Not getting a response from Ellinor, Patricia turned to Theo, “Theo, what should we do about our

child? He's hurt.”

Theo calmly checked if the child had any other injuries and once he was sure there weren't any, he

immediately picked him up and told Patricia, “Don’t panic, we're going to the hospital”

Patricia nodded while sobbing. “Okay, we're going to the hospital”

Ellinor blocked Theo's path, Tve already called an ambulance; it should be here soon; it'll be faster

than you taking him to the hospital.”

even scoffed.

At that moment, Bartlett came back from taking a call just in time to see Theo carrying the crying

child and leaving with Patricia

Ellinor said, “Their kid got scalded by hot soup, it's pretty serious.”

burned?”

Ellinor did get burned when she grabbed the hot soup pot and her palm was a bit sore now

But she didn't want to make a big deal out of it, so she shook her head, “No.”

Bartlett finally relaxed, “Glad you're okay, let's go to the hospital to check on the kid!"

Ellinor didn't object and she nodded, “Okay, let's go!"

She felt sorry for the kid for having been born to such a ruthless mother, his childhood would

probably be filled with horrors.
