After a disappointing loss last Saturday, the St. Lawrence Saints head to Burlington, Vermont to play the number ten nationally ranked Vermont Catamounts at Gutterson Fieldhouse in the first game of a home and home, weekend series. With 11:42 left in the first period, Mike Stenerson scored to make it 1-0 Vermont. With 9:25 left in the first period, Anthony Petruzzelli scored to make it 2-0 Catamounts. With 1:30 left in the first period, Brian Ward scored his third goal of the season, on the power play to make it 2-1 Vermont. Tyler Parks and Brody Hoffman matched zeros for the remainder of the period so 2-1 Catamounts we stand heading to the second period. Brody Hoffman finished off the Saints and Vermont wins 2-1. St. Lawrence dropped to 8-7-1 on the season.
