Nysilia was looking at Samriel and the other figures near the fracture, they were distant, with their auras being black and clearly visible; by looking at those, she understood one thing, they were strong, so she got close to Dai and Sarah and said
âOk, you two have to go to fuck away nowâ
âUh? Why? We can still fight-â Dai tried to say before being interrupted
âNo, you canât. Both of you are weak compared to them and to make things worse, you are also tired.â
âBut will going away be the safest choice? I mean, they arrived here from who knows where, by opening that weird fracture in the sky and they could do that again just to find us no?â Sarah asked while showing a bit of
âWellâ¦Itâs a bit more complicated than you think but letâs leave that for another time. Iâll take you somewhere else and come too once I finish with those thugs-â Nysiliaâs eyes became wide open in surprise and ordered Dai and Sarah
âGet down!â
Hearing that worried voice, helped them to get the order in their head and do it without questions and they did the right thing because immediately after that, Nysilia created a scythe made out of her blood and tried to slice something behind them, but the weaponâs blade crossed with someone elseâs weapon, a great sword with the silver edges, the centre of the blade(fuller) being completely black and the red hilt.
The impact between the two weapons was so strong it caused Dai and Sarah to be thrown away; when they were both up, they looked at Nysiliaâs opponent and, without too much surprise, it was that Samriel guy, the same one they saw in that memory, with the same mask, but there was just one difference, the hand bearing the sword was bandaged.
His weapon and Nysiliaâs were still crossed and it was emitting enough energy to cause the ground to shake slightly
âThugs uh? You love to call us a lot of things eh, Goddess of Despair?â Samriel said.
âYes, and Iâll continue until youâll stop calling me by that title.â
Both of them jumped back and took quite a distance from each other
âWhy should I? Oh wait, I think I know the reason. You want to be called with your FULL title right, Goddess of Pain, Death, Lies, Curses-â

A blood bullet suddenly passed close to his mask and scratched it and Nysilia was standing there with a finger pointed at him
âOh noâ¦.I missedâ¦â she said with fake delusion âAll your words distracted me a lotâ¦â she sighed âBut I must I sayâ¦it seems you had a lot of free time to come up with such a long title for me and to be fair, Iâm touched. That means you thought a lot about meâ¦do you have a crush on me?â
â...Itâs useless, you already did this in the past.â Samriel answered with indifference.
âWhat do you mean? I just asked something serious and I would like an answer, please?â
âShut up. You are just wasting my time to let the guy and the girl go away through a portalâ¦You already did something similar during the first rebellion in the First World.â he looked at other Zonnikies and five of them disappeared shortly after.
Nysilia looked in the same and didnât look surprised âJust five of them? Do you think Dai and Sarah are that weak?â
Samriel shrugs his shoulders âWeâll see, but now, letâs stop talking. I can sense your blood lust.â
In fact, Nysilia had a huge and wide smile, from ear to ear and had bloody eyes, showing off every bit of craziness she didnât show off until now â....Ahaha. Is that evident? Sorry, but I really want to kill you and dine on your flesh.â
âHere is another good title, Goddess of Cannibalism. But besides that, I wonât taste that good. Did you try eating Arismis?â he asked as he looked around to search for him.
âHe died too quickly to even take a bite.â
That answer seemed to have surprised him since he didnât say something immediately.
âWas he that weak?â
Nysilia simply nodded at that question.
âI see. Well, the next ones will be strongerâ¦and you wonât be able to see them.â
Without saying anything else, the battle started with him appearing directly in front of Nysilia and their blades crossing again but it wasnât some kind of endurance competition this time, multiple sparkles and small shockwaves were caused by the blades crossing again and again. From one side, Samriel was waving that great sword with just one hand like it was a toy, giving powerful attacks every single time and balanced out by heavy movements that could make the ground shake at every step; on the other side, Nysilia was rotating her scythe, which now was double-bladed, with fast and elegant movements, passing the weapon from one hand to the other with ease and moving like almost like she was dancing, which was in total contrast with her personality.
Both of them were fast, almost invisible to a normal human eye but they werenât trying to dodge the opponentâs attack because they had powers that could have quickly turned the battle in their favour but only if the opponent made the wrong move; even if a prolonged battle wouldnât have been good at all, they didnât have any other choice but enduring that fight and wait for the right moment to strike.
The fight continued for almost an hour and as they were running out of patience, they started using the environment to their own advantage, especially the enormous crater near them; Samriel tried to make Nysilia fall in by making her walk back under his heavy hits with the sword, but she was able to overturn the situation by deflecting the last attack and make the sword stick into the ground.
Now, it was her chance, she didnât waste any seconds, went for Samrielâs head and-
