"Oh hey Alec" I reply a little bit too excited. He looked good in his normal attire and gelled hair.
"You look stunning today" he compliments and I blush.
"Thanks! You don't look too bad yourself" I say.His smile widens making him look cuter! Gosh I need to stop admiring him all the time.
"Can you escort me to my locker? I would love that......girlfriend" he whispers in my ear and his breath tickles my skin. His scent enters my nostrils.
"Errrr sure! And am not your girlfriend" I whisper in his ear and he laughs.
I take the blue paper from Kim and excuse myself promising her we will meet later. Alec and I walk to his locker.
"Thanks for coming with me girlfriend" he whispers in my ear and I punch him playfully on his arm. He chuckles and opens his locker.
He brings his books out and shuts it. He looks at me once more.
"Your eyes are so beautiful" he compliments and I blush.
"Enough Alec" I say and he chuckles.
Then I hear a shriek down the hall and I turn to see Kate. Her locker is open and a dozen frogs leap onto her body. I can't help but chuckle. The students in the hall are taking videos of what is happening.
She screams even louder and I could swear a frog entered her mouth. She gets up and spits it out. Then she runs down the hall as they chase her. Her mascara stained her face. Nice prank Troy! Now where is he?
"Ouch! I wouldn't want big frogs like that in my locker" Alec says with a chuckle.
Troy walks up to me with a huge grin on his face.
"I hope you saw that" he tells me.
"That was great Troy! Where did you get the frogs?" I ask him undertone so that no one will hear us.
"In the biology lab" he says proudly.
"I loved the prank! Thank you" I reply.
"Wait! You guys did this?" Alec spits.
"Errr...yeah" I reply.
"Nikki! If they find out its you! You're done for" Alec scoffs.
"They wouldn't! Cos its all covered" Troy assures.
"I hope so!" Alec says.
"But I must say she deserved it for what she did to you yesterday" he adds and I smile.
"Good job Troy" Alec says.
Troy grins.
"Hey guys!" Aaron says walking up to us with Kimberly right behind him.
"Hey Aaron" I say and hug him.
"Did you guys see what happened?" Aaron asks us.
"Yeah! It was fascinating" Alec responds.
"A frog literally entered Kate's mouth" Kimberly spits and chuckles
"I hope they are not poisonous" Aaron says worriedly and it hits me. Were they poisonous?
"Troy! Were they poisonous?" Alec asks and Troy shrugs.
"I don't know! They were just there and I went for them" he replies
"Damn it Troy!" Aaron says.
"You are behind this?" Aaron asks.
Troy nods miserably and Aaron sighs.
"Let's just hope they aren't poisonous" Aaron says and I nod even though I wished they were actually.
"Hi" we hear someone say and we raise our head to see Jake. He wasn't bothered seeing me with Alec.
"Oh hey Jake" Troy responds and I smile. Aaron gives him a small smile and so as Alec. Jake comes to hug me.
"You look gorgeous" Jake whispers in my ear making me blush.
"Thanks" I say. His blonde hair was gelled down and his grey eyes were shimmering in the light.
Aaron's green irises darkens and I see Alec's demeanor change. His amber irises were darker and his jaw was clenched.
"We better get going" Troy announces seeing the way the atmosphere had changed since Jake arrived. I don't know but it looked like Aaron didn't like him and Alec thinks he's a cold guy.
"Yes Troy" Aaron agrees.
"I'll see you later Nikki" Kimberly says and she walks away with Troy and Aaron.
I am standing here with Jake and Alec. I looked at their faces. Jake had a normal expression on and Alec too was okay.
"Ummm....which lesson do you two have first?" Alec asks uncomfortably.
"Well I have Biology" I say.
"I have Literature" Jake says.
"I guess, Jake and I have the same class" Alec says and smiles at Jake. Jake returns it and am glad.
"See you later Nikki" Alec says and hugs me. Jake also hugs me before they both leave to their class.
I hope they'll get along and that Jake wasn't just playing nice because I was around.
I infiltrate into the biology lab to find Troy and a few students.
I go and sit by Troy.
The biology teacher walks in looking disappointed. He is holding a kind of container with water in it. The frogs that had just leaped onto Kate like twenty minutes ago were in it. He places it on the table.
Then he sighs and scratches his head.
"I think something bad happened" Troy whispers in my ear.
"I wonder who came for these frogs! But they are extremely poisonous! Poor Miss Sanders" our biology teacher states with his voice filled with sadness. I was on edge now.
"What happened to Miss Sanders? Is she alright?" One of the guys asks referring to Kate.
"She isn't fine at the moment! But she'll be alright if she sticks with the medical conditions"
"Wait! Is she in the hospital?" A red head asks at the back.
"Yes she is! I hope she gets better soon! But we are investigating to see if we can catch the culprit"
Troy's face falls. Fuck! Its all my fault! And if they find out Troy and I are behind all this, we are doomed.
"I don't think they'll find the culprit! Anyone could have done it" someone suggests from the back and it somehow calms me.
"We will see about that" the teachers answers
"So let's focus on what we are learning today" he adds and class begins.

"God Nikki! I don't want any trouble! I didn't know the frogs were that dangerous" Troy whispers as soon as our biology class ends and we are out of the classroom.
"Nothing will happen" I assure him but I was scared too
Troy nods.
"Nicole Anderson! Please report to the principal's office" a voice says through the speakers and a lump forms in my throat.
"Its happening" I spit
"Calm down!" Troy tells me before leaving
I knock lightly on the door to the principal's office and I hear her tell me to come in. I infiltrate into the room and she sits there with a grim expression on.
"You called for me" I ask politely.
"Yes! Sit down" she commands and I obey.
She sighs.
"Kate Sanders was pranked this morning with a dozen of poisonous frogs from the biology lab! Our number one suspect is you but we are still investigating! So if you know its you, confess it before its too late" The principal states.
I inhale. I was kind of part of this! Its just that, I wasn't the one who placed the frogs in her locker. But I don't want to endanger Troy's life!
"Miss Anderson, do you have something to do with this? Admit it now or else if we find out ourselves, matters will get out of hand and you'll be kicked out" She states and I shiver. Alec was right! He warned me! But my huge ego made it impossible for me to take his advice! I do crazy things when it comes to Kate! Now I'm in a fix.
"How could you doubt me like that? So now I'm the bad guy here! The only bad person in the school right?" I spit at her.
"Not it's not that Miss Anderson! But Kate said it could be you"
I chuckle slightly.
"You know she hates me! She would do anything to put me in trouble when the real culprit is enjoying his freedom! I signed an agreement! I cannot do that" I state clearly.
The principal sighs trying to believe me with my words sinking in. I knew I wasn't telling the truth.
"Well you're right! Do you by any chance know the culprit?" She asks.
Troy. My subconscious mind reminds but I clear it. I got him into this. I have to help him.
"I don't know but right now, you need to forget about the stupid culprit and focus on Kate's health" I suggest.
"We are focusing on her health! But the culprit cannot go unpunished! So if you claim you are not the culprit, you can leave now"
I nod and head for the door. I feel guilty for not telling the truth.
"So how'd it go?" Troy asks as soon as I come out and I release a breath I didn't know I was holding.
"We need to talk Troy!Meet me at lunch" I say and stride to my next class.
I couldn't concentrate in Literature. I was afraid I would be caught. Then I will be kicked out. I sighed when it was finally lunch. I left to the cafeteria and tapped my fingers on the table nervously.
"What's got you so nervous?" Alec asks out of the blue making me flinch a little.
"I heard your name being called to the principal's office! Why? Were you caught?" He whispers in my ear.
"No I wasn't but am afraid of being caught!" I whisper.
"Don't worry! Nothing will happen! Let's go for our food"Â Alec replies and I walk with him.
I take pizza whiles he takes samosas. Then we came back to the table again.
Where was Troy? Aaron, Kimberly and Jake were already here.
Alec and I sit down and Jake flashes me a small smile. I haven't seen him for like two hours.
"Where's Troy?" I spit worriedly.
"He's in the principals office" Kimberly answers. What the fuck?
"What's he doing there?" Alec asks for me.
"He's being interrogated like the way they did with the rest of us" Aaron answers this time around.
"I believe they interrogated you too" Aaron adds referring to me.
I nod.
"Its like they are interrogating our gang! They think we have something to do with Kate's prank" Kimberly spits.
"Actually we had something to do with it! Troy did it!" Aaron whispers.
"Do you think he will admit it?" Alec asks.
"I hope not" I quickly say
Jake is confused.
"Wait! Why would Troy prank Kate?" Jake spits and looks at all of us.
"I was also surprised" Aaron says.
"Actually, the truth is, I made him do it for me" I say.
"YOU WHAT?!" Aaron and Jake yell at the same time.
"Nikki how could you?" Jake blurts
"Have you forgotten about the agreement?" Aaron follows and I feel guilty.
"Don't blame her too much fellas! She needed to teach her a lesson" Alec defends.
Aaron sighs and Jake deflates glaring at me.
"But you shouldn't have! At least you could have controlled it! Now Troy is in danger and you are at a higher risk too" Aaron spits.
"Okay I know! Now stop yelling at me like am some kid" I chide.
They are quiet now.
"Hey guys" someone says and we all turn to see Troy.
