Chapter 38: 2015 ECAC Hockey Quarterfinals: Rensselaer Engineers

After getting the number two seed and a week off last week, the St. Lawrence Saints return to Appleton Arena to open the ECAC Hockey tournament as they play the Rensselaer Engineers with a spot in championship weekend on the line. Kyle Hayton and Jason Kasdorf matched zeros  in the first period so no score at Appleton Arena after one period of play. Hayton and Kasdorf continue to stymie offenses and we remain scoreless after two in Canton. With 52 seconds left in regulation, Chris Martin scored his third goal of the season to make it 1-0 St. Lawrence! Kyle Hayton finished off the 27 save shutout and St. Lawrence wins game of this quarterfinal series by a final of 1-0!
