Chapter 5: 1-2-0: #4 Ferris State Bulldogs (Game 2)

After a discouraging loss last night, the St. Lawrence Saints return to Appleton Arena to finish the weekend series with Ferris State hoping for Kyle Hayton to have another great game. With 15:30 left in the first period, Mitch Eden scored his first goal of the season to make it 1-0 St. Lawrence. Kyle Hayton and CJ Motte matched zeros for the remainder of the period so SLU leads 1-0 heading to the second period. Hayton and Motte matched zeros in the second period so St. Lawrence clings to a 1-0 lead heading to the second intermission. With 7:52 left in the third period, Patrick Doherty scored his second goal of the season to make it 2-0 Saints! Kyle Hayton finished off the 33 save shutout and St. Lawrence wins 2-0! St. Lawrence improved to 2-2-0 on the season!
