After a miserable end to the first half of the season, the St. Lawrence Saints head to Boston, Massachusetts for a weekend series with the Northeastern Huskies at Matthews Arena. With 7:10 left in the first period, Brian Ward scored his fourth goal of the season, on the power play to make it 1-0 St. Lawrence. Kyle Hayton and Clay Witt matched zeros for the remainder of the period so St. Lawrence leads 1-0 heading to the second period. With 2:24 left in the second period, Sean McGovern scored his fifth goal of the season, on the power play to make it 2-0 Saints. With 1:39 left in the second period, Gunnar Hughes scored his fifth goal of the season, on the power play to make it 3-0 SLU. Hayton and Witt matched zeros for the remainder of the period so St. Lawrence leads 3-0 heading to the third period. With 18:23 left in the third period, Nolan Stevens scored to make it 3-1 Skating Saints. With 9:32 left in the third period, Trevor Owens scored to make it 3-2 St. Lawrence. With 23 seconds left in the third period, Adam Reid scored to tie the game 3-3. Hayton and Witt matched zeros for the remainder of regulation so we'll play extra hockey because of a 3-3 tie between St. Lawrence and Northeastern. Hayton and Witt matched zeros in overtime and we'll skate to a 3-3,overtime tie. St. Lawrence shifted to 8-8-2 on the season.
