The Baby Sitter | MinsungWords: 13230

Friday

A warmth was covering the skin of Jisung's eyelids, and he squeezed them from the subtle sting. He rolled over to be better suited to open his eyes fully, looking across at the opposite wall. I don't remember my room being painted cream?

Focusing on a noise in his ear, Jisung listened to the beating of the surface he was lying on. It sounded like a heartbeat. The blond pushed himself up and was met with Minho's sleeping face. His brow was firmly pressed in concentration, hiding itself under his wavy mocha hair. Unintentionally Jisung traced the outline of the older's lips with his finger, only lightly brushing against them. They looked so exquisite, as if they had been crafted from precious stone or marble. Yet their texture was that of silk, with a certain soft

smoothness to them.

Jisung hurriedly moved his hand away from Minho's lips as he began to stir. The brunette's eyes parted lazily, staring up at Jisung's rounded gaze. "Morning Jisung," Minho stretched out his arms off the edge of the sofa, his voice nothing more than a low pitched grumble. It was a comforting sound to the younger, who remained silent.

"Did you sleep okay?"

"Yes.. did, did you?"

"Best sleep I've ever had."

Minho chuckled and glanced over at the clock. "Seven, no bad." Jisung's head shot in the direction of the clock too, face twisted in alarm.

"Seven?! I have to be at school for half past!!" The younger slipped from the sofa to land uncomfortably on the floor, immediately standing back up in a blind panic. His first class was maths as well, and if he was late his blood would be on Mr. Zhang's hands.

Minho appeared a lot less worried about the ordeal, but still could see just how important it was for Jisung.

"It's fine Ji, I can drop you off."

"But I need, need to go home first!"

"We can stop on the way."

"But the kids-"

"Will come with us," the brunette placed his hands on Jisung shoulders to fix him to the spot, "it's honestly not a problem." The blond gulped, swallowing his anxiety, before giving an unsure nod. "Thanks.." Minho laughed and fluffed up the young boy's hair, not paying Jisung's blushing face any mind.

"No need to thank me, now I'll go wake up the boys and meet you by the car, alright?"

~~~
The drive to Jisung's school was full of life despite the time being so early, primarily thanks to Heihyun and Heijin demanding music be played. The kids sang along together, accompanied by Jisung, while Minho listened and laughed whenever the others began screeching the chorus out the window.
Dynamite by Bts had just come on when it came to Jisung's attention what was actually happening in the given moment. Minho was about to drop him off at his school, which would most likely be packed with students. It wasn't suspicious at all that the blond was with an older, obnoxiously attractive guy who was currently fitted in a stylish white shirt and casual blue jeans. Sure the kids were seated in the back, but that only made the situation look even more questionable.
To no surprise the outside area of the school was overcrowded with students being dropped off, just arriving or waiting for their friends to turn up. For Jisung's dumb luck, Felix happened to be one of these people. The snowy haired boy was standing alongside the road, rocking on his heels while blasting music from his headphones. He didn't notice the car at first, not realising it was Jisung's ride until the older climbed out of the front. Before he could run over to greet his friend, Felix was subconsciously stopped by his own legs at the sight of another man stepping out from the front seat.
Brown hair, definitely older, relatively tall, looks super domestic.. are those kids I see in the back? Felix's mouth was formed in an o shape, and continued to hang open as he watched the scene in front of him unfold.
"Well, I should be off now!
Thanks for the ride."
"Aren't you gonna say a proper goodbye?"
"Oh! Goodbye then!"
Minho chuckled, but then his face went somewhat stern. "Wait Ji, your collar isn't straight." The brunette strides towards the younger, his hands tugging around his shirt collar to smooth out the creases. Jisung flinched but only out of embarrassment, his eyes darting around to see if anyone was seeing the two of them.
"There," Minho said spiritedly, stepping back to give the blond another once over in case his clothes were still out of place. Other than the growing tint to his cheeks, Jisung looked ready and set for his day at school. Although on the inside he was having a minor panic attack.
"Alright then, go have a good day!"
"O-Okay! You too!"
"Go work hard Sungie, we'll be
back to pick you up later."
"Mhm that's.. wait what?!"
It was too late to find out exactly what Minho had meant by that, because he had shut the car door and was starting up the engine. Heijin leant out the window, bearing a childish grin as he waved both his hands. "See you later Sungie!!" Jisung signalled goodbye numbly with his hands, following the car drive off down the road.
Felix's mouth was still hung open like a flytrap as Jisung headed towards him, the blush finally leaving his face to be replaced with an eye roll. "What are you gawking at? Shut your mouth or someone will put a dick in it." The blond hit the base of Felix's chin so his jaw was shoved closed. Yelping as his teeth clashed against one another, the younger's mind rejoined its body.
"What was that for?!"
"For goggling at me like a dork."
"I wasn't looking at just you, who
was the guy you were with."
Before Jisung could get a word in, Felix's eyes widened knowingly. "Ahh I know," he started sniggering, "damn Ji I know you said you liked older guys but still!" The blond quirked an eyebrow, but it didn't take long for him to process his friend's words. When he did, an expression of dread took over his pretty features.
"What!! No no, I'm not-"
"You don't have to explain bro, I understand that you like them a little daddy."
"HE ISN'T, FELIX HE'S THE
GUY I BABYSIT FOR!"
"Oh my god he is?! Damn you really do have your types don't you, picking a father. That's what you meant by domestic."
"FELIX STOP OH MY FUCK!"
"Come on, daddy's boy, let's get to you to maths class. Gotta make ur dAdDy proud."
"KEEP YOUR VOICE DOWN!"
~~~

Poor Jisung, his entire day was filled with nothing but relentless teasing from Felix about Minho. If he hadn't been totally head over heels for him, the blond would've played it off coolly and acted as though he wasn't fazed. But when the word "daddy" was a constant ringing in his ears, Jisung was reminded of just how much he really did like the older brunette.

When the boy's weekly p.e lesson rolled around, Jisung had had just about enough of his friends mocking of him. "If you don't shut it I won't pick you for basketball, Yongbok." Felix smirked and shrugged playfully to show how he didn't give a stuff, however he did quit it after that.

Getting changed the two migrated into the sports hall along with the rest of their classmates, chatting about anything that wasn't love interests. The coach stood with the tub of basketballs to the side of her, but on the other waited none other than Seo Changbin. Now it was Jisung's turn to mess with Felix.

"Oooh look, if it isn't Mr. Changbuff."

"Don't call him that dumbass,

and why you pointing it out?"

"Oh admit it already Yongbok, you're

as gay for him as you are me and

Sana from Twice combined."

"I'm not more gay for anyone over

Sana, and even if that were true,

he definitely does not like me."

This Jisung had to disagree with. He looked back over at Changbin, just in time to catch the short boy give Felix a very much deliberate once over. Sure thing Lee Felix, sure thing.

"Alright lads," coach Jeongyeon raised her voice to be heard above the chatter of students, "normal formats, Seo is captain of team one. Han, you can be two." Jisung fisted the air and gave Felix a thumbs up, before jogging over to stand next to Changbin. "Seo you pick first."

The shorter blond analysed the squad of boys in front of him, alluding to the fact that he hadn't already decided who he would be choosing first. His gaze settled on Felix for a few seconds, and he spoke up not long after.

"Lee Felix." The snowy haired boy's eyes rounded as he looked at the coach for confirmation. When she didn't say anything, Felix cautiously ran to stand next to Changbin, keeping his head down to hide the rosiness of his freckled cheeks.

Felix wasn't the only one who was in a state of shock. Jisung's whole face showed outrage, half of it being from a place of friendly rivalry while the other was genuinely surprised.

"What the fuck man, you can't just

nick my best friend for yourself."

"Just did Han, suck on it."

"Fine, shortass, since you took my mate

I'll steal one of yours. WOOYOUNG!

Get over here right now!"

~~~
For the whole game, most of the noise made was random comments made by Changbin and Jisung towards the other. It was all in good fun of course, neither boy taking it seriously, and it gave life to the matches.
Felix meanwhile was doing well for being so up in his head, the clear state of shock from being picked for Changbin's team still evident in his face. It probably wasn't helpful that the older would not stop flirting with him. Maybe Felix didn't think he was, but Jisung recognised smooth talk when he heard it.
"Nice dunk, Lee," Changbin commented after the younger had put away their 18th shot of the match, "ever thought about joining the team?"
Felix had a moment of malfunction, nearly tripping over his own feet from hearing the older's compliment. "Oh um, yeah maybe!" Changbin chuckled as the snowy haired boy replied with a squeak. The game went onwards,both teams keeping within reaching distance of one another score wise.
Skipping over to his friend, Jisung wore a smug grin on his lips. "Look who's a daddy's boy now," the blond chirped, receiving a close slap to the head from a blushing and irritated Felix.
~~~

"I'm telling you Lix, he was staring at you

like you were a 5 star Michelin!"

"Don't you mean meal?"

"Fine, a five star meal. It doesn't matter,

but he looked like he was abouta jump you."

"You're delulu Han, you're just tryna

get back at me for teasing you

about your boyfriend."

"hE ISN'T! And honest to god, why do you think he picked you for his team?!"

No matter how much Jisung tried to convince him, Felix kept denying that Changbin had any interest whatsoever in him. The two were walking down the outside steps, their classes finally over along with most other students. Their talk was pretty loud, not that they cared if other students gave them peculiar glances, but you could pretty much guess it was them.

"Look, even if he did," Felix began, "it's not like he'd, i dunno, appear outta nowhere and ask me out on a date."

"Hey Lee." Both Jisung and Felix whipped round to see Changbin coming down the steps towards them, his friends gathered behind him laughing and seemingly hyping him up. The snowy haired boy looked round to search for who the older was yelling too, not taking the hint that 'Lee' was in reference to himself.

Changbin got in front of the pair, a casual smile pulling at the corners of his mouth. He shot his friends a glare since they wouldn't stop making a racket, then turned back to address Felix.

"You busy later?"

"No, I don't, I don't think so."

"Sweet, meet me at the Boba place

at 6, you know the one?"

"Y-Yeah!"

"Cool," Changbin gave the taller boy a brief overlook, "oh and, wear something cute, yeah?" With a wink the smaller blond headed off, getting nudged and laughed at by his mates. Felix meanwhile stood quite still, stunned from the all of a sudden invite from Changbin. Jisung had to giggle, it was just too hilarious of a coincidence.

"Well well well, look who can predict the near future now," the older sang, dancing around on the balls of his feet. Felix deadpanned as he put up with his friends tormenting, but his tinted cheeks were all the blond needed as a conformation. "Oh go on Lix, I bet you'll enjoy it. And I told you he totally likes you!"

There was undoubtedly no way Felix could disprove it this time. With a small smile he nodded, obviously happy that Changbin had asked him out. "You better go home and get ready, something cute remember."

"Yeah I know," the younger scoffed, still smiling, "I'll text you about it later, okay?" Jisung gave his friend a thumbs up as he watched him stroll off. He was ecstatic for Felix; this is exactly what he had needed. To find someone other than himself to develop a partnership with.

A sudden beep sounded from behind the blond, making him jump and stumble. Steadying himself, Jisung wheeled round to see Minho's car pulling up by the pavement. Heijin stuck his head out the window, oddly reenacting how he did it this morning. "Get in loser, we're going shopping."
