Chapter 3 The BillionâDollar Penalty Finished Olivia glanced at the document. It was a prenuptial agreement that clearly outlined the highâend living arrangements the Wilson family would provide her with after marrying Alexander.
Aside from that, during the marriage, the Wilson family would not give Olivia a single penny, and Alexanderâs assets would have no bearing on her. Even in the event of divorce, Olivia would receive no property.
While that was not à concern, Olivia had never been interested in Alexanderâs money. When she saw the final line, she was stunned.
âOne billion!â
Henry calmly explained, âAccording to the prenuptial agreement between Ms. Carter and Mr. Wilson, the termination of this marriage must be decided by Mr. Wilson. If Ms. Carter wishes to terminate the marriage early, you must pay a penalty of one billion.â
Olivia stared at the figure on the contract, swearing that this was the first time in her life she had ever known a oneâbillion penalty.
