Chapter 6: Chapter 5- It Was Just A Dream

Lily's POV~

The morning after I was stabbed in my dream, Rafael came to Alaric's office, and the same thing happened to him last night.

"This happened to you in a nightmare? Are you sure?" Alaric asked him. "Look I know it sounds crazy but I was studying and then I fell asleep and then I started dreaming about... " "About what?" Hope asks and he stutters "Uh... One of my old foster dads. He was in the library and he had this old belt used to use on me."

"Do you remember anything else?" I ask softly. "Yeah, there was, there this woman there too. She was wearing an-an old black dress and-and a veil." "Lil, did you see the women in your dream last night?" Hope asks and I shake my head. "I don't think so. But being stabbed twice didn't leave me with much room to look around some more before waking up." I reply, and we all sigh.

"And she told me 'you know what I want' but I-" Rafael goes to say something but Hope and I interrupt him. "The urn."

"Sounds like our next monster showed up." Alaric got up and pulled out a book. "You know every culture on earth has legends about creatures that only appear in dreams. A woman in a black dress and a veil, that's pretty specific." and he flips through the pages of the book.

"So does that mean that she can control what goes on in our dreams. Like she can put stuff in our heads right?" Rafael asked. "It's possible" Alaric replies back. I raise my eyebrow. What was he dreaming about that he isn't saying? He shows Raf a picture in the book. "That look familiar?" and he nods.

"Our latest monster is a night hag. A malevolent spirit trapped in the astral plane that can only interact with us, through dreams. In this case, nightmares." MG speaks up with his nerd mind, "So like Freddy Kruger?" I stifle a laugh and Hope nudges me, but I can see the smile ghosting her lips. Alaric replies, "Well in a sense that whatever seems to happen to you in your dreams happens to you in real life, then yes. But the good news is we're safe, so long as we stay awake. Now I've lined up more evacuation shuttles, they should be running all afternoon so please, for those of you who don't want to stay and fight, take advantage of them. All right that's all." and we all get up to leave.

"I take it you're staying?" I ask walking next to Hope to one of our exams. "Huh yeah." I nod my head, figures. "Well you stay, I stay." before she can respond Landon walks up to us. "What about you guys? Any bad dreams?" "Yeah, a guy yelled 'die witch' and then stabbed me twice. You?" I say it as if it was normal. "Uh... Wow... that... sucks... And no, just first-day jitters. Hey, have either of you remembered anything about waking up in that field?" he asks looking between Hope and I, we shake our heads and Hope answers, "No. One problem at a time, okay?"

He nods, "Okay, but can I help with this problem, I can be a research assistant, plus I'm CPR certified and I know a little tia chi." "Thanks, Landon, but we're good. I speed-read, and I'm a black belt. Plus we have powers, you don't, you could get hurt. So go on the shuttle bus to the Lockwood mansion." I say and leave Hope to tell him what I said again, I knew he wouldn't listen to me. But he might listen to her.

I decided to take all my exams this morning to get them over with so I won't have to worry about them later. It's around 4 pm now so I was helping the other witches make a special tea to help people who stayed stay awake. Landon being one of them. Sadly.

"The senior witches have mixed together a special tea to keep you awake. For those of you who chose to stay, for lack of better words, please, does yourself accordingly." Alaric says over the intercom and Hope is wrapping Landon's hand. "I'm gonna get sued. Or hexed at the very least." "Don't be too hard on yourself at my last school the gym teacher was dealing coke under the bleachers." Landon and then Hope yelled at him for moving. "Oh yeah, that only makes me feel marginally better."

"So she kept saying bring it home. What do you think she means by that?" Landon asks the obvious question. "It seems the night hag is going to torment us until we give her the urn and return it Malivore." Alaric says I just look through books. "Okay, but if she's stuck on the astral plane how can she bring it anywhere?" "Well, it also says that she can't affect our physical reality but the welt on Rafael, your hand and Lily bleeding out last night seem to say otherwise. When the information you're getting is from fairy tales and urban legends sometimes the stories get twisted." Alaric says and I switch books.

"Human dragon anyone?" Hope says to give an example. Getting up, I put the book down. "I'm going to the library none of these books are helpful." And I walk out.

Hours. Landon joined me in the library and we've been reading every book and it took hours. "Landon. Go get Alaric and Hope. I found something."

"So Landon and I have been reading literally every book in here, and I found something. The research on the night hag, wasn't wrong. Because it's not a night hag." I say going to the book where I found our actual monster. "It walks like a nat hag and talks like a night hag. And you say it's not a night hag? Then what is it?" Alaric says looking at me.

Turning the book, I show him. "It's an Oneiroi?" Hope asks looking at the book. "It's a black-winged shapeshifting dream demon. It can hurt you in your dreams and access both the astral and physical plane. It disguised itself as a different monster so we wouldn't know how to actually kill it." I say looking at them.

8 pm

"It's a black-winged what?" Kaleb asks looking at us like we're crazy. Hope and I answer at the same time "Shapeshifting dream demon."

"I know it sounds bad but now that we know what it is we can fight it," Hope says and Rafael looks at us like we're crazy, which we kind of are. "How the hell are we supposed to kill a dream demon?!" he almost yells. "Leave that to me. But since I can't fall asleep without compromising the location of the urn is, I need someone else to pull it out of the dream plane and into our waking reality." Hope says looking at us. "See, Freddy Krueger" MG points out smiling. "How do we do that?" Raf asks.

"Well in the movies, you just grab, and pull." I say and MG points at me nodding. "Yeah it's too late to get on the evacuation bus isn't it?" Kaleb asks shaking his head. "No. No one has to stay it has to be your choice." I say looking at them. No one leaves. "I am a founding member of the super squad so, I can't bail." MG says standing up. "Where ever Hope goes, I go. There's no way in hell I'm letting do this by yourself. That's a bad best friend move." I say and Kaleb looks at us like we have three heads. "Y'all gonna get yourselves killed. But if MG stays, I stay. No child left behind."

"In that case... It's naptime" Hope says looking at all of us, and we head to the gym.

"Hey, Lily, are you sure you want to do this? You're going to be seeing your worst nightmares in there and from what you've been through, I can tell it's not going to be pretty." Hope asks pulling me aside. I just nod my head. "Yeah, as I said, we fight this thing together, and if that means having a nightmare, so be it." "Okay. Well in that case, if this goes south I need to get the urn from the Mikaelson safe in the hallway behind the painting of the French Quarter." She says, and kisses my cheek, making me blush a little and smile.

Third Person POV~

Everyone was having different nightmares. Kaleb was in a straight jacket, mussled, being forced to watch a video on how vampires we're evil. MG's nightmare was about him becoming a ripper. Rafael's was about shifting into a werewolf, but with a twist, Hope was there, wanting to date him. Landon's was a room in the school closing in. But Lily's, Lily's was the worst one.

In Lily's Dream-

Lily shot up from the spot she was sleeping on the floor in the gym. So did everyone else, and Hope walked over to her, "Are you okay? Was your nightmare bad?" she asked looking at her friend in concern. Lily shook her head and answered "I uh I don't remember. Did someone pull out the Oneiroi?" she looked around. "Yeah, I did." Raphael said standing up. And Hope vanished.

Lily got up to go find her. Since she's awake she was going to help kill it. Soon, she found Hope in a hallway. "Hope? Did you find it yet?" Lily asked and Hope turned to her shaking her head, "No, but seeing as we're about to fight a dream demon, and you already almost died yesterday, I'm not waiting any longer to do this." Hope said walking over to Lily. "To do wha-" Lily couldn't finish her sentence because Hope pulled her close and kissed her.

Hope pulled away and smiled. "I've been wanting to do that forever." Before Lily could reply, Hope made a face like she was in pain and then fell to the floor. Behind her, Landon was holding her heart in his hand smiling like the joker. Behind Landon was her mom and sisters, tied up in a standing position.

An enraged Lily looked back up at Landon, "Let. My. Family. Go. NOW!" Lily could feel her fangs come out, and the veins under her eyes turn dark along with tears that started falling. Landon laughed. "You were right not to trust me, Lillian.  Because now that everyone else does I can do this. He magically appears behind Lizzie, Josie and Caroline and rips there hearts out, making Lily scream, in pain for them, and in rage.

She speeds over to Landon and holds him against the wall by the neck. He just laughs and turns into a old lady. "Silly child. You really think you can stop me? Look around at your dead family." it says demonically. Lily looks around, Josie, Lizzie, Hope, and Caroline lie there dead. But they aren't the only ones there anymore. Uncle Damon, Aunt Elena, Aunt Bonnie, Uncle Jeremy, Alaric, and Stefan all lay there dead as well. "They're dead. All of them dead. BECAUSE OF YOU. BECAUSE THEY CHOSE TO LOVE YOU!!"

Lily gets thrown across the hallway. Getting up, she realizes. This is a dream. "Show your face!" the old lady takes off her veil. "Your real face!" she yells and the old hag turns into a giant bat thing. "I'm going to fucking kill you," Lily says with tears going down her face. Speeding back to the monster, she tackles it.

End of Lily's dream-

Before she got there, the dream demon was angry, the urn wasn't where Lily's mind said it'd be. "Did I tell Lily the wrong place for the urn? Oops." Hope says before attacking it.

Lily shot up awake screaming. Looking around, everyone shot up awake too, looking at her. Then she felt something wet on her face. She was crying. "I uh, I grabbed the dream demon. It should be here. I'm-I'm gonna go help Hope." she says, before vamp speeding out of the room to where the roof started shaking, Hope came crashing through the door with the demon before Lily got to the door.

Looking at the demon, Lily said, "You're going to wish you killed me in that dream too." Everyone, even the demon looked at her, and her eyes flashed a gold color. Then she attacked it. Tackling it to the ground, Lily ripped it horns off its head making it scream. Then, using its own horns, stabbed it in the neck just to cause it pain, before finally stabbing it in both eyes, killing it and making it disappear.

Standing up, she ran towards Hope, pulling her in a death gripping hug. "It made me think that the dream was real and it killed you." Lily said with tears running down her face. "It killed everyone I've ever cared about." this made Hope hug her harder. Why would it do such awful things to one person? It didn't do that to the others.

Lily's POV~

After the Oneiroi was dead, I went to Alaric's office.  "Uh, ca-can I talk to you?" I asked closing the door. "Yeah sweety, of course. What's wrong?" He asked with a concerned voice as I ran to him and hugged him. He hugged me back right away, and I started to cry again. "I-I'm so sorry I was... S-so mean to you since the necromancer. I was hurting, but it didn't give me a right to treat you like I did. Y-you were hur-hurting too. In my dream, the Oneiroi made me think that I had woken up, and it-it killed Hope, and Lizzie, and Josie and mom, and then it killed you and my dad, and Damon, and Elena and Bonnie and Jeremy too. It said it was my fault because you guys chose to love me. And it made realize that I'm dangerous to people. Maybe you guys shouldn't love me."

Alaric pulled away and held me my shoulders, "Lillian. Estrella. Forbes. Salvatore. We will never stop loving you. No matter what a dream demon said, or did. We're all alive. And your father died because he was a hero. Not because he chose to love you. He was protecting everyone. We will never stop loving you. I will never stop loving you." he says and hugs me again.

I hug him back and say "I love you, daddy." and he kisses the top of my head.

Hope's POV~

After seeing Kaleb, MG and Landon sing a song together, sort of, and giving Ric the urn, I was looking for Lily to make sure she was okay.

She wasn't in her room or the kitchen or the library, so that left one place in the school she'd be. The empty room with the piano I got her. Walking to it, I was right. I could hear music coming from it. I leaned on the door frame listening to the song, I don't think she noticed me yet.

The next morning I was in Ric's office. "And you're sure it glowed again?" I asked looking at the urn. "I sleep with the damn thing under my pillow. It's hard to miss." he answered. "What do you think it's gonna be this time? Hmm. A cyclops. Slender man. Santa?" I ask "Well I think with our luck it's safe to rule out old Saint Nick."

I shake my head. "I don't know. Santa Claus is kinda terrifying if you think about it. Breaks into your home. Sees you when you're sleeping. Not to mention, judge-y." "Hope I need you to focus."

"Look I'm trying. I just wish satan's nightlight would give us some rest. And where's Lily? She usually comes to our little monster talks." I say looking at him. "Yeah and I wish that knife was never at our school, to begin with, but it's not like we can change that now. All we can do is make sure we're not blindsided by another monster waltzing through our doors." He says, and right on cue. The doors to his office open. "Too late. And found Lily." I said watching Josie, Lizzie, and Lily walk in.

"Uh, girls what are you doing here? You're not supposed to get in until tonight?" Alaric asks looking at them. "Mom was able to get us direct into Dulles. Then faxed, emailed and texted you our revised itinerary." Lizzie said glaring at him. "I am so sorry, it's been chaos around here." Josie tried to brighten everything, " It's okay dad, we know you're busy around here. But, Europe was amazing. And seeing mom was really good..." "Jo's covered the bright side. Far less sunny was waiting for you at the terminal only for you to be nowhere to be found!"

"Luckily, mom was smart enough to also text me their itinerary, and thanks to Uncle Damon's birthday present and him taking me to get my license, I got them. But I showed up a bit late, traffic was worse than Google maps said." Lily said smiling a little walking in and giving me a kiss on the cheek. "Morning Hope" and she sat down Alaric's chair.

"In his defense, we've been in crisis mode over here. And Lily picked you up." I say standing and crossing my arms. "Oh, we've heard all about it. Hope got bamboozled by one of the monsters and now only two keys separate the entire supernatural universe from being consumed by, a hell portal. I'm guessing that weird little vase is one of them." Lizzie says dropping her bag to the floor.

"Its an urn actually." I correct her but she sasses back. "I don't care what it is, what I care about is not being welcomed home at the airport and having to wait three hours to get here. Thanks a lot, Hope. Way to ruin life for the rest of us." and Lizzie walks out. Lily raises her arms up and drops them. "I picked you up! And I was only like an hour late!"  but Lizzie is out of earshot already.

"Alright, you. Come with me." Lily says and grabs my hand dragging me out of the room while grabbing the urn. "Where are we going?" I ask looking at her weirdly. "We, are going to spell a barrier around the urn so we know when the next monster is here and it will be trapped, then we're going to have some fun."

Third Person POV~

Lizzie's first wish: I wish Hope had never come to this school

While Josie, Lizzie, and Alaric were training, unknown to them, they had someone watching them.

"Lizzie, go high!" Josie yells, and they both knock Alaric to the ground. "I'm really proud of you guys. Now help your old man up." he says, and they do as he asks. "Yeah, our years of training have really paid off." "So there's like... No one else you'd rather be training with?" Lizzie asks, hoping that he won't say, Hope. "No. Why would there be?" he responds.

"I mean, aside from me, that is. But I'm not allowed to train with humans anymore, seeing as I kind of broke you last time Ric." Lily states, making her presence known the three of them. Lizzie turns to her and confusion overtakes her face.

"Lily... Why are you drinking a blood bag?" she asks, and this makes all three of her family members look at her like she has three heads, and Lily looks hurt, before Lily changes her glance to a glare. "I know it happened like two months ago, Lizzie. And it may have been an accident. But acting like it never happened isn't helping the situation you got us both in." and with that, Lily vamp speeds away.

After the tour, Lizzie and Josie are sitting at one of the couches eating.

"Do you think he'll stay? It's so hard to get anyone to stay." Josie asks, and Lizzie makes a snarky comment as always, "Well if these are the breakfast offerings it's no wonder. Where are the pastries? The Belgian waffles? The smoothie station?" "Right. I'll tell dad to add that to the budget after he pays the gas bill." Josie says in a laughing tone. "Wait... Are we... Poor?" Lizzie asks, not wanting to believe what she just thought of.

"Lizzie, you know how expensive it is to run this place. How hard it is to get benefactors. I mean, Doman Salvatore has been as generous as he can be, but he and Elena have kids of their own that they need to take care of. I'm gonna go check on Lily, after the way you acted earlier she's probably locked herself in her room. And then I'm gonna make sure dad eats, he works so hard." Josie says whilst getting up, but Lizzie grabs her hand. "Jo wait." hearing this, Josie sat back down.

"What um... What... Did... Happen to Lily? Why is she a vampire? She said it was an accident?" Lizzie asks lowly, and Josie gives her a confused look. "Wow, I knew that was awful for both of you but I didn't think the trauma would block your memory."

"What do you mean?" Josie takes a deep breath before explaining, "Lizzie, about two months ago, you were in the kitchen, you were having another episode. Lily and I went to calm you. And when I walked in... I didn't see the knife that was coming towards me..." Lizzie took a deep breath also, "oh my god-" "But Lily did. She was too late to grab it, but she pushed me out of the way. The knife... It pierced her heart and she died... At first we weren't sure she would wake up. It took two days, but she did... No one blames you Lizzie, not even Lily, just... Try not to bring it up okay?"

With that, Josie got up and walked away.

Later, Lizzie was in Alaric's office with him, Lily, and Josie. She had just brought in a giant globe.

"Where did you get this?" "In the archive room." "Um, we don't have an archive room, Liz." Lily states while raising her eyebrows curiously. "Okay well it's more like a storage closet now, but no matter. This is the solution to all our recruiting problems. It's like a locator spell, only it's interactive. The instant a young supernatural is awakened to their powers, this bad boy, lights up." "That's incredible. How did you know how to do this?" "An annoying know-it-all witch I knew in another life created it, so I just copied her spell. Go ahead, give it a spin."

Once Lizzie said that, Lily put a hand on it, and spun it. "There's so many of them" "All waiting for us to come to their rescue daddy." Lizzie replies to her father. "There," Lily and Alaric say at the same time, but pointing at two different parts of the U.S. "The bigger the glow, the more powerful the being." Lizzie claims with a smile. "Then we need to bring these two in immediately." Alaric says with a smile. "Where are they?" Josie asks whilst looking over Lily's shoulder.

"The biggest glow is in... New Orleans. The second biggest is... Here?" Lily states the last part in a confused tone. "Wait, the second glow is here? Who is it?" Lizzie asks, confused as well. "Lily." Josie replies and this makes everyone turn to her which makes Josie explain, "It's Lily. Think about it. She just activated her vampire side two months ago. She's a hybrid now, well, heratic, but they pretty much the same thing in your case. That gives her a lot more power because now that she has to drink blood, it makes her stronger. Now... Seeing as we already have Lily here, looks like we're headed to New Orleans."

When the girls and Alaric walk into Rousseau's, Lily slowed her pace, the smell of blood making on edge. As they stop walking the head of the man playing the trumpet falls on his body. Looking around they see bodies laying everywhere, blood scattered all around them. "Gross." Lizzie sates in a disgusted tone.

Right after she said that, Hope drops another body. "Who the hell are you?" she asks and Lizzie shakes her head. "Uh-uh. Time out genie!" "My name is Hope. And you need to leave unless you want to be dessert... Is she... Okay?" Hope says the last part pointing to a hyperventilating Lily who is trying not to look around.

"I uh, I-I can't be in here." Lily states shakily, looking at them, her vampire face and fangs coming out right before she speeds out of the bar in order to try and stay in control.

"Wait? Hope Mikaelson? I knew your parents. I know where all this darkness comes from. If you just, talk to me, I really think I could help." Alaric tells her, glancing at the door now and then to see if Lily decided to come back in. When Hope agreed to come, they went to the car after she grabbed a few things, and found Lily sitting in the front seat with her headphones in, not even glancing at any of them the entire car ride.

Hope had come to the docks earlier than Alaric had asked, he wanted to train with her. When she walked up to the dock, she saw Lily sitting there, looking at the water. "The mystery girl that left the bar." Hope said, making Lily jump slightly. "Sorry. I didn't mean to scare you. Alaric asked me to come out here to train with him, I'm a little early. I'm Hope." she said holding out her hand, which Lily reluctantly took. "Lily. If you want... I could train with you. I'm a little rusty though, I haven't been able to for two months." Lily replied standing up.

"Why not?" Hope asked as they grabbed bamboo sticks to train with. "I didn't want to hurt my dad or my sisters. I'm still having trouble with the whole blood, hunger, anger part of having my vampire side activated. And when I get angry, my witch side makes it a tad bit... Messy." Lily explains as they start sparring. Hope doesn't say anything, she just smiles at her and begins to ask random questions about her to take her mind off it.

After a while, Lizzie, Josie, and Alaric walk to the docks, and they hear bamboo sticks being hit together, along with laughter. Getting curious, they walk faster and. Once they reach the dock, they see Hope and Lily sparring, and they see them smile and laugh at what the other said. "That's the first time I've seen her genuinely smile and laugh since she turned. Maybe Hope will be good for not only the school, but for your sister too." Alaric says before he walks to them and the three of them spar together.

Lizzie's second wish: I wish there was never a Salvatore School to begin with

When Lizzie opens her eyes, she's in a car with Josie and Alaric as they pull into Mystic Falls High. "Now remember, if anyone starts messing with you just play it cool." "Don't worry. Dad, we know. No magic allowed. Blah blah blah blah." Josie replies, and then Lizzie speaks up, "Public school. Makes sense." Alaric and Josie look at Lizzie questioningly, "Well I hate to sound like a broken record but if you expose your powers-" "We risk becoming a target." Josie finishes his sentence for him.

"All right girls. I'll see you in class." Alric says, but as he's about to get out of the car, Lizzie stops him. "Wait. Why am I in the back seat? And where's Lily?" Josie just rolls her eyes and gets out of the car.

After their history class, Josie drags Lizzie out of the room and starts complaining. Towards the end of the conversation, Lily stops next to them. "And then I'm going to have sex with him." she hears Josie tell Lizzie. "Yeah... That." Lizzie replies. "You're gonna get herpes or something Jo. Conner sleeps with everyone." Lily comments as she opens her locker. "Says the girl who sleeps her way around the school." Josie shoots back. "Um, sorry, I've only slept with two people, and they weren't raging dicks with STDs like Conner." Lily comments before Lizzie interrupts her sisters' spat.

"Lily! Where have you been? And why are you wearing a letterman jacket? Are you dating a jock too!" Lizzie asks frantically, making Lily and Josie look at her weirdly. "I had a soccer game? Which all of you knew... And the letterman is mine, being the soccer captain and all... Are you okay? Are you having an off day because of the whole no-date-to-the-dance thing? Because I don't have one either, though me going stag was optional, but that just means that I can have fun with friends." Lily says as she closes her locker.

Josie reroutes the topic of conversation back to Lizzie, "You promised you wouldn't let me down. Actually do it for a change." and then both, Lily and Josie walk away in different directions.

When they got to the dance, Lily went off when she saw people she knew while Josie and Lizzie continued to speak. "Why would you believe them over me?" she asks Josie. "Because you always do this. Anytime things are going well for me or Lily you have an episode, and you ruin everything just to steal the spotlight. I mean honestly, Lizzie if I believed every paranoid delusion that came out of your mouth I'd be just as crazy as you."

That made Lizzie scoff. "Jo-" "Look I'm sorry. I don't want to hurt your feelings, but I have spent my entire life trying to make you feel okay about yourself. Watched Lily and dad kill themselves trying to do it too. And why do you think he drinks all them time? He hates his job. The only reason he works here is to keep an eye on you. Mom makes any excuse she can to be out of town because seeing him like this makes her sad. He's completely given up. And Lily, Lily basically disowned both of us because she got so tired of trying to help you with your problems that she just gave up on both of us and hides her issues away like they're not there because dad is so worried over you. She doesn't want to talk to any of us because then the attention will be off of you and you'll have a whole other episode so she shut us all out. So I am done making excuses for you. "I'm sorry... But it's for your own good." Lizzie says as she siphons the magic from Alaric's watch. "I hate you." is all Josie says before walking away. Lizzie tries to get her attention but Josie simply ignores her. Then, all the lights burst as Lizzie screams. "What the hell!.  We gotta go. We gotta go now. Lily!" Alaric calls out, knowing that his adopted daughter could hear him.

As the three of them get to the doors, a sports car with Mikaelson M pulls up. As Hope walks up, she speaks, "Looks like you could use some help." "Uh-uh. We are all good." Lizzie states whilst shaking her head. "That M. Mikaelson. Like the boarding school?" Alaric asks, "Kaleb, compel all the students to forget what they've seen. Jed, establish a perimeter, lock the place down. Pedro, call in the chopper." As Hope says this, Lily appears in front of her at vampire speed, dropping dozens of cell phones. "I snagged all their phones. Most of them had videos of what Lizzie did, I took the liberty of deleting them and wiping the phones clean so the video can't be restored." she says as she looks Hope up and down, noticing she's doing the same.

Hope had to admit, Lily was hot. Her profile she had seen in her dad's office didn't do her justice. She was wearing black dress with a deep dip at the cleavage and went down to the mid-thigh, black, and gold heels, curled hair and red lips. This made her raise an eyebrow, and Lily mimicked her movements.

"Uh, I-I said we're good okay? Josie, Lily, and I do not want to be superheroes." Lizzie states as she hugs her twin who just pushes her off. "Yeah, speak for yourself. Lily already is one, so." Josie motioned to the phones that laid in front of them.

"We're not here for you." Hope says to Lizzie and Josie. "We're here for him." she nods her head towards Alaric. "And her." she says as she holds a hand out for Lily to take, which she does with a smirk, and they start walking outside.

"Make yourselves at home." Hope says and they walk into the school, her arm around Lily's waist as they walk. "Wow this place... It's like a dream come true." Alaric states as the walk into the main room.

"Perhaps you have heard, my father had a checkered past. But that all changed once he had me. There wasn't a school he could send someone like me so he built this one. As you can see it's been quite the success. So much so that he's currently overseas setting up our European branch, which is why we're in need of a new headmaster. And as for you, -"

Hope glances down at the blonde in her grip before continuing, "We've been trying to get Alaric to let you go here for years. You're a hybrid, you shouldn't have been at a school full of humans, but Alaric kept saying he wanted to keep an eye on you. Now with him as the new headmaster, you can finally go to the school you belong in." Hope explains, once she does, Lily leaves her grip and walks away, her mind wandering elsewhere.

Using her childhood memory, Lily finds her way in a certain bedroom. She starts looking around at the art supplies scattered around, pictures, and paintings on the walls. As she sits down on the bed, looking at a photo of Hope and Hayley, she hears a voice behind her. "Didn't anyone tell you it's a bit rude to snoop? I mean, if you wanted in my bed you could've just asked."

Lily gives a small laugh before turning to Hope who just sat next to her on the bed. Putting the photo back, Lily responds whilst looking around the room from her spot on the bed. "Sorry, I guess I got curious. This room has changed a lot." once she said this, Lily got up and walked to a spot in the middle of the room. Moving the carpet, she speaks again, "But..." pushed her heel down on a certain panel of the wood flooring, making the other side pop up. "Not as much as I thought it would."

Removing the piece of wood, she kneels down and pulls out a dark red velvet, rectangular box. And a metal box. "I used to hide stuff in the metal box when I was younger, there's nothing in it now, but... My dad had found out where I hid things, and decided to hide something there too." Lily explains as she puts the metal box back and opens the velvet box, revealing a necklace with the Salvatore crest on it, making her smile sadly.

Looking up at Hope, Lily sees that she's confused. Putting the wood panel back and fixing the carpet, Lily went back to her spot on the bed. "This... Used to be my room. Before my dad died, and yours turned it into a school. This necklace-" Lily pauses as she puts the necklace on, "Was supposed to be a birthday present when I turned 16. My dad wanted to make sure it didn't get lost so he hid it where he knew I would find it if he couldn't give it to me. Clearly, he couldn't."

"It's beautiful, though, not as beautiful as the girl wearing it. You're more than welcome to room with me if you'd like. We could have a lot of fun. Get to know each other. I know that I want to know every. Single. Inch. Of. You." Hope responds, sweetly at first, but seductively at the end, and touching Lily's thigh, making them both lean in a little.

Lizzie's third wish: I wish Hope Mikaelson was never born

"Welcome to the resistance. I wish I could say it was on better circumstances... You've got a lot of nerve showing up here." Penelope says as Lizzie, Kaleb, and Jed walk into where the witches are looking at a coffin. When everyone turns around to look at Lizzie, a loud, animalistic growl is heard, making everyone jump a little.

"I am going to rip you to shreds!" Is all Lizzie heard, then she sees Lily being held back by vampires, her eyes glowing a bright golden color, and black veins under her eyes, fangs showing as well, just as she's breaking free of the vampires holds, they speed her away. "Penelope, what's going on?" Lizzie asks lightly, confused by the situation.

"At least you've earned this mental breakdown. Leave. Before I feed you to the vamps. Or your hybrid sister." Penelope states, voice filled with venom. "Please just tell me what's happening." "OUT!" Penelope yells, but Lizzie persists. "Who died? Dad?" she asks as she turns around. "Sweetie, you can't be here." "Why is this world like this?"

"You ran away. I've been worried sick looking for you." Alaric says once they're away from everyone else. "Why would I run?" Lizzie asks, still very confused. "You don't remember what happened? Must be some sort of amnesia triggered by the trauma." "What trauma?" "Doesn't matter now. You're home. Not that we can stay much longer, triads closing in on us every day." he says, avoiding the topic of the loss of his daughter.

"The world knows about vampires?" Lizzie asks, making Alaric look at her. "You've forgotten more than I thought. Klaus Mikaelson lost everything that anchored him to his humanity. So he shut it off two years ago and started a war. Outed supernaturals in the process. And just like that, triad had an ugly, racist platform to stand on and nothings been safe ever since."

"Where's Josie? And why was Lily so pissed at me? Dad? Where is she? What happened to Lily?" Lizzie asks twice after her father looked away. "Josie's dead Elizabeth. The vigil's for her." when he says this, Lizzie starts crying. "No, no-no. She-she can't be... That's not what I wanted-" "I know, I know. But right now you just... Need to get some sleep."

"NO! no-no, I can fix this... I-I can make this whole miserable world go away, Josie's not really dead, I promise okay? I promise. Genie! Genie!-" "Elizabeth, please, please." "That's my last wish. Oh no, I can't take it back. I've ruined everything!" soon after Lizzie said this, Penelope came in and knocked Lizzie out.

Once Lizzie woke up, she found her dad again thanks to the Jinni.

"Oh you're gonna get slaughtered. And it's all my fault." Lizzie states after her dad told her that they're fighting. "No it's my fault. I should never have kept that secret from you." "What secret?" "Your mom and I had been waiting for the right time to tell you a piece of your family history, but... We waited too long." "What family history?"

"There's something that happens to twins into your coven, like you and Josie. When they turn 22, the Gemini must merge." "Merge?" "Its a battle of will. Only the strongest of the two would survive it." "So... One of would have to kill the other one?" Lizzie asks, almost not believing what she was just told.

"We've been trying to find a way to prevent it, ever since you were little kids. That's why your mom's always off traveling. We tried to keep it from the three of you as long as we could. But when we turned the house into a rescue operation, one of the witches who was passing through told you the story of the Gemini and you..." "Dad. What did I do?" Lizzie asks, wanting to know the whole story.

"You got scared. You had one of your episodes and you went dark. Paranoid. To you, Josie became your biggest threat. You became obsessed with winning. You lost control, you became paranoid, more obsessed with winning."

"I-I killed her." Lizzie states as she starts crying. "It was an accident." Alaric tells her, but she shakes her head. "But no matter how you say it... I killed her... You must hate me so much. I know Lily does, she tried to attack me." "No. I just hate myself. I failed all three of you."

"No. Dad. I've been to other places, other realities. And I know that sounds crazy but you need to believe me. You always do everything that you can to protect me, Josie, and Lily. Time after time. World after world." Lizzie says to him, though he doesn't really believe her. "Then I wish we could be in one of your other worlds right now." he responds.

"No matter what happens I need you to hear this. To believe me. There's a world where your dream came true. You built a school. For Lily, Josie, and me and it was so beautiful. And we were safe. And loved. And you helped so many people. And I was just too stupid and jealous to see it." Alaric thought for a second before speaking, "In this other world. Did I tell you about the merge?" when Lizzie shook her head no, Alaric looked down for a second. "Then I guess we were both pretty stupid huh."

After that, the fighting started. Though, the supernaturals were losing, they weren't losing by much thanks to Lily. Lizzie was watching everything almost in slow motion as an incentive from the Jinni, and even then she could hardly see her sister from how fast she was moving. And that's when Lizzie got the idea.

Hope's POV~

After getting the stuff we need for the spell, we run into Lizzie. The first thing she does when she sees us is pull Lily into a suffocating hug. "What's this for Liz?" Lily asks hugging her back with the same amount of force. "I don't know." she replies. "Well, I really needed this from you after the day I had yesterday." Lily says staying there, but Lizzie pulls away, "Why? What happened?" Lily just shakes her head. "I'll tell you and Josie later. For now, Hope and I are going to spell a barrier around the urn, want to come?" Lizzie thinks about it before walking away. "Pass. But if you don't tell your sisters about yesterday, I will hex you." this part makes Lily laugh and nod her head.

After spelling the barrier, Lily dragged us into the kitchen. She starts making something but won't tell me what, which leads me to try and guess for 20 minutes. "ugh okay I give up. What is it seriously?" I ask pouting, something I only do in front of her when we're alone, which makes her laugh. "Well you've been really stressed lately, so I thought I'd make you something from home. Plus I've been wanting to make it for a while we've just been busy. But seeing as its Saturday so there are no classes, and today has been monster free, I decided to make something an old witch taught me one of those summers I visited you in New Orleans. Gumbo." at hearing what she's making I get a big smile on my face. "Really?" I ask and then bounce up and down when she nods.

"Oh my god, you are the absolute best person I know!" I say and hug her from behind since she isn't facing me. I rest my head on her shoulder and hug her a little longer than necessary before pulling away.

"Okay, it's cooking. Now we wait." She says and pulls out board games making me laugh. After a few minutes, we got MG, Landon, Kaleb, and Josie to come play monopoly with us. Lily was winning the whole time.

"I'm telling you she cheats!" I yell and Kaleb nods his head while the others laugh. "No, she doesn't she just learned how to beat everyone from mom." Josie says shoving her sister playfully. "Foods done guys, grab a bowl." Lily says and hands me a bowl of food while sitting down with her own, I thank her.

Dinner consisted of no one saying anything, they were focused on eating. "Oh my god, that was amazing. Josie, did you know your sister can cook that good?" MG says as he rinses his dish. Josie nods, "Yeah, of course, it's great when we go on vacation. We just buy her the ingredients she wants and she makes killer food every day." I nod my head in agreement remember the times she spent in the kitchen of the Mikaelson compound's kitchen when she would come to visit.

Everyone got up and helped clean the kitchen. Kaleb was towel whipping MG and Josie was splashing water at Landon. Lily and I just laughed at them. When everything was done, Lily and I were the last ones in the kitchen. "Lil?" I said getting her attention. "Hm?" she looked at me. "I just wanted to say thank you. For today I mean. I had a lot of fun, and the food made me feel like I was home." she smiled and pulled me into a hug. "Anytime love." She said, then kissed my temple slowly before pulling away. "I'm going to talk to my sisters, I'll see you later." and she walked out.

I walked to my room thinking today was a really good day.

Lily's POV~

I sighed. "So that's what the dream demon did. And then I killed it." I just finished explaining to Lizzie and Josie what happened yesterday.

We were all sitting on Lizzie's bed. They pulled me into a hug and Lizzie spoke first "Lil, no matter what, we will always keep loving you. I might not always show it, but I do love you. You're our sister." and Josie nodded. "We love you little star." and she kisses my head, while I laugh. "You guys haven't called me little star in a while." "Yeah well, you're not that little anymore. Besides, star is faster to say than Estrella." Lizzie says making us all laugh.

After that, we just watched movies, and then fell asleep.

(A/N)- So I'm gonna try and add more sister scenes, I don't feel like there's enough. Aside from that what do you guys think?
