Third person pov:
Kate went towards alex parents and congratulate them. "Congratulations Xavier and Claire" kate said. "thankyou kate. Where are your parents?" Xavier asked. "they can't attend the party. They will make it up to you when they return." Kate replied. Claire replied "it's okay kate. We will meet after they return." With that they continue to meet other friends.
Kate want to show that bitch what she is. Ananya make her tell sorry and come to party with her man. she wants to humiliate her in this party and make her pay for what she did. She planned to make alex leave her in this party and come towards her.
After some time kate went towards alex parents and discussed some matter and returned to the stage where music is played. She takes the mike and start speaking. "Hello good evening to all. i guess you all enjoyed the party. I want to make Mr. & Mrs. King anniversary a memorable. this year. So, I want to conduct a small competition among us. All the couples present in the party can participate in this. This is a dance competition. Music starts playing, couples interested can join. Only one last couple dance till the end is the winner."
"The winner can be gifted by Mr. & Mrs. King. The gift can be revealed at the end." Kate said and continued excitingly "the competition can be start in few minutes in mean while you can reach to the dance floor.
Alex and their friends did not expect this. Maximum all the people in the hall know that kate is a great model and dancer. She can win this easily but others want to enjoy the party.so, All the young couples want to try their luck and old couples enjoy the show.
On the other side Alex and his friends are gathered at their desk. Fiona asked irritated "what is this? We did not conduct any competitions before. why this time?" jen also said "we know that she is a best dancer. She can win the competition easily. How your parents allow to it?"
"I think she is planning something." Nick said in middle. "why did you guess that?" David asked. "because alex reject her before. ..." before nick complete his sentence Ana interrupt him showing others kate coming towards them. All are silenced for once. kate came towards their desk and asked "you all are not participating in the dance?" pointing all of them.
Fin replied "Who said we are not participating?" "I and zack, jen and David are participating" fin completed.
"what alex and nick not participating in it?" kate asked. Zack said "Nick girlfriend is not here; he wants to enjoy the show." "Alex did not involve in this kind of programs. You know that"
"i also knows that alex never drop from competitions, I think he is not satisfied with his date today." Kate continued "I hear that ana cannot dance that's why alex dropped from the competition." Seeing ana raising her eyebrows.
All of them understand that she is targeting ana. alex said calmly "kate you know that I don't like these activities why are you involving Ana in it." He did not like kate pointing Ananya.
"I also know that you never give up competitions. You always win in any challenge. You never give up. But today see, you choose her over me that's why you lose this competition. If you choose me you have won this easily." Alex is in full rage by hearing kate words. "time is not over alex if you want to change your date, I will perform with you. You will win it. What you say?" kate completed.
Ana was furious. "who is she to decide my talent? if you want him you can take, why to involve me." she thought and said "Kate if you want to perform with alex you can ask him directly, why to beat around the bush?" with that Ana want to leave.
"I did not mean it or hurt you ana. I only say reality that if alex choose the person to his range then why should he loose this. You are an employee who work for money. how can he choose a person like you to be his date? I am only helping him to take a correct decision Ana." Ana did not like when any one point outs her. if it is not a party, she makes kate learn her lesson and never involve in her matters.
So, she patiently stand up "Kate if you want ,you can perform, I am not interested in it. I will take my leave" "Bye guys "with that ana turn around and about to leave and kate was happy that she can insult before her friends. By seeing ana laving alex cannot control his temper and jen stopped ana to leave and said "why are you leaving, you know that she wants to spoil our time yaar. Don't?"
"let her leave jen. She learns what is her status." And seeing alex, kate said "alex see ana was leaving, you can choose me now. If we both perform then we can win anything..." Alex stood from his place went towards ana controlling his anger with a smile on his face, place his hand on ana waist and pull her towards his side and said "I am very grateful to you to remind me that I never lose any challenge. I can't participate with you." By hearing this kate face lost the happiness and her face is pale. Ana wants to leave but by alex action she was stunned "I will participate with ana and proves you that I, Alexander Black King never take wrong decisions in anything."
"Alex again you are taking wrong choice. You are challenging me, then I will show you that I am the correct person to you." With that kate left from there with anger. "I told you that she is planning something, see what she did" nick said calmly. "this bitch how can she think she is great in all. alex I don't know what you do I want her to loose her face in this party." Fin said "yes alex you should "jen also supported.
"we know about alex he will win .Fiona don't worry" zack said. " heyy what are you guys doing? I don't know how to dance. I will leave now..." before ana can complete alex put his point finger on her lips, current passed through her spin. Alex said " we will participate. Alex will never give up." "Ana please go. We have to show that bitch you are more than her" fin supported. "we know alex, you can trust him" zack said.
"Okay stop discussion. All are leaving to dance floor. Congratulations to all. " " Move" nick said. All are leaving ana was confused she had never participated in these competitions. After long time she was dancing that too couple dance.
"Alex choose others. I am not suitable for it." Ana was saying but alex did not hear to her but pull her towards her that they are so close to each other. Alex said "don't worry ,trust me.".
All couples reached to stage, kate was furious. "Alex you again and again rejecting me raising my ego now I will let you lose around these people. By the way ana did not now how to dance, then how can you win." By thinking this kate had a devil smile on her face.
On the other side alex thinking "kate you cross my limits; I did not allow any one to hurt my person. If I said stop you should but you cross the limit. I will show you how to respect my girl."
Another said "where did that my girl came from? "but now he throws that thought away and moves towards dance floor.
All the guests and his parents are in shock to see Alex coming towards the floor. All knows that most rude and arrogant person Mr. King to take a part in this type of competitions. Some people are thinking "Most famous billionaire to dance with a lady. This is first time to see alex to dance. He never dances in any events." Others thinking "Kate is a great dancer and alex never dance, he never fails in any competition. Today must his first lost in the competition." His parents are enjoying without any thinking because this is first time to see that alex is dancing. They did not think who will win or lose.
Nearly all the young couples are participating. Music starts to play, slow music in the back ground. Total environment in the hall is excitement , tension, enjoyment, surprising and romantic. Excitement and surprising to see Mr. king to dance. Tension that who will wins, romantic due to the slow music.
Ana was tensed, how much strength given by others but what some thing happens. Alex was excited to do his first dance with a girl that is Ana. He also doesn't now for what the special in it.
Alex and Ana took their places and waited for the soft music to begin. They encircled each other; gaze remained locked. Alex placed his hand on her back, her hand on his shoulder and their free hands finally met. Together they dance to the music , their feet in the sync to the beating ana heart. All the couples are dancing , the remaining are enjoying the show. Alex speed up the movements along the music.
Initially the music is slow as the time goes on the fast music has been played. Some couples left, when fast music plays. Alex take off his hand from ana waist and catch her left hand , leaves the right hand and twirl her fast sync to the music. He turned elegantly; his body is tune with the fast music. Yet there was a sort of harshness to him, like someone who shouldn't be underestimated. The movements are fast alex hold her from her back touches his chest as fast both hands on her two hands push her fast and pull her towards him. As their dance goes on full sync with the fast music.
Only two couples left at last, Alex and Kate. Kate is thinking how to make ana fall while dancing. So, they move close to ana couple while dancing . kate stretch her leg ,if ana comes back she will fall down due to her legs but Alex identify it and pull ana closer and lift her up by holding her waist, kate slipped and fall down in the way, but Alex continue his dance .At last alex hold her to his chest; eyes locked , with that dance ends.
The loud applause of the audience makes them to senses. Mr. & Mrs. King came towards them and congratulate them. Claire takes the mike and announced " kate thank you for the best gift you gave us today." Kate did not understand what aunt said, she was furious to loss but aunt was congratulating her " what the hell ?" she thought.
" I never think this arrogant kid can dance. With your idea I can watch it. Once again thank you." With that Claire gave mike to Xavier . she takes out the box and gave it to alex. "this is the gift for the couple who win this." Alex opens the box "these rings are brought by your father this year as a present to me. But I want to present this to winners." " you are the winner today so I like to present it to you both." Claire said.
"Mrs. king it's my pleasure to have it but I can't accept it. This is a present from Mr. King to you how can I take it." Ana said. " yes, mom we can not take it." Alex said. Ana take the rings and handover to Mr. & Mrs. king and said " you both exchange the rings Aunt."
Mrs. King takes the ring from Xavier and given to Ana and Alex said " you both can keep these rings as our gift to winner of today's event." Ana want to decline but they did not hear her. As for this both alex and ana put those rings to their fingers.
