Chapter 25 Why Not Use Money to Solve the Problem?
Before long, Sebastianâs phone rang with an urgent tone.
As soon as he answered...
âSebastian! I couldnât find any trace of that piece. It must be newly composed. Where did you get this sheet music? Is the composer still alive?â
Finished Hearing his friendâs frantic tone, Sebastianâs mouth twitched slightly.
âSheâs perfectly fine, so stop jinxing her!â
âSebastian! Ask her if she has sold the rights to that piece. Iâm willing to pay, whatever it takes! As long as sheâs willing to sell!â
The voice on the other end was eager.
Sebastian was speechless. âArenât you being a bit vulgar?â
For people like them, who pursue the highest realm of music, talking about money felt crude.
There was a brief silence on the other end before his friend conceded, âYouâre right! My bad! Then just give me her contact information. Iâve also just finished composing a piece; maybe we could trade?â
Someone who could compose such a piece couldnât possibly be in need o money, right?
âIâll ask her.â Sebastian chuckled.
âSebastian, Iâm counting on you! If this works out, Iâll owe you a big favor Oh, and see if she has any other compositions, Iâd love to have them all!!â
Sebastian ended the call with a smile.

To see his friend so eager to recruit Oliviaâs talent was a testament to how remarkable her sheet music truly was.
When Sebastian returned to the music room, his gaze toward Olivia had softened even more.
âYoung lady, I havenât had the pleasure of learning your name.â
âMy name is Olivia,â she replied.
Sebastian nodded slightly.
âHereâs the thing: I just sent your sheet music to a friend of mine whoâs also quite accomplished in music. Heâs very impressed with your work. Heâs a composer too, and he asked if youâd be willing to trade compositions with him.â
Olivia was speechless.
Did she need more music compositions? No, she needed money!
An exchange of musical compositions for musical compositions? Absolutely superfluous!
However, after a momentâs thought, Olivia responded, âThereâs no need to trade. If your friend is truly interested, Iâll gift the sheet music to him after our performance is over.â
Sebastianâs eyes lit up.
âThank you. Since youâre preparing for a performance, and I happen to have some free time, if Isabella comes to practice, this old man can give her some pointers.â
This was exactly what Olivia had been waiting for!
Instead of exchanging music, why not use this favor to secure a topânotch mentor for Isabella?

Since it was still early, Olivia dragged Isabella to a highâend custom dress shop.
Meanwhile, back at the Wilson family home...
Alexander sat on the couch, his long legs crossed, eyeing the grinning. Michael across from him.
âWhat brings you here?â
Michael smirked, âDonât be so cold. Youâre always flying around the world, and itâs rare to catch you at home. I thought Iâd drop by and reconnect.â
The Smith family and the Wilson family had been close for generations, and Michael and the Wilson brothers had practically grown up together.
