When Cain came out of the bathroom we finished the movie and put on one of his favorite cartoons The Amazing World of Gumball. It's one of mine too.
I looked over at the clock and saw that it read 3:00 am. "I better get to bed," I said rising up from the couch and headed to the door.
"Yeah, you should. You should be well rested for tomorrow," I heard Cain say. He rose up from the couch and met me at the door.
"What's tomorrow?"
"You'll find out," he said playfully.
I rolled my eyes," Anyway I had a good time tonight," I told him.
"Me too," he said smiling at me. He leaned down and pecked my lips.
I blushed and turned and opened the door. Before I could walk fully out I was yanked back and next thing I knew I was being thrown on his bed. He picked up a blanket and threw it on me.
"Cain, what are you doing?" I asked laughing and sitting up.
He pushed me back and plopped down beside me, pulling the cover over himself and closing his eyes.
I stared at him, knowing after a while he was going to get annoyed because I was staring at him. All of a sudden he started snoring,"CAIN!"
He popped an eye open,"Yes?"
"What are you doing?"
"What does it look like I'm doing Rose? I'm going to sleep and you should too," he said chuckling.
"Ok," I said lifting up out of the bed only to be pulled back down by his arm.
"Where are you going," he asked.
"To bed, duh Cain. This isn't my room. Now if you'll excuse me, I'll be going," I said lifting back, only to be brought back down once again.
He wrapped his arms around me and put half of his body on top of mine," Go to sleep Rose." He closed his eyes and clapped his hands causing the lights to go off.
"Good night."

Why does it feel like someone is staring at me? I hate when people stare at me. Maybe they'll stop.
Nope, they're not.
I peeked my left eye open to see Cain leaning on one hand staring at me with a smile on his face.
Creepy much?
I turned away from him and tried to go back to sleep, but Cain turned me around. "I see you're not a morning person," he said while laughing.
"No I'm not," I grumbled out.
"It's time to get up," he said poking my face.
"What time is it?"
He turned to look at his clock," 4:30 am."
"REALLY CAIN," I yelled," IT'S ONLY BEEN AN HOUR!"
He started laughing really hard," I know but I got bored, you were sleeping and I had no one to talk to."
"Go to sleep then, I thought that's what you were doing." I said closing my eyes.
"I can't go to sleep until you tell me the truth," he said causing me to open my eyes.
"The truth about?" I asked already knowing his answer.
"The truth about you and Ian, Rose. I know something more is going on between you two. That fear and surprise you had on your face won't get out of my head."
I sat up and looked down at him," If I tell you, you have to help my friend first before you do anything to your brother. Ok promise me."
He sat up and grabbed my hands," I promise."

After I told Cain everything he got up from the bed and started pacing around the room angrily.
"That son of a bitch. My own brother would do something like that, and your not the only one. Who knows how many of the servants he's done that to.
Probably all of them, maybe that's why all of them are afraid of him. I'm going to kill him. Wait until I tell the council.
NO.
I'm not going to tell the council. I'm the king and what I say goes." He sat down on the couch and put his head in his hands.
I got up out of the bed and walked over to him, rubbing his back. "What are you going to do?" I asked.
He turned to look at me," First I'm going to find out where your friend is, then I'm going to deal with my brother.
I can't believe he had the nerve to threaten you with his life if you told me. No wonder you were so scared," he said caressing my face," I'm going to fix everything, Ok."
I nodded not knowing what to say. Hopefully Jahaan is ok. "I better go check on Maya, she's probably wondering where I am. With Ian being in the castle and all. I'll see you later." I got up off the couch and walked to the door.
"No," I heard Cain say," Stay. I don't know if my brother is still in the castle or not and I don't want you out. You can just go lay back down, I'll be there later."
I nodded my head and went to lay back down.
Watch out Ian. Cain is coming for you.

I woke up again but this time Cain wasn't beside me. I sat up and looked around and saw that he wasn't in the room either.
I got up out of the bed and opened the door to the room. I headed to my room to get changed for the day.
When I was walking down the hallway I saw Ian and Cain walking beside each other laughing.
What's so funny?
I hid behind the wall and tried to eavesdrop.
Ugh, it sucks not having enhanced hearing.
I leaned my ear around the corner and their volume increased and they stopped walking," I can't believe she actually told you," Ian said while laughing.
I heard Cain chuckle," Yeah and here I thought that you had that scary vibe down pact. It didn't even take that long for her to tell me the truth.
All she talked about was Jahaan and how he's being held hostage by you."
"Hey don't knock the vibe till you try it brother, and I'm surprised myself. You got farther with her than I ever did.
I mean look at your neck, she pulled a number on you. All I got was a peck her and there. Anyway, about that little friend of hers, he's been dead.
I killed him on the ride here when I first dropped her off. I could never stand him to begin with, always getting smart with me.
Well guess who got the last laugh. I just brought him up to see that scared look on her face, and boy was it nice," Ian said laughing harder than before.
I dropped to the floor. Jahaan is dead?
I heard their footsteps come closer so I got up and ran behind the staircase. "So now what are you going to do with her?" Ian asked Cain.
"I don't know yet. She's probably still in the bed asleep. Let's go and meet mother for breakfast," I heard Cain respond.
When I heard their footsteps get quieter I came out from underneath the staircase and rushed to the room.
Thankfully Maya wasn't in the room so I didn't have to try and explain to her why I was trying to hold in my tears.
I grabbed a duffel bag and stuffed clothes inside of it.
I grabbed some of my makeup and everything else but left enough stuff behind so that they wouldn't know right away that I was gone.
I got changed and grabbed the bag. I opened the door and peeked out to see if anyone was walking around.
When I saw that no one was there, I walked out and up the stairs where I checked again and saw that the coast was clear.
I headed to the garage and went out the garage entrance knowing that there was no patrol there. When I got outside I saw that no one was outside. I guess everyone's on break.
I ran and ran until I couldn't run anymore.
Now just to find out where I am.

I ended up getting picked up by a nice old woman who took me to the nearest town and wished me luck.
She was even nice enough to give me some money because she could tell I needed it. She even told me where I was, which so happened to be somewhere in Europe. (The lady was lost.)
I checked into the nearest motel, ordered some room service, and went to my room. It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. Â I sat on the bed and put my head in my hands.
"What am I going to do now?"
I heard a knock at the door and figured that it was the room service. I went and opened the door and was frozen in shock.......................
