Jake comes to our table and I see Aaron's jaw clench. Alec looks surprised as well but Troy and Kimberly were relaxed
"Can I join you guys?" He asks looking at me
I nod and he sits beside Kimberley. I was in between Alec and Aaron. Jake glares at Alec before eating his peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
Alec just shrugs and eats his Bagel and Lox. The table is oddly silent since Jake joined. Aaron looked uncomfortable with his presence but the rest were cool.
I feel something on my left hand and I see Alec drawing circles on it.
He smiles at me. I smile back for his gesture.
I look at Jake and he looks at Alec with a death glare. Aaron just studied what was going on along with Troy and Kimberly.
Kimberly coughs dramatically and Troy chuckles.
I look back at my plate and the rest of the hotdogs are gone. What?
I look at Aaron. He was busy filling his mouth with food. I look at Jake and he's not done with his food
My gaze shifts to Alec who was done and was chewing a hotdog! My hotdog! His gaze was on his phone but I think he sensed my glare and looked at me with a guilty smile.
"Did you steal my hotdogs Alec?" I spit.
"Of course not Nikki! Its Aaron! I saw him stealing them" Alec says in his cheerful bass voice.
"I didn't steal any hotdogs Alec!" Aaron defends and I know he isn't lying.
"Alec!" I yell and he chuckles.
"I took only two" he admits and I smile.
"Idiot" I yell and he laughs.
Jake glares at us whiles the others laugh it off. What's up with him?
"Kimberly and I would be leaving" Troy speaks up and they leave done with their food leaving me with Alec, Aaron and Jake.
Alec feels uncomfortable.
"I'll be leaving Nikki! Thanks for the hotdogs though" Alec says with a wink before leaving our table.
"I'll be going too" Aaron says and follows Alec out of the cafeteria.
I don't know but I think Jake's cold behaviour scared Alec and everyone away! What's going on with him? Giving Alec death glares and everything! Alec is a nice a guy!
"Why are you so quiet?" Jake finally spoke up.
"What's wrong with you?" I spit out of the blue and Jake is caught off guard.
He chuckles slightly.
"What's up Nikki?" He asks.
"I mean you're behaving like some possessive jackass! Do you think I haven't been watching you? Since you met Alec, you have been giving him a cold shoulder and I know you scared him out of here right now"I blabber.
Jake sighs.
" I don't like him Nikki! Something about him puts me off! He looks cunning"he replies and I furrow my eyebrows.
"Just admit it Jake! You are jealous of him! Is it because of what happened at calculus class?" I spit and his jaw clenches.
"Maybe I might be jealous because he seems to be winning your attention lately and he's so fucking good in calculus and......" Jake trails off
"And..." I urge him to continue.
"He's the star player of the school and he's good looking too! Am afraid he will take you away from me" he finishes off staring at his fingers. I place my hand on his and he looks at me.
"I must admit you sound like a possessive scumbag" I say and he chuckles slightly.
"But....I promise you that Alec wouldn't take me away from you! We are just friends!" I say assuredly.
Jake smiles.
"I hope because he looks like he has something up his sleeve" He spits and I roll my eyes at him.
"I don't think so" I say even though I didn't know him very well, he seemed to be a good person.
Jake nods.
"Oh how wonderful! Are you having a date in the cafeteria?" A voice spits and I know its Kate.
She was standing there with her minions. I remain quiet reminding myself not to get in trouble! She was only tempting me.
"Of course not Kate! I wouldn't have a date here especially with Nikki! I'd have it in a fancy and expensive restaurant instead" Jake replies and I smile. It made my insides warm.
"Awwwm so sweet!" Kate coos.
"I can't believe I decided to take you as a friend but its okay! It always happens! She steals my male friends and turns them against me! But its normal! Am okay with it! You'll come back one day begging for my forgiveness when she dumps you" Kate spits with a smirk and sashays away.
I glared at her until her purple hair disappeared. Then I sigh. I'm back to me being bullied.

Our last lesson for the day finally comes to an end and I'm walking alone to my locker. I key in my combination and open it. I was about to place my books in when someone slaps them and they all fall on the floor. The students in the hallway watch.
Kate stands there with a smirk.
"Oh sorry Nikki! I saw a cockroach on top and I wanted to kill it but they ended up falling on the floor" she apologises.
I wanted to punch her but my mind kept on reminding me of the agreement.
"Its okay Kate" I reply and everyone is surprised. They were expecting a heated fight but I wasn't going to give in to her temptations.
I squat on the floor and gather the books but she skillfully stepped on my hand with her heels and I grimace in pain. Her heel is still on my hand digging into my skin. I breathe in to suppress the pain
"Stay away from Jake! And Alec too or I'll make sure you'll be kicked out of the school in no time" she warns in my ear then she kisses my temple and walks away giggling.
My fingers hurt. Ouch! I massage them through and through. That bitch will pay for this. I considered Troy's plan! Pranking!
I finally placed the books I needed in my satchel and the rest in my locker. Then I left to the parking lot.
Mom's car was already there. I got closer and sat at the back. She didn't say anything as we drive away.
We picked up Trina at school and we are home currently. I just finished my history homework and am now sprawled in my bed. My heart aches. I feel bitter. I want to cry. I've become such a softie. I wasn't like this.
I grabbed my phone and called Troy.
"What's up Nikki?" His voice comes on.
"I considered your plan" I say
"And?" He asks.
"I'm taking it" I say.
"Yes!!!" He yells and I chuckle.
"Don't worry! Kimberly and I will do all the work" he assures.
"Can you prank Kate tomorrow for me?" I ask
"Sure! And I know you would love it" Troy assures.
"Just be careful okay? I don't want you to be signing a dreaded agreement" I warn
"Okay I will" he says
"Thanks Troy" I reply
"Anytime!" He replies and hangs up.
I smile satisfied. I can't wait to see Kate's face tomorrow after being pranked! She messed with me today! Making me feel terrible! My pinky still hurts with my other cute fingers after she stepped on it. I sigh. I wonder what Troy has in store for her tomorrow! It better be good and spicy. I'll make sure to take a video of it.
A bolt of pain shoots through my pinky and I grimace. Ouch! It hurts so much. She just did this to warn me to stay away from Alec and Jake! She's such a scum!

My alarm rings and I shut it down. Its Tuesday and I have high spirits! This is for only two reasons.
1. Am glad yesterday is gone with all that drama that went on together with the agreement! Am happy its in the past now even though it will be a topic in school.
2. Today's the day I get Kate pranked! Squee! I can't wait to see what Troy has in store for her.
I giggle wickedly at my thoughts and enter the bathroom. I take a quick shower and get into a black tank top, black leggings, maroon boots and a maroon jacket.
I comb my hair super straight and tie it into a cute bun on top of my head like Trina's own yesterday. I applied some light makeup and peach lip gloss on my lips. Then I sprayed myself with my mild perfume.
I glanced at my reflection. I got a black bracelet around my wrist and just left my room.
"Whoah Nicole! You look amazing" Trina gushes the moment she sees me.
"Thanks sis! You too" I reply honestly. She looked good too in a crimson top, white leggings and black and white converse.
"Today you look more cheerful than yesterday" Trina says and I nod.
"What happened? Any good news?" Trina asks raising a brow.
Something more than good news! But I just couldn't tell her.
Mom served us with risotto. I wonder if she's still mad at me. Dad is still on his trip. But today she talked very little.
After breakfast, we left the house. Trina got down first as always leaving mom and l.
"Mom, are you still mad at me?" I say.
"A bit" she replies.
"I know I didn't do well but I wasn't lying mom! I had an asthma attack" I say.
She sighs.
"Alright! I believe you! I guess I was too angry to see that! I'm sorry" mom says and enters my school's parking lot
"Thanks mom" I reply and kiss her cheek before getting down.
"Take care" she hollered after me and I wave her.
I strut down the hallway and all eyes are on me. The boys were whistling and the girls were stunned. I go straight for my locker and open it. A blue paper falls out. I pick it up and there's a message;

I just wanna say that I can't stop thinking about you! Whenever I see you time stops. I need you like the way I always need water! I can't live without you.

That was so sweet! I wonder who placed this in my locker! But I have a secret admirer.
I take the books I need and shut my locker. Kimberly stood there looking gobsmacked.
"OMG! Nicole you look......HOT!!!" She blurts and I giggle.
"Thanks" I reply.
"I love your jacket and your boots! Maroon! Awwwm" she says and tucks a strand of her blonde hair behind her ear. She was wearing a yellow tee shirt over black leggings and black double deckers.
"Where's Troy?" I ask concerned. He is the one I'm counting on.
"Relax! He's got everything under control! Just watch" Kimberly says giving me a wink.
I sigh satisfied. I can't wait! I'm anxious.
"What's this?" Kimberly asks referring to the blue paper in my hand. The one from my secret admirer.
"Oh its just a message" I reply
She snatches it from me and her eyes grow wide when she's done.
"A secret admirer?" She blurts.
"Shhh! You don't have to yell!" I chide.
"Sorry but omg! I'm so jealous" she says giddily and I giggle.
"Hey beautiful" a voice says and I turn around to see Alec.
