After their thrid consecutive loss last night, the St. Lawrence Saints return to Appleton Arena to play the same team they did last night, the Vermont Catamounts as St. Lawrence looks to snap their three game losing streak. Kyle Hayton and Mike Santaguida matched zeros in the first period so no score after one period of play at Appleton Arena. With 5:53 left in the second period, Kevin Irwin scored to make it 1-0 Vermont. Hayton and Santaguida matched zeros for the remainder of the period so 1-0 Catamounts it remains heading to the third period. With 18:58 left in the third period, Brady Shaw scored to make it 2-0 Vermont. Mike Santaguida finished off the 35 save shutout and Vermont wins 2-0. St. Lawrence dropped to 8-8-1 on the season.
