Matt

No sleep. That has been what's going on for the last two weeks now. I wanna pull my hair out.

"I want to scream, " I said thinking out loud.

" Yeah but that's Sia's job she literally wrote a song about it, " Josh my roommate said.

"Don't you have somewhere to be or something?" I asked.

" What you have someone to do?"

I gave him a face of disgust. "I'm sorry but I don't want to take your job especially since you're an expert, "

"Ouchhh, " alright so obviously you didn't wake up on the wrong side of the bed you woke up off the bed.

I would say I didn't sleep at all but that would only give him more reasons to make fun of me.

"I need to get a bible, " I said randomly.

" So it's about the girl?" he asked.

"That girl has a name..."

"Right Ruby, "

I shot him a glare. He put his hands up in defense " okay so Rachel obviously has you thinking, "

" I just find it very interesting that someone would love a higher being do much that their life sort of revolves around that person, "

"Go on, " he said

" I thought it was just about dating but it's more than that. It's like everything she does she has some type of biblical context to back it up. Sometimes she acts like she would die for Him, " I said shuddering at the thought.

"Him being Jesus?"

"Yes, "

"Interesting indeed, "

" I wanna know why, "

" Look it up,"

"Google can't solve every problem, "

"Pray,"

"Really?" I said giving him an annoyed look.

"Man I don't know, " Josh said giving up.

"I'm ordering a Bible, "

"Alright do I look like Amazon why are you telling me that?"

I ignored him and placed my order before getting my backpack.

"Where are you going?" he asked.

"The Cafe. Kate said she needed my help with something, "

"We are talking about the same Kate right?"

"I gave him a sarcastic smile before letting myself out, "

15 minutes later I walked into the Cafe just in time to see Kate giving a customer his order. She looked at me before going off on a rant.

" You know I never get why people send gift cards or like clothes or whatever like please send money just send money. I'm in college that's a good enough reason to send money. Aughhhhh. They literally send anything but that, " she said while ordering my regular.

" Who ticked you off now?" I asked slightly amused.

"My aunt just sent me a Starbucks and Target gift card for missing my birthday a couple of months ago, "

"Oh, well better late than never, "

"Did you not just hear what I said. I don't give a rats tail about her missing my birthday bro I just want money, "

" Rats tail?" I asked.

"Yeah, I know Rachel is starting to rub off on me with the whole no foul language thing, "

"Makes sense...how is she by the way, "

"Dude ask her yourself you guys literally run into each other, "

"We haven't had much time to talk recently, "

"Yeah, I realized ever since that day she went to talk to you now I hardly see y'all together, "

" To be fair midterms are coming up,"

"True, " she said pausing.

"You know what??" she asked while giving me my coffee

" What?"

" You should come, " she said

"No, I'm not jumping off a bridge with you, " I said not understanding what she meant.

"There you go being the apple slider you always are, "

"Wow, she really is getting to you, "

"Tell me about it. Nowadays I hate cursing, "

" Jesus is that you?" I said while looking around to get my point across.

"Oh shut up, " she said shoving me.

" I couldn't help it, " I said trying not to laugh.

" Anyways talking about Jesus you should come to Bible study this week, "

" Hmm, what's it about?"

"Christian dating something like that,"

Is that a sign?

"Sure, "

"Great I'll text you the details but right now let's focus on me. There's something I need you to help me with, "
