Chapter 33: 16-11-2: Princeton Tigers (12-5-0 ECAC Hockey)

After simply running into a red hot hockey team last night, the St. Lawrence Saints head to Princeton, New Jersey to play the Princeton Tigers at Hobey Baker Rink this evening. With 10:13 left in the first period, Patrick Doherty scored his eighth goal of the season, short handed to make it 1-0 Saints. Kyle Hayton and Colton Phinney matched zeros for the remainder of the period so SLU leads 1-0 heading to the second period. With 7:11 left in the second period, Mike Ambrosia scored to tie the game 1-1. Hayton and Phinney matched zeros for the remainder of regulation so 1-1 remains our score heading to a massive overtime. Hayton and Phinney matched zeros in overtime so we'll skate to an 1-1, overtime tie. St. Lawrence shifted to 16-11-3 on the season and 12-5-1 in ECAC Hockey play.
