Chapter 15: Meeting the In-Laws.

Inside the large Dinning hall Phillip, King Jhon and Queen Ingis stood waiting for Aurora and her family when trumpets started to play, indicating they have arrived.

"They're here" Phillip said as they straight up themselves.

In the hallway Y/n, Maleficent and Aurora were making their way to the dining hall and came across a shield carved with a bear,  making Y/n grow curious.

"Have you ever considered turning me into a bear?" Y/n asked Maleficent, who glanced at her, unimpressed.

Y/n didn't notice as she continued on.

"I think I'd make quite an impressive one, don't you think? I mean look at their claws. They're so strong-"

" Why are we talking about bears?" Maleficent interrupted her.

She smiled.

"Don't tell scared of them, Maleficent?" She asked teasingly.

Maleficent smirked.

"Of course not and you and I know that"

The guards around them could not believe their eyes. Just exactly was this woman to tease the great Maleficent?

It seems like the story of Maleficent forgot out the Queen to this chess game.

~On the other side of the door~

"Presenting Queen Aurora of the Moors" Greda announced followed by the violins playing a courtly tune as the doors open revealing Aurora.

As she stepped into the room a servant to her cost and she thanked them before quickly walking you to Phillip, who met her halfway to give her a hug.

"You look wonderful" Phillip complimented her.

"I'm so happy to be here" She told him as they quickly turned to face the King and Queen.

"Aurora, this is truly an honour" King John greeted her as she cheek kissed him on both cheeks.

"Welcome to Ulstead" He greeted her as he stepped away so Ingris could greet her.

"Such a beautiful girl" Ingris said as she placed her hand on her cheek and her thumb lift her chin.

"I can see how you stole Philip's heart" Ingris smiled as she playfully touched her chin.

"Your Majesty" Aurora said as she bowed causing her to inhale the scent of the flowers in her hair.

Aroura looked at Ingris confused at why she was sniffing all of a sudden.

"The flowers in your hair. I'm allergic" She explained.

"I'm so sorry" Aurora apologized.

"Oh, no. No, no. It's all right. They're beautiful" She assured her.

"Presenting Maleficent"

The doors open to reveal Maleficent and Y/n as they walked into the room. As soon as the Master of Evil and his Mistress walked in the atmosphere changed. One servant started to shake.

"Maleficent, Lady Y/n. it's wonderful to see you again"  Phillip greeted them as the door closed behind them.

"This is my father, King John of Ulstead. And my mother, Queen Ingrith" He introduced.

"Welcome to our home"

Maleficent blinked a few things before Y/n  quickly squeezed his hand, giving his attention.

Y/n smiled.

"You could do it" She slightly spoke to him.

His harden look on his face softens at her smile before turning back to King Jhon and Ingrith.

"It's so very kind of you to invite me this evening"

"Don't smile" Y/n told him quietly.

He forced a smile.

"And, um, I would like to introduce you to Y/n she has been a second mother to me" Aroura introduced her, causing Y/n to become surprised, not expecting that.

"I trust you had no trouble finding the castle" King John said with a kind grin.

"Why would I have trouble?" Maleficent asked.

A servant approved Y/n to take her coat but with a harsh death glare from Maleficent, they immediately stepped back. Maleficent walked in front of Y/n and spread his wings so no one behind him could see them.

He took her coat off.

She was very tempted to teasing him about being overprotective of her but she decided to keep it to herself.

"He's trying to make small talk with you, dear" Y/n told him.

"Hm?"

Y/n sighed and place his hand on his cheek.

"I'll explain it later but you're doing amazing right know" She told him.

His lip started to twist as he tried to suppress a smile.

He moved away from in front of her and returned to her side.

"No trouble at all" Y/n assured the King as Maleficent waved for a servant to take Y/n's coat.

" Your Majesties, ladies and gentlemen, dinner is served" Gerda announced as the servants near the table simultaneously stepped back.

"Please, make yourselves at home" Queen Ingrith invited.
