I'M JUST KIDDING!

Epilogue- Yes, I Did.

“Stop.” He whispered and shook his head. I looked at him confused, clutching my shirt tightly.

“W-what’s wrong?” I asked, my voice shaky.

Blake sighed. “If you take your shirt off, I don’t think I’ll be able to stop myself.”

“What if I don’t want you to?”

A small smile formed on his lips as he leaned in to kiss me, his hands on mine to help me get rid of the shirt I’m wearing revealing the lacy black bra I had on. I’m silently thanking my lucky stars I decided to wear this than my flower printed yellow cotton bra I still own since god knows when. He tangled his fingers with my hair, holding my face secure.

“Are you sure about this Bethany?” he asked, placing light kisses on my shoulder. “We don’t have to do this right away.”

And he kissed one spot that made me arch my back. “I’m sure.”

I could feel him smile against my skin as he tracked kisses down to my stomach. He traced the outline of my navel with the tip of his tongue making me squirm beneath him. Then he goes back up to my face, his fingers gracefully working with the buttons to the jeans I’m wearing.

He gripped the waistband and slowly pulled them off me, his lips never leaving mine in the process. Once the jeans were fully off me, I realized how cold the breeze around us was. We were lying down on the tuck bed in the middle of the field under the sky as meteors grazed it like a brush on an empty canvas. But his body kept me warm.

With my eyes still closed, I moved my hands lower until I reach the button and zipper of his own pair of jeans and slowly worked my way until I had them off. We were now only in out undergarments.

“Holy shit.” He sucked in a breath when he laid eyes on me only in my bra and underwear. I blushed and turned my face to the side.

Blake suddenly pulled away only to retrieve a blanket to cover the both of us from the cold wind. He leaned back down and kissed my shoulder.

“Bethany…” he whispered my name against my skin and bit it. I let out an unstoppable groan.

He slipped his hand beneath me and fingered the clasp of my bra before unclasping it in one snap and my bra loosened. My heart started racing at this point. He didn’t move his head and just continued kissing my shoulder as his hands slowly slid the bra straps off my shoulder and off me.

Instinctively, I put my hands up to cover my chest and face away, my face burning up.

“Don’t look at me.” I shook my head, my eyes closed. I’ve never been topless in front of anyone before and this…this is…embarrassing.

“Bethany.” Blake said and held my face. And as if he was able to read my mind, he said, “You have nothing to be ashamed of. You’re beautiful.”

He placed his hands on my arms and gently pried my arms away from my chest exposing me completely. I could feel the cold. I couldn’t bear to open my eyes so I pressed my palms harder against my eyes, as if it would help lessen the embarrassment I felt.

Blake didn’t say anything as he sucked in a breath. I sneaked a peak at Blake to see his reaction. His eyes darkened as his heated gaze raked my entire body.

And we kiss again like we didn’t to let each other go, like it was going to be our last. He slipped my underwear off me and I slipped off his boxers. His eyes darkened again if it was possible as he looked at me.

I felt exposed, vulnerable. I’ve never been this bare in front of anyone, and my insecurities came back to haunt me. But Blake, he didn’t permit that.

He kissed me, everywhere making me writhe underneath his touch.

But before anything else could’ve happen, he pulled away from me with a frustrated look.

“What’s the matter?” I asked when he decided not speak up.

“I...I don’t have any condoms with me.” He sighed and ran a hand through his messy hair.

“It’s fine.” I reassured him.

“It’s not.” He let out an exasperated sigh. “I don’t want to get you pregnant so soon.”

I blushed.

“I’m sorry Bethany but we can’t do this now. It’ll just be irresponsible for me. I don’t want you to undergo something you’re not ready for, something you’re not willing for.”

I smiled at him. I love how he cares for me enough to stop to tell me we didn’t have protection. I love how he’s worried for me. I love how he loves me.

But I won’t say I’m not disappointed because I am. I thought that this was going to be the night I give Blake everything I have.

“What the…” he said, his eyes looking at something and reached for the item behind me and retrieved a silver foil packet with a Post-It note stuck on it I plucked it out.

“Put a ring on her finger before knocking her up. Mom.” I read out loud and immediately I blushed and Blake scowled.

“My mom just won’t leave me alone, will she?” he muttered and tossed the note to the side before ripping the packet open with his teeth.

“Put a ring on her finger before knocking her up?” I echoed and raised a brow.

He grinned at me sheepishly. “Yeah. I sort of got Stephanie pregnant with Allie before we got married…But that wasn’t the reason why we got married. I really love her, it just so happened I uh…got her pregnant.”

“I know how much you love her.” I said with a smile.

“And you know how much I love you.” He smiled.

Blake guided me through the entire thing, taking it slow. We didn’t rush to it. He placed kisses all over my body, exploring me. It’s like he’s adoring, glorying me and the moans that came out of my mouth just encouraged him.

Desire was burning through my blood as he continued kissing every part of me, whispering sensual yet romantic things, occasionally sneaking in ‘I love you’s and ‘You’re beautiful’s.

Once he’s finished with making me wanting him, he positioned himself in between my legs and as if on impulse, I shut my eyes closed and waited for the pain that was bound to come.

“Open your eyes Bethany. Don’t close them.” I heard Blake. I slowly opened my eyes like a little girl watching a horror film, one eye at a time. “I want to look at you.”

I retracted my arms, and wrapped them around his neck as he kissed me.

“This is going to hurt.” He warned.

“I know.” I replied quietly.

“You…you don’t have to do this. I can wait Bethany.” He told me. “I’m not forcing you to. I don’t care if we’re both naked right now. If you don’t want t then just tell me. Don’t force yourself.”

I smiled at him. “I want to.”

“Once we do this, there’s no turning back.” He whispered. “You can’t get it back.”

“I know.” I replied and gave his shoulder a reassuring squeeze. “I want you to have my first.”

He nodded and let out a sigh, closing his eyes. He looked so beautiful, as if angels carved his face with deep set eyes, a gorgeous jawline, a thin upper lip and a full bottom lip. He opened them once again revealing his striking gray eyes.

“This is going to hurt.” He repeated and with that, he plunged into me in one quick thrust.

I gasp out loud and bit onto his shoulder, my nails digging at his back as my entire body stiffened at the incursion and the pain that accompanied it. I couldn’t keep my eyes open and just shut them tight, shaking my head at the pain.

Blake buried his head on my neck, kissing me softly. I was too preoccupied with the sensation below me to feel the ticklish feeling the kisses were sending me.

A few moments later when I didn’t say anything, Blake spoke up.

“Shit. Are you okay?” his voice was tight.

“Yeah.” I breathed out.

I heard him let out a sigh of relief. “Thank heavens.”

I smiled at his reaction and he thrust in me again and I clutch the sheets this time. I don’t want to be the reason why Blake’s back and shoulders is bleeding.

I fell apart a few minutes later and so did he as we cried out each other’s names, sending the both of us into a frenzy under the star lit sky.

I’m not sure what time it was when I woke up. It was still dark outside as I brought the sheet up to cover my naked chest but Blake was already gathering all the pillows and blankets that he could. Was he running?

“Blake?”

“Bethany.”

“What are you doing? Are you leaving me?”

He gave me a faint smile. “Of course not. It’s going to rain and I’m going to transfer these to the barn.”

“It’s going to rain?” I yawned.

“Yes.” He nodded. “You can go in the barn before it starts.”

I nodded and moved towards the edge before I stopped. I felt a little sore in my back, thighs, and especially below my stomach.

“Blake…” I called him. “I-uh-I can’t get down. Can you help me?”

Worry flashed on Blake’s face as he carried me off the truck bed. “What’s wrong? Are you alright?”

I could feel my cheeks burn. “Yeah just... a little… sore.”

Guilt immediately showed on Blake’s face as he scooped me in his arms.

“I can walk.” I stated with a frown.

“I’m sorry.” He apologized, ignoring what I just said. “I’m sorry. I should’ve just…Christ I shouldn’t have…”

“Hey.” I smiled at him with my hand on his face. “You have nothing to say sorry for. You did nothing wrong.”

“I hurt you!” he cried out.

“But it was the best moment of my life.”

He placed me on the bed before quickly running out back to the truck to retrieve the rest of the pillows and just when he closed the door behind him, rain started to pour hard outside. Talk about luck.

Blake snuggled comfortable beside me under the blanket, softly kissing me.

And even though I felt a little sore, round two followed next.

Eight Months Later

“I have to see him!” I cried out, pacing around the room. “I have to!”

“No, you don’t.” Reese told me with crossed arms. “You’re just overreacting.”

“I’m not!” I raised my arms up in exasperation. “What if he’s not feeling fine? What if something’s wrong? If I don’t see him, I would never know! Something might happen to him and-”

“Shut up.” My sister snapped. “Nothing will go wrong.”

“Something already did! I was puking an hour ago and had to redo my make up! I think I’m coming up with a fever or diarrhea.”

“You’re just nervous. You puke when you’re extremely nervous, ask mom.”

“He might change his might and run for the hills!”

“Well he’s marrying you for Christ’s sake. Of course he’ll be running for the hills.” She rolled her eyes.

“You’re not helping!”

“It’s bad luck for the groom to see the bride in her wedding gown before the wedding.”

“Can I at least talk to him?” I pleaded my sister who finally gave in with a sigh.

“Fine.”

“Thank you!”

“But,” Reese said and pointed a finger at me. “You are also not allowed to see him, to be fair on Blake’s side.”

“Can I kiss him?”

“No.”

I frowned. “Can I hold his hand?”

“No.”

“Seriously?”

“You can.” She said and started scrolling her phone through her contacts list. “Hey Isaac…yeah the bride’s going crazy here…wow they are perfect for each other…Beth wants to see Blake. She’s absolutely horrified that he’ll leave her at the altar or something…yeah sure…just outside of the room. Don’t go in …don’t let him see her…I don’t know that’s your problem…the wedding starts in a thirty minutes! We’ll meet you in five.”

I wiped the sweat that had been forming on my palms on the bottom part of my dress as I tried to calm my breathing.

I was getting married, and in thirty minutes!

Blake had proposed to me last December, during Christmas I may add. He gave me a freaking towel for Christmas, a towel! That’s the gift you give someone when you have no idea what to give them. I asked for a Lamborghini, is that too much to ask?

Just kidding, I only asked for a McDonald’s happy meal because the toy they included was so cute. A. McDonald’s. Happy. Meal. And. I. Got. A. Towel.

He did order a happy meal for delivery and sneakily tossed in the velvet ring box in the meal box. At first I thought McDonald’s one upped their game by including realistic plastic jewelry with a real jewelry box. Boy was I happy.

And I opened the box and realized it was a real ring.

I had three thoughts in my mind. One: McDonald’s sure was rich to give out diamond rings to every happy meal they sold. Two: Maybe this was just a lucky accident for me and I could like sell the ring or something.

The third thought clicked in my head when Blake was down one knee beside me. Three: Is Blake proposing?!

And he was.

So normally, I chucked the box at him and pulled him up to hug him. I think he got a bruise on his shoulder because of it.

Five months later, here I am in my wedding dress panicking.

Reese had been helping me with the wedding. She was my matron of honor after all. She helped me with the food tasting, the venue, the needed people, the dress shopping, everything. She even told me what and what not to do after learning from the mistakes of her own wedding.

Dani, much to her delight, became one of my bridesmaids. Isaac was Blake’s best man.

“Don’t turn around!” Reese scolded me.

She had led me to the front and made me turn my back against the door. She realized that putting a blindfold on me would destroy the makeup I had on.

“I won’t!”

“Bethany?” I heard the familiar voice call my name.

I sucked in a breath. He was still here. He didn’t leave,

“Blake.”

Blake was on the other side of the door and I put my hand on the side, trying to hold him and when I did hold his hand, I let out a sigh of relief.

“Thank God.” I heard him whisper. “You’re still here.”

“Don’t leave me.” I said bluntly, my heart racing. “Please.”

“I’d never.”

I smiled at the bouquet of flowers I was going to be holding on to later in front of me. And I knew he meant what he said.

“I love you Blake”

“I love you Bethany.”

Reese pulled me away from the door, telling me the wedding was about to start and she had to retouch my makeup and hair. As I waited for the time to pass, I couldn’t help but send a quick text to Blake.

“Beth dear.”

I looked up and saw my mom. “Mom!”

“How are you feeling?” she asked with a warm smile. “Feel the jitter?”

“I feel like I’m ready to jump of a helicopter. I don’t know anymore.”

“It’s a normal feeling honey.” Mom said and kissed my cheek. “You’re getting married.”

I’m getting married. The thought had just sunk in head. I’ll be moving in with Blake and Allie. I won’t be Bethany Hamilton anymore.

At least I won’t be The Great Twenty-Four Year Old Bethany Hamilton Who’s Into Celibacy anymore. I’d be The Great Twenty-Four Year Old Bethany Greene Who’s In Love With Blake Greene.

“Beth!” the familiar little girl’s squeal caught my attention.

Allie came running to me in her beautiful dress with a flower crown, looking just like a princess.

“Hey Allie. You look gorgeous.”

“Thank you. Beth?”

“Yes my little princess?” I smiled and picked her up before setting her down on my lap.

“Thank you for being with daddy. He’s happy with you. He loves you, not as much as he loves me but he loves you.”

I couldn’t help but chuckle at the little girl. She wasn’t wrong. If Blake preferred me over his daughter then I wouldn’t be wearing a wedding dress.

“You’re welcome Allie.”  I smiled. I traced the bracelet I had with me. It was a bracelet my mom had given me when I turned twelve. It was a simple charm bracelet. Without wasting another second, I unclasped it and fastened it on her wrist. “It’s yours.”

Her eyes lightened up as she inspected the metal bracelet.

“Beth let’s go!” I heard Reese call from the other room.

I placed Allie back on the ground and held her hand as we went out.

This is it.

Allie said, “Thank you mommy.”

Maybe loving someone wasn’t as bad as I had thought a year ago. It might not be the right person on the first try as love is not as consistent as people think of it.

You never know what you get. Loving someone is a risk in itself. A bargain you can’t leave once you’ve started. You can end up in heaven or in hell. It’s like a rollercoaster ride with an undetermined ending. You never know if you are to expect a ride going up or going down. It can start really good and really bad or the other way around. It might be even terrible from the beginning until the finish.

But if you’re lucky, it might be mind-blowing in both ends.

And I’m proud to say I am one of the lucky ones.

Would Liam be the only boy I love? No, I have Blake now.

Did I let myself fall in love after all these years?

Yes, I did.

THE END.

I was just kidding about ending the last chapter. I guess I scared a considerable amount of you guys. But if you are a fan of my facebook fanpage, you would see I did post saying that the ending was just a joke. Please do fan me. I only have like 49 likes or something.

The nitty gritty part- didn't want to put too much explicit content considering I have readers as young as 12 years old although it feels like i did put too much but wattpad's rating is still PG-13 sa that's cool.

This is the final ending. No joke. There will be no sequel. This is it.

And as for the picture to the side, it's what they look like holding hands before the wedding starts. Kind of hard to describe it but meh. So adorable.

I'm working on a trailer! I'd post it when I'm done.
