Chapter 26: 11-10-2: #13 Yale Bulldogs (7-4-0 ECAC Hockey)

After a very impressive weekend last weekend, the St. Lawrence Saints return to the north country for another battle in ECAC Hockey play against Yale and Brown this weekend inside Appleton Arena. With 8:07 left in the first period, Tommy Thompson scored his fifth goal of the season to make it 1-0 St. Lawrence. Kyle Hayton and Alex Lyon matched zeros for the remainder of the period so St. Lawrence leads 1-0 heading to the second period. With 12:40 left in the second period, Mike Doherty scored to tie the game 1-1. Hayton and Lyon matched zeros for the remainder of the period so 1-1 remains our score heading to the third period. With 11:41 left in the third period, Matt Killian scored to make it 2-1 Bulldogs. With 1:13 left in the third period, Christian Horn scored his third goal of the season to tie the game 2-2. Hayton and Lyon matched zeros for the remainder of regulation so we'll head to overtime tied 2-2. With 2:17 left in overtime, Mike Marnell scored his fourth goal of the season to win the game for St. Lawrence 3-2! St. Lawrence improved to 12-10-2 on the season and 8-4-0 in ECAC Hockey play!
