Ruhanika pov :-
I turned and snuggle into something warm ..I open my eyes and look up to see the man my husband. I am so close to him . I can smell his fragrance. Few messy hairs were covering his forehead. I look down to see his arm wrapped around my waist ...i don't what I feel right now but my stomach is churning. The feeling is making me nervous but at the same time it's stopping me from backing away ..I push myself more closer to him but as i move closer my gaze caught the photo frame on wall . Him ,ruhi and Ishita ..i gulp down my emotions and slowly removed his arm from my waist and unwantedly leave his warm embrace...
I went in balcony and stand there as the pleasant voice hitted my face as well as my heart... Is this my life going to be so confusing, can't assure my feelings,how can I even think of question about his feelings. I push my hairs back annoyingly but they kept coming at my face ..i groan and about to make bun but a hand grab my wrist ...
"Rehne do in julfo ka chehre pr yuhi ,Chand baadlo Mai jyada haseen lgta hai " His deep morning voice make me feel thousands feelings at one time .
" Tum toh shyar nikle " I said not taking what he said seriously. I look forward his gaze was still on me.
" Can you stop staring at me ?" I said without looking at him and heard a sigh from him .
" How are you feeling now ? " He asked standing beside me
" Better.. wbu" I throw the question back at him
"Completely fine " he said making me nod .
For few minutes there was just a silence until he broke
" Why are you so quiet? " He asked frustratedly.
" I thought you enjoy silence " I replied
" Not more than your unnecessary rants " he said
" Stop it Ekansh..just please for God sake stop being so nice with me . You yourself are crossing the boundaries which you made once " I don't know what's gotten into me that let to sudden outburst.
I took a deep breath and leave the room leaving him standing in the balcony.
I went downstairs to saw everyone in kitchen dad , Rohan and ruhi , shivangi.
" What are you guys doing? " I asked
" You both need to rest beta .. we are preparing dinner" dad replied making me smile
" I am lot better now , let me help you " I said picking the veggies but Rohan stopped me and drag me to couch...
" Madam just sit on couch and watch your favourite series. " Rohan said
" I don't like to watch tv alone " I said getting up but Rohan made me sit again
" Bhabs ..your devar is here ." He said and on the tv and the movie om shanti om was playing...
Soon everyone indulge in cooking and me and Rohan was watching the movie . And a scene come where Deepika dupataa get tucked in sharukh watch ...
" There was a time when I wished that  i could also live this moment but I guess it's not in my fate " I said not until i heard my phone ringing.i forgot it in our room...
Author pov :-
As Ruhanika was going upstairs she saw ekansh coming downstairs..they both made an eye contact for a second but break it ..
Ruhanika pov :-
Did I said too much? I questioned myself but as I was going to pass he forwarded my phone towards me .
" Thanks" I said and turn downstairs not until i feel a tuck and look back only to see my dupatta get stuck with ekansh watch ...
" Ruhanika if you asked for something else today maybe you will get it too " Rohan said while chuckling...i pull my dupatta and went to dinning room .
I ignored his special compliment and went downstairs... Everybody was having dinner .. my gaze went towards Ekansh he is eating quietly..did i said too much ?
Soon everybody completed dinner during whole time I was stealing glancing at him but his gaze was blank ....the guilt was eating me for shouting at him .
As everybody went to there room and I was going towards mine .. shivangi suddenly stopped me .
" I want to tell you something " shivangi said
" What ? " I said looking at her tensed face .
" I saw Nitika today near our college.. by any chance she come back for ekansh? " She said and unknown emotions surrounded me. I was feeling insecure cause of Ishita photo in ekansh room and here now Nitika...
" It's ok let's leave it ..good night" I said to her good night but only I know sleep is far from my eyes .
As I enter in room my guilt deepend seeing Ekansh adjusting on couch ...
" Why are you sleeping on couch " I asked
But he didn't answer and cover himself with duet ..
" Ekansh I am asking you " I said frustratedly...
" Ekansh if one thing i hate that is getting ignored... And you are doing that ..." I said but all i recived is silence...
I pull the duet but he didn't leave.
" I said get up Ekansh... " I said pulling the duet .. but he suddenly pull back the duet resulting me getting collapse on him ..
Ekansh pov :
I pull back the duet making Ruhanika fall on me but my heart stopped beating for a second when Ruhanika lips made contact with my neck ...I feel like thousand sparks rush inside me ...like somebody set me on fire ...
She immediately get up from me with her beetroot cheeks ..I was about to turn but she pull me up by my collar..
" Answer me why are you ignoring me " she said glaring at me
" Cause I don't wanna make you uncomfortable.." i replied calmly as i softly remove her hands from my collar
" You are comfort.. I am sorry I just feel frustrated" she confessed
" About what " I asked but she didn't spoke anything but i noticed her gaze going towards the photo frame of Ishita me ...I cursed myself internally
" I am sorry" I said
" No need it's ok she is your past -
" And you are present.. I know we made things clear but still you are human you get hurt too i should be cautious..." I said getting up removing the photo
" You don't need to I don't wanna replace -
" You are not a replacement or substitute Ruhanika. You are the brightest star in my dark night sky " I said removing the frame ...
" The wall is looking empty now " she murmured making me chuckled...
I went near her and pull her cheeks
" You are cute " i said and took the bedsheet and went to bed ....
Ruhanika pov :-
Stop blushing like a teenager Ruhanika... He just meant you are silly ...
I went to study table and open the books and drown myself in books...
Next morning:-
I was combing my hair not until I saw ruhi coming to me
" Mumma someone is downstairs..." She said as nobody is home except us ..
I went downstairs with her only to get my eyes widened..
