointed towards my food. "Seriously? You're going to get food all over my baby" He sounded angry, no actually he sounded pissed.

"Well it's not my fault you gave me a minute" I fired back. I did have a point, I mean he's not exactly needed anywhere today so why the rush.

"I gave you the choice to either eat your food and walk or leave your food and catch a ride!" he replied in an exasperated tone.

"Well I decided to multitask" I tried justifying.

"You're paying for this car to be cleaned!"

"Am not!"

"Are to!"

As you can tell older brothers just have a thing for arguing with you. Don't get me wrong I love him, but he can be hella annoying.

The rest of the car ride was filled with us two bickering away before we reached school.

I hopped out of the car saying a farewell to him. "Thanks Joshy" and ruffling his hair.

I knew he hated that name, I think it had something to do with his ex but if it annoyed him I'm cool with that. I was satisfied when he clenched his jaw and I shut the door in satisfaction.

I looked around at this dreadful place we call school. Students stood in their small groups talking to each other and mainly on their phone. I took a deep breath. Before this, everyone knew me as the nerdy Avery. And for some reason they all had an issue with that.

Just don't stir up too much trouble, I repeated in my head.

Suddenly a loud honk went off right beside me. Since it was right next to me I got the fright of my life before turning to see the source.

My eyes followed the car that drove off. Josh.

I glared at the car as it drove off, hoping it would cut the car in half, and mainly to calm down my heart rate which was beating a million miles per hour.

I guess I kinda deserved that.

But now I had another issue.

That whole time I wasn't aware that the other students were also alarmed at the sound and was all staring at me. Somehow there was a whole lot of teenagers who were all staring at me.

I looked awkwardly at everyone as I became self-conscious about everything.

Yes it is me Avery Blue. Have a laugh if you want.

For some reason, no one remembered me at all. No one laughed and no one joked around. Instead I heard a few people call me the new girl.

I cleared my throat. "Nothing to see here" I spoke out loud and quickly walked through the pathway where students had piled around. As I did, I couldn't help but look around at the familiar faces. Some girls glared at me, others giving me a warm smile. But my attention turned purely to the guys as some of them were checking me out and I swear I heard one guy whistle. I urged myself to not roll my eyes as I continued walking and got out my phone to check my classes.

I found my locker and started grabbing my books for physics. Only when I shut my locker I got the fright of my life when they was a certain someone leaning by my locker.

Now it wasn't just any guy. It was the one and only Chase Hill, the schools bad boy and well.. my bully. This guys has tormented me for the whole of high school and made my life a living hell. Just looking at him made my blood boil. But I had to stick with the plan, so I covered it with a welcoming and sweet smile.

I could feel him checking me out as I did the same. I took my sweet time looking over his casual jeans and white top all the way to his light brown eyes and hazelnut hair. He only smirked with satisfaction at this. Good, it was working.

Like I thought everyone stopped around us to stare at the situation. For some reason watching what the 'new girl' does is interesting.

"Hey there beautiful, wanna go out sometime?" He asked with a slight smirk.

"With you?" I asked in a sweet voice.

"Sure thing baby girl" be replied.

I faced him, slightly moving closer. "You know what I really want?" I asked in a seductive tone.

"Mhm?" he asked, his eyes filled with lust.

I slowly leaned forward, placing my hands on his chest and leaned towards his mouth. My mouth was inches away from his and he closed his eyes as I smirked with satisfaction. It was working.

Surprising everyone, I lifted my leg and kicked him were the sun don't shine.

Gasps were heard throughout the hall and Chaseinstantly fell to the ground, holding his precious jewels.

"What the fuck?!" Chase yelled kneeling down on both knees.

In a deadly sweet voice I got down to eye level. "Well now you know how it feels when you break a girls heart".

I stood up and walked away.

Everyone looked at me with awe stricken faces and I twirled my body around putting my hand on my hip. "By the way the names Avery Blue" I spoke loudly. Flashes of recognition crossed people's faces but Chase was the most shocked of them all.

I stared at Chase straight in the eyes. "Karma's a bitch" before turning around and continuing my way to physics class.
