I realize am not in my tracksuit but in a long shirt that reached mid thigh. My hair is messy and I look pale when I glance at my reflection in the mirror.
I catch a glimpse of the time on the wall clock and it signals me that I've been in this house for a long time. Its 12:50pm. Sunday.
I look at Alec who was busy checking me out. He smiles coyly.
"I guess you need to take a shower! You can feel at home! Don't worry" he says.
"Where's my tracksuit?" I ask
"I got it laundered for you" he replies simply and enters his closet.
He comes back with a plastic bag and hands it to me.
I look into it and my red adidas tracksuit is in alright. It smells like Alec in a way.
"Thanks" I say and drop the bag on his huge bed
"I'll be waiting at the dining hall" Alec says and with that he left the room.
I sigh and straighten my messy hair. I hate it when I get asthma attacks! It always puts me in these awkward situations.
I make my way to Alec's bathroom and I gasp
It had a huge white bathtub and the tiles in the bathroom were all a kind of peach color! There was a sink with an elegant faucet just below a huge mirror and a huge chestnut cupboard with golden handles.
I envy this guy! My bathroom wasn't this close to his! Even though I liked it and it was manageable, this one was way too elegant!
I walk towards the cupboard knowing maybe all the supplies were there. I open it and a fresh scent hits me. I inhale it. I look inside. I was right! It had everything in here, from shampoos to conditioners to bathing gels to tooth brushes, tooth pastes, a set of towels and bathrobes. I pick a new toothbrush together with a toothpaste, a black towel, shampoo and bathing gel.
I brushed my teeth first. Then I got into the bathtub and I really loved the feel of his bathtub. After my bath, I dried myself and went back to the bedroom making sure to keep the bathroom the way it was. I got into my tracksuit and trainers. Then I dried my hair and tied it into a simple ponytail.
For some reason I smelt like Alec. Without wasting much time, I grabbed my phone and left the room. My jaw almost hit the floor when I got out of Alec's room. The interior of his house was way more elegant than I ever imagined! I've heard a few rumours about it but I never knew it would be this good. There were pictures displayed all over with lots of flowers in pots positioned at vantage points. The tiles were white and shiny. The walls were also white without a stain.
I descended the stairs and when I got to the hall, I almost died! There was a huge floor to ceiling window, the couches were all gold and white in colour, there was a huge chandelier and a large flat screen TV together with a stereo.
I took a deep breath. No wonder all the girls in our school want him! From what I've seen so far, this guy is filthy rich!
"Nikki! You are here" I hear him say and I turn around to see him with a huge and proud grin on his face. I know he caught me checking out his house. I pretend as if the place isn't all that impressive even though it was but I didn't want his ego to grow bigger.
"Yes Alec! I'm ready to go" I reply.
"Won't you eat something? We made lasagne" Alec's mom interjects
My stomach grumbles and I hope Alec didn't hear it.
"Okay" I say
Alec walks me to the dining table and pulls a chair out for me to sit in. I say thank you and sit down. He's such a gentleman! I now know the reasons why girls basically fight over him at school! Especially Kate!
Alec's mom calls a maid in and she serves us. I taste the lasagne and its delicious. The table is oddly quiet as we all eat.
"So....." Alec's mom begins and I freeze
"How did you two meet?" She says in a bubbly voice and I know she was filled with curiosity.
I look at Alec and he stops chewing even though his mouth was full. I bet his food suddenly tasted like saw dust and it looked like his eyes were about to pop out of his head. I stifle a giggle.
"We errr..... met in school" I say trying to remember all the romantic novels I've read and how the girl meets the guy.
Alec's mom urges me.
"I left my notebook in class and I realised it when I got home! So the following day, I went to class to check if I'd find it but it wasn't there! I was frustrated because it was left with a few weeks to exams and I needed that notebook badly but thankfully, Alec had it and returned it to me" I say and Alec winks at me. I smile back.
"I took the book and thanked him! Since then, we became friends! And now we are sweethearts" I say and squeeze Alec's hand on the table. He smiles in return. Fuck! I can't believe am doing this! He's going to regret it! I kind of feel bad deceiving his mom.
"Awwwm! That's so cute" his mom coos and I flash her a fake smile.
I look back at Alec who was busy filling his mouth with food! Chicken! He will pay for this!
"So how long have you been together?" His mom throws at us.
"Alec would answer that one" I say and smile brightly at him. He is at a loss for words. I wasn't the only one who was going to answer all the questions his mom throws.
His mom looks at him expectantly
"We've been together for two months now" he lies and bile rises into my throat.
Two months? OMG! He's doing this on purpose. He looks at me with a small smile whiles I was about to explode.
"Right babe?" He asks and I melt. The way he said the word 'babe' in his sexy voice made me relax in a way.
"Yes darling" I reply with a smile.
"That's so touching! It reminds me of my youthful days! " his mom says and I smile.
I was done with my food and was happy I could finally leave the house and go to my own house. Another reason was to run away from all the questions Alec's mom was asking and lastly to tell everyone I was okay!
Alec and I got outside and the sun was already in the sky.
"Two months. Alec?" I spit in his face the moment we were out of his mom's presence.
"Yeah! Why? Its just a lie?" He spits and I huff.
"You are doing this on purpose" I say and he laughs.
"Nikki! Any girl would want to be in your position right now! Appreciate and enjoy it! It wouldn't last! One day I'll just make up a story and tell her I broke up with you" he spits with a smirk. I groan.
"You are an idiot!" I say and he chuckles.
"I know right! That's why girls love me" he says and I give him a glare making him laugh harder. He was right about that though.
We walk to his garage and my mouth drops. There was a sleek all black Buggati Chiron inside. He was going to drive this? His phone rings and he frowns on seeing the caller ID. I take the opportunity to check out his car. There was another sports car parked beside it.
"What?" He drawls lazily into the phone. I guess the caller was one of his sluts because his face had no interest and it was void of emotion.
"Fine! I'll pass by your house" he says in a dull tone and ends the call with a frown.
"Who was that? What happened?" I ask curiously.
"No one important" he says and opens the passenger door for me. I sigh and sit in nevertheless.
He joins me and moves the car out of the garage.

The ride has been silent. Alec was in such a good mood until he had that phone call! I wonder who called to mess up his mood like that! I didn't know it was my turn to have that bad phone call!
My phone rings and its my mom. I hesitate but then pick up.
"Hey mom" I say nervously.
"Where in the world are you Missy? We've been searching all over for you! Let me tell you something! You fucking left your little sister stranded at that..... that unwholesome party! And God knows where you went! You left all of us stranded in this house! Your friends were so worried about you! You probably went to have a one nightstand somewhere right?" My mom blabbers over the phone and her last statement was the last straw!
"Of course not mother! I..." She cuts me off.
"Listen up Missy! If you know you are no more a virgin do not step foot in this house" she threatens and the call ends. I huff. How could she?
So if I were kidnapped, she would have thought I went somewhere to have a one nightstand? She's so pathetic
"Who was that?" Alec asks
"My mom" I reply a bit hurt. She doubts me and that's what hurts!
"What did she say? You look upset" Alec drawls and I sigh.
"Nothing important" I reply close to tears.
Alec sighs and drives on.
"Can you take me somewhere else? I don't wanna go home" I say out of the blue.
Alec looks at me surprised.
"Why? Did something happen?" He asks.
I shake my head. I know with the way my mom is angry, I can't face her! I'll end up crying.
"Okay! I'll take you to the nearest park" Alec says and I nod in agreement.
We finally pull up at a park. It was similar to the one Jake and I went to. The only difference was, this one was much smaller.
"Are you okay?" Alec asks concerned as I get down from his car and he shuts the door.
"I'm fine" I say and wipe a tear that was threatening to fall.
We walk silently into the park and sit on a vacant bench.
"If there's something wrong you can tell me! Your mood suddenly changed after receiving that dreaded phone call" Alec spits and I shake my head inhaling deeply.
He sighs and rubs my fingers to soothe me. I give him a small smile for the gesture.
"I just needed some fresh air Alec! Nothing else" I say and he smiles.
I hug him tight. He was like my teddy bear, Boomer in a way. I let the tears flow freely. I needed to be strong!
