Chapter 651
Ellinor fell silent
She felt like she was hit by a cold blast of wind chilled to the bone and hurt
She recalled the sight of the little girl crying inconsolably by the emergency room door
Ellinor took a deep breath âAlright, I agree to your terms
Balfour was clearly satisfied. He smiled and said. âMs Mendoza, you're just a cheerful person I trust
your word, let's go *
Ellinor nodded and turned around to lead him to the elevator
Balfour followed Ellinor into the elevator, heading towards the blood collection room downstairs.
Inside the elevator, it was just the two of them
"Who got in the accident? Balfour asked nonchalantly.
âI don't know her Ellinor responded calmly, her expression cold.
Balfour was taken aback. He stared at the girl beside him incredulously âYou don't know her? You're
this worried for someone you don't know, even agreeing to my terms?â
Ellinor glanced at him. âThe kid's only about five or six. She's pitiful. If she loses her mother at such a
young age, she'll face a tough life. I just want to help in any way I can.â Her words struck a chord in
Balfour's cold heart
He thought about his long-lost little sister.
Was their mother still alive? Was his sister also living a tough life?
Balfour was lost in thought for a while. Before this, he never believed someone could be so
concerned about a stranger's life and death.
He was often skeptical of the good deeds reported in the news, thinking most of them were fake.
âMr. Howard, why aren't you coming out yet? Having second thoughts?â
The elevator doors were open, but Ellinor realized Balfour hadn't followed. She turned back to look
at him, furrowing her brow
Balfour snapped out of it and stepped out of the elevator. âNo, I stand by my word.â
âGoodâ
Blood collection room.
The nurse didn't expect Ellinor to find a donor so quickly, and a handsome one at that.
The nurse was stunned for a few seconds before regaining her composure, feeling a bit
embarrassed.
She quickly adjusted her expression and professionally drew some blood from Balfour to test his
blood type.
The results came back quickly.
âThis gentleman's blood type is a match, he can donate.â
Balfour elegantly rolled up his shirt sleeve, extending his arm to the nurse.
This was the first time the nurse had been so close to such a handsome man; she struggled to
suppress her excitement.
After drawing the blood, she turned her head away, no longer looking at the breathtakingly
handsome face.
âThank you, Ms Mendoza. It's not easy to find RH negative blood so quickly, without your help, we
might not have found any. Now, the patient can be saved.â
Ellinor shook her head nothing, it's good to save people.â
The little girl wiped her tears when she heard her mom was saved, she took Ellinor's hand and said
gratefully. âThank you for finding blood for my mom!
Ellinor looked down at the little girl âYou don't need to thank me, go thank the donorâ
H
The little girl nodded, turned to the man who was giving blood and said, âSir, thank you for
donating blood for my mom! I will pay you back when I grow up!â
Balfour just nodded, saying coldly. âYou donât need to pay me back, just repay the lady beside you.â
A while later, the blood collection was completed.
The nurse hurriedly took the bag of blood and rushed to the emergency room....
After donating blood, Balfour threw the cotton ball on his arm into the trash can, slowly adjusting
his shirt sleeve as he stood up.
He felt a wave of dizziness he'd never experienced before, his brow furrowed.
He thought if he, a man, felt like this after donating blood, it must be even worse for Ellinor.
Then Balfour looked at Ellinor, asking her in a somewhat puzzled tone, âYou're pregnant and still
donating blood, aren't you worried about your health?
