Third person pov:
Today Alex parents Anniversary, he is busy in arrangements until afternoon. He barely rests for 3 hours and he dressed up for function. After that he went to pick up Ana on the way to hotel.
On the other side ana felt happy by seeing the dress send by alex. She was worried when she accepts his offer. Ana did not like to attend parties. It was her first time to attend ,so she was tensed when Alex asked her as a date. Due to her self-confidence she had accept for the challenge. In present she did not have any idea about "how to behave with high status people? She is jenny friend but never went to any functions with her ".
If she attends party as a friend it is not that difficult. But being Alex girlfriend, she has to meet high status people and behave professionally. He is the top most bachelor that every girl wants to marry. On other thing alex told he will send dress, how it will be like revealed and exposed but after seeing the dress, she is satisfy with the dress because it is beautiful and did not reveals much.
"Ana stop thinking and get ready to the party. We will leave in an hour. David come to pick us up." Jen shouts at the door. "Jen you go with David. I will come directly" Ana replied opening the door.
Both sit in the hall "Why?.. Ana you are hiding something .From past 2 days you are behaving differently. What is the reason? Why are you tensed? Tell me otherwise you know what I can do? " jen questioned raising her eyebrows . Jen know Ana from last few years, by her behavior she can tell that she has something in her head.
Ana hesitates for some time and finally says hurriedly " iamcomingtopartywithadate." Jen did not understand what she said so she questioned again "what? tell me clearly." "I am coming to party with a date" ana replied. "wow... huhhh .. finally, you get a boyfriend. Great I thought you will get Boyfriend after you get old..." jen said happily jumping before she complete ana interrupted her.
"No... I only escort him today nothing more than that" Ana replied. "ohh.. ok.ok.. Who is that guy? Did I know him?" Jen questioned excitedly. " you will find out in the party. Go and get ready for the function" Ana said and go to her room .
Jenny and David left then ana message Alex to pick her up. Ana was waiting in the hall, when she hears the door bell, she collects her belongings and opens the door.
When ana opens the door alex was standing in his black tux with handsome face that everyone fell for. Alex also mesmerized by her look in the dress, she looks beautiful and elegant in that dress even models cannot reach her. Their eyes are locked, Ana was first to recover and her face turning into red. Ana locked the door and both left from there.
In car Ana tension raises and biting her nails seeing outside the window. Alex observe and called Ananya but she did not response. Next time alex raised his voice and called. Ana responded "why are you shouting alex?". "you are zoned out. I have called you three times but you did not respond. So, I raise my voice." Alex explained. "why are you tensed Ana?" Alex questioned carefully. Because Alex know ana for small time she never worried or tensed while doing her work. She will be confident always so he asked her. "I never went to any events or parties" Ana explain alex and continued " this is my first time to go for functions. And also it is high society function and I am not up to it. "
Alex said "Ana don't worry any thing about society . you are our friend. No one can raise their voice before. I am with you, there is no point on high or middle or low class. And never degrade yourself with others , you are best than those high society people with all fake qualifications." By hearing alex words Ana was somewhat feels better than before.
Hotel is with high security and reporters cannot enter. Only people having invitation can enter. When they reached to hotel both get down from it and alex throws the key to valet. Alex saw ana hesitating figure so he moves towards ana and stand beside her. He bent until her ear said "I am here don't worry" and started walking. When they reach entrance hall it is noisy.
Ana was tensed so alex place his hand around her waist and enter the hall. Both feels the tingling senses when they touch each other. Alex starts walking into the hall, then complete hall remains pin drop silence. Alex moved ana towards their friends.
All the people in hall thinking who is the beauty entered with Alex. The guests who came today are Alex parents' friends and business partners. Now all the bachelors or other man in the hall seeing her like a gold fish. All women who came today want to tame alex but when they saw Ana all are jealous about her. No one knows from where she is from, they never see her before. All are trying to know about her so that they get chance after alex.
At the same time all the friends are talking, by sudden silence they turn around and stunned to see the coming couple. "what we are seeing is any dream?" Zack asked surprisingly.
"pinch me please..." Fin asking shockingly. Jenny pinched Fin "ouch... this is not dream. They came really" fin said.
"Ana said that she will come with her date today." Jen said. "that means the girl we are expecting is Ananya Khanna" Fin asked others.
"No she told me that only for today she escort him for function" jen explained.
"Hii..."Alex said to others ,all stop discussing and greet him. "Hello guys..." Ana also greet others. Her face is flushed because of their closeness in front of them it is observed by her friend jen. "I thought you will come with Kate alex." David mock alex.
"it is better to not attend the function" Alex said carelessly . "Hi ana. I never expect you to come with Alex. I thought you will come with your colleagues" Jen asked teasingly. Before Ana say anything, Alex parents came.
All of them went towards them. First fin and zack wish them ,next jen and David wish them and gave their gifts. When nick wished them, Aunt ask " where is San nick?" nick said "sorry aunt she did not attend due to work. She said her wishes to you and make it other time." Mrs king said "take it easy . I am just asking her. I have not seen her for a long time." " I think someone is missing her a lot than you baby." Mr. king said to his wife. "stop it Xavier . he is already upset why are you annoying him" Mrs. Claire king said. "No aunt he is always on phone chatting with her. Then how can he miss her" jen said. "Jenn... stop it" nick said.
"See aunt they all are annoying. " nick complain like a child to Claire. " when your lover lives at another place you can understand that. If it is only one day but they feel like one month. You understand the situation when you are in that place." Claire explaining to them. "That's the reason I never thought of expanding my business to other countries because I have to leave her." Mr. King said before he complete aunt Claire interrupt him.
Alex came forward to wish his parents and then Ana beside him greets them "Happy Anniversary Mr. King and Mrs. King" and handed them a gift she bought. "Thank you, Miss..." Claire said. "Mom I will introduce her" with that she pointed ana and said "her name is Ananya Khanna. She is the interior designer of Maldives project." "Glad to see you here. You look beautiful Ananya" Claire praised Ana. "thank you, Mrs. King". "Don't be too formal. Just call me Aunt Claire or Claire" .
All of them leave their parents and talk with other business associates. When alex introduce ana as his girl friend to others. All are shocked, mostly his friends because he never his date as a girlfriend before but why different now... Ana was shocked by his confession and did not know how to react. So she stand dumb beside his side. After introducing to all, girls left to the bar.
Jen and Fin are eager to know what happened that make alex and ana to attend together. " why alex bring you as date ana? Something something between you both" Fin asked excitingly drinking her drink. "No... Nothing. I just owe him something last time so to forgive me he used this situation." Ana explained. " what? you owe to him . when ? how we don't know it?" jen questioned.
"when we went to party on alex propose you, I behave rudely with him and pushed back . And next in the café I slap him in public..." before she continues fin interrupt her " what you slap him in public" fin asked closing her mouth with her palm. Jen also shocked by hearing her side, she never thought her friend can slap famous billionaire in the public. Both open their mouth in the shock " what ana slap alex? but alex give her a project. if any person in her place will be dead by now" Fin thought to her.
Kate went towards them and greet fin and jen. She always try to be friend with them and be a part of their group but never happened. " hello fin , jen. how are you ?" kate questioned them to start conversation. "hii. good" fin replied lightly. fin never like Kate so she maintain distance with her. "who is a new member in your batch fin? " kate asked.
kate saw ana entry and furious about it . she asked him that she will accompany him but he reject it. " i thought you bring famous model with you but alex you choose a worker works under you. " kate thought to herself. "She is our new friend Ananya Khanna . She is also Alex girlfriend. " Fin introduced Ana to kate like she is becoming her future sister in law .
Kate is furious she cannot digest those words and jealous about it to degrade ana she said " oh i saw you before.." like she is guessing she said " you are the one of the works at King company right." " yes." Ana said. Ana knows kate their last meeting end with fighting. how can she forget. "Fin are you joking how can your brother choose a employer as his girlfriend. He never choose low class people like her as his girlfriend. just stop your joking " kate said laughingly.
Jen said " stop it Kate. She is not worker at Kings company. talk carefully when you talk with others." "then what? she is a partner in his business " kate asked . " you said correctly miss." ana said moving to her side " i am his partner in interior designing. if you want to know it you can ask him" Ana said. "leave her don't spoil your mood because of her come on " Ana encouraged them . before leaving " take care of your mouth, or you are the reason to embarrass your self in this function." with that they left from there. kate was furious and thinking for a plan to humility her in the party.
Ana was drinking her drink, all her friends went to dance with their partners. Alex was talking with his partners. one person came towards ana and asked her " what a beauty like you here without a date " that person is a partner attend to this party by kate. she used him to degrade ana character before Alex. "i have a date he went to talk with his friends. " Ana explained
"So bad how can he left you with out any one here." that person said sadly. " why are you here mister. And why do you care?" Ana questioned. " I am here to accompany you miss. can i know your name miss ?" he asked " i think it is waste and don't worry your self for unknown people. you can leave now." Ana said. "Ohh miss you are here sat single without date, so i just want to ask you for a dance? " he said ."sorry mister i don't know how to dance. So can you please leave me " with that ana left from there.
When ana left kate came towards him and asked " why she left? no one here can say no to you. why she left when you ask her for a dance?" he replied" she is feisty, she did not say her name. for rejection she said she did not know how to dance."
