I woke up feeling someone playing with my hair.
"taeju?" I asked opening my eyes.
I looked up and saw Gang Jae. I sat up in fear.
"whoa, whoa, calm down" Gang Jae said looking at me.
"I saw what you did last night, you got a pretty bad wound down your leg" he said looking at my leg.
"I came in and cleaned you up" he said looking back at me. I looked at my clothes and saw it was changed.
"don't worry, I let one of the girls around here change for you" he said making me look back at him.
we looking at each other without any of us talking. Gang Jae sighs.
"you won't say anything" he asked hoping that I'll speak but I didn't. I kept looking at him disappointed.
"don't give that look, I hate it" he said trying to not get mad.
"why? Do you think I'm proud for what you have done? Attacking the boss's place and our group. You have change way to much that I am really disappointed at you, you are not my brother that I used to know" I said.
he inhaled loudly. "stop it" he said standing up.
"why? Why should I stop? The brother that I know won't do anything like this, the brother I know was a good guy and help around the others by their practice, the brother I know won't try and rape a teenage girl, I told you not to do anything stupid but you did, you told me you'll do the best you have and you did and I was proud of you but what you did, made me disappoint in you" I said as a tear fall.
"SHUT THE FUCK UP!" he shouted putting his hand on my mouth.
"WHY?! DON'T YOU WANT TO HEAR THE TRUTH?! HUH?!" I pulled his hand down and shouted at him.
"SHUT UP!" he shouted slapping me making me fall on the bed. I put my hand on my cheek and looked at him.
"yeah, I won't be surprised by that" I said as I went to the beginning of the bed cuddling my body together.
I looked at him as he walked out the room locking the door. I kept staring at nothing thinking about how is taeju's condition until I heard the door starting to unlock.
I looked at it and saw a guy with some food. "here" he said and put the food on the bed then went out locking the door.
I pulled the tray toward me and saw that it was a meat with rice and some kimchi. I start eating the food. I finished the food and put it on the table next to the bed. I lay down and stare at the wall.
I closed my eyes trying to get myself to sleep, but I couldn't as I felt myself wanting to threw up. I stood up and ran to the bathroom vomiting everything I just ate. I breathed heavily as I sat up tiredly.
I stood up and went to the bed. I threw myself on it as I still breathing heavily. I closed my eyes from tiredness.
A few minutes later, I heard the door opened. I opened my eyes with tiredness and saw Gang Jae with a worried look on his face.
"are you okay?" he asked walking to me. I turned my body the other way.
"I'm fine" I said closing my eyes.
"are you really okay? I'll bring a doctor" he said.
"I said I am fine" I said getting angry.
"okay as you wish" he said and walked out of the room. I sigh and feel myself falling asleep.

Next day

"yah" I woke up by someone speaking. I opened my eyes and saw Gang Jae.
"you sleep a lot; thought you were dead" he said as he light up a cigarette.
"what do you need?" I say and turn away as he blow the smoke.
"can you stop smoking? Its making me sick" I said putting my hand on my nose. he smirked.
He went to the window and threw the cigarette away.
"since when you get sick? I thought you were smoking too" he said closing the window.
"why do you care?" I said looking at him.
"you vomit last night and now you are getting sick of smoking, isn't it enough reasons to care?" he said looking at me. I didn't answer him and looked away.
"anyways, let's go" he said walking to the door.
"where?" I asked.
"we gonna have some fun didn't I said that last?" he said. I sigh and stand up. I limped outside the room.
"let's go" he said as he walk. I limp trying to catch up with.
"can you slow down here?" I said.
he looked at me and stopped walking as I catch up with him. he start walking slowly with me.
Big doors opened. I saw two men fighting as there was a lot of men and girls drinking.
Gang Jae walked toward an empty couch as sat on it and I followed him.
"where is that cunt hiding?" I heard a familiar voice.
I turned and saw Cheol Ho. He looked at me.
"whoa, what do we have here? It's been a long time, Y/N" Cheol Ho said as he took a glass and drink.
I ignored him and sat next to Gang Jae.
"I'll let you have a taste when I get her" Gang Jae said pouring more drink in his glass.
"what the hell? Are you drunk?" Cheol Ho asked him as he chuckles.
"I forgot, you can't fuck her anyway!" Gang Jae shouted looking at Cheol Ho.
"you motherfucker" Cheol Ho shouted getting closer to him. Gang Jae put a cigarette.
"so, let's catch her and then we'll kill her" Gang Jae said. they were talking about Jiwoo.
"why aren't we getting any buyers? We gave out plenty of stock!" he said looking at the two men fighting.
"should I call mango?" Cheol asked.
"you think mango is getting funny ideas?" Gang Jae said.
"what? You're the one who made the new drugs?" I asked him. he looked at me and start laughing. He turned back looking at the fight.
"YES!" He shouted. He took money and walked to field and throw the money and then sat back.
"Y/N, you need some drink?" Cheol Ho said giving me a glass.
I looked at him and took it. I took a sip but spit it out directly. Cheol Ho start laughing.
"what is wrong with you?" Gang Jae asked.
"I don't know this place making me sick" I said putting the drink on the table. He called the guard.
"take her to the doctor" Gang Jae said. he nodded.
"you need to go" Gang Jae said looking me.
I sigh and stand up following the guards. We walked out the club and entered a corridor.
I looked around but there was none here except us. I stopped walking.
"continue walking" the guard said. I turned and looked at them.
"stupid guard" I said and took his head and slammed it on my leg then to the wall making him pass out.
I took his gun and start to find a way out of this place. I stood in front the club. There was a stair.
I got down and saw the front door. I walked to it and opened it. There was two guards and I knock them out.
"where do you think you are going?" I turned and saw Gang Jae. I was about to run but he pulled me inside by my hair making me groan in pain.
"why?" he asked pulling me closer to him. He walked toward me with unstable steps as I step back every time he walked.
He caught my hair and pulled me with him. he threw me inside a car and got in the driver seat and start driving.
"where are we going?" I asked.
"to a place you can't run away from it" he said looking at me from the mirror. He speed up.
he entered a car yard and stopped the car. he got out and opened the back door pulling me out.
"yah, stop" I shouted.
"sir" a group of men came stood in front of us.
"put here inside and lock her until I come back tomorrow" he said and pushed me toward them. I looked at him.
"yah, you can't leave me here" I said as I was about to walk toward him, but his men holds me. He chuckled and walked away.
"you sick bastard" I shouted as they pushed me inside.
They put me in an empty room and locked the room. I sigh and sit in a corner.
A few minutes later, the door opened and there was two men brought a mattress. They put it down and then put a pillow and a blanket then went out locking the door. I stood up and lay down covering myself. I sigh and just stared at the top wall.

The door opened. I looked up and saw a guy with a bag in his hand.
"here, eat this" he said giving me the bag.
"it's a cheese sandwiches" he said looking at me.
"thank you" I said.
he nodded and was about to get out.
"can-can you bring me some plaster and ointment?" I asked him.
"why?" he said. "my leg is wounded, and the doctor said I should change the plaster every four hour and I hadn't change it from yesterday" I said showing him the wound. He nodded and walked out. I opened the sandwich and ate them.
30 minutes later, the guy came in. "here" he gave me a plaster and the ointment and a battle of water.
"thank you" I said taking it from him. he walked out and I change the plaster. I drank water then went to sleep.

Next day

I woke up at the sound of cars fixing. I covered my eyes from the light of the sun and turned to the other way. I heard the door opening.
"good morning!" Gang Jae entered smiling. I looked at him.
"how did you sleep sister? Was it comfortable?" he asked kneeling in front of me.
"anyways, did you do it with taeju?" he asked as his face became serious.
"did what with him?" I asked.
"you know, sleeping with him" he said standing up.
"why are you asking?" I said looking at him.
he sighed and got a bag from his pocket throwing it to me.
"I guess you should take it" he said looking away.
I opened the bag and saw a pregnancy test box.
"you have got to be kidding me" I said throwing the box at him.
"what? It's the only thing got in my mind. vomiting, sleeping a lot, and can't bear the smell of cigarette, all these reasons saying that you are pregnant" he said looking at me.
'it can't be? Can't it?' I thought in myself.
"okay then, do whatever you want" he said and about to walk out of the room.
"can I go to the bathroom?" I asked him.
he looked at me. He nodded and turned. I stand up and took the box without him seeing. We walked downstairs.
"the toilet is that way" he said pointed at the white door.
I walked to it and got inside. I got out the pregnancy test. I sigh and do the steps. I put the test in my pocket and wash my hand.
"yah, what is taking you so long" I heard Gang Jae shouting. I opened the door.
"can't a woman take her privacy in peace" I said looking at him. I walked pass him and went to the room.
One of the men came and locked the door. I took out the pregnancy test, but the results didn't show yet. I waited a few minutes. I turned and saw the screen of the stick. It say 'pregnant'. I sigh putting away the test and lay down on the mattress. I put my hand on my stomach. I took a deep breath and let it out. I looked at the wall and with time the sleep took me away.

I woke up and saw that it was night. I sat up looking at nothing. Suddenly the door opened, and a man came in pulling my arm up.
"GET UP!" he shouted.
He pushed me outside the room and went downstairs. He walked in speed making me walk in the same speed.
I looked in front of me and saw the Gang Jae's men standing next to him. the man threw me on the floor. I groan in pain as they tie my hands.
I looked up and saw Jiwoo and a guy next to her. I was shocked seeing her here. I turned as I heard Gang Jae laughing.
"a fortune-teller told me... this would be a lucky year for me" he said as his giggle went to laugh.
He kneeled in front of Jiwoo and make a gun with his hand putting it on her head.
"bang, Oh Hyejin, Oh hyejin detective" he said taking her police ID. He wrap it around her neck bringing her closer to him.
"lovely to see you, you fucking bitch" he said. she pushed his hand away and put her arm on her shoulder.
"untie me, what? You still can't beat me in a fair fight?" she said in a calm voice.
"you still have that look in your eyes, like you fear nothing" he said stabbing her leg making her groans. He turned the knife.
"yah, stop it" I said looking at him, but he ignored me.
"now, this look I like" he said pulling out the knife and pushed away. Gang Jae took his phone out and called someone.
"did you get him?" he said.
"ahh, those idiots" he sighs and put the phone back.
"well, I didn't wanna go empty-handed, so I've been preparing a gift for you, look here" he said taking a picture of us. And that's when I knew that he was taking to the boss. He stood up.
"Hurry up there isn't much time, if you wanna get a corpse" he said stepping on Jiwoo's leg.
"you thought you were something special, didn't you? You are...absolutely nothing" he said.
"let detective jeon go, he has nothing to do with this" Jiwoo said breathing heavily.
"how about you...just worry about what I'm about to do to you, I'll play with you all night long" he said and was pushed by the guy next to Jiwoo. Gang Jae laughed as his men kicked the guy.
"aargh, goddamn" Gang Jae shouted.
"I wanted Choi Mujin to watch you die" he shouted pouting.
"Detective, Detective! Say your last words, I'll relay it for you" he said kneeling in front of Jiwoo and hold her face closer to his.
"I'll kill as soon as I can" she said. Gang Jae chuckles and her head then pushed her. He stand up.
"do it" he said and went away.
the men took me, Jiwoo, and the guy and put us in a van. They tied us.
"this might hurt like hell, as I crushed you, your skull will crack open and your brain will ooze out, it would be fun to watch, but I don't have the time" he said to Jiwoo.
"sis, it was pleasure to see you again, but I don't care about what will happen to you anymore" he said looking at me.
"you bastard" I said.
"see ya" he said and walked away.
a man came and closed the van's door. me and Jiwoo looked at each other when we heard a machine powering up and the van start moving.
I tried to break the chain, but it didn't work. I looked up as I heard another machine. A machine got inside the van and holds the van.
I fall next to the guy as the van went to left. The guy tried to pull the chain of Jiwoo, but it didn't work.
"Gang Jae!" the guy shouted.
The van was pushed inside something then the vans top start to creaking. The guy start hitting the metal that Jiwoo was chained in with his leg until it breaks and my chain out of nowhere was broke.
Jiwoo went to the guy and tried to help him so did I. "go out! Both of you!" he shouted.
Me and Jiwoo tried to push ourselves out as the van's top was close to crash us. I heard a car honk and a car crash. Then the machine stopped.
Jiwoo falls out of the van. I looked at the guy. "are you okay?" I asked him.
he looked at me as he groans and nodded. Jiwoo stood up and helped me out. I looked at the car and saw the boss with blood on his face.
we heard the police siren wailing. I looked at the boss. He nodded to me. We walked away from Jiwoo. I turned when I heard the machine start again.
"no, they'll catch you" the boss said stopping me from going back.
I looked at him. he groans putting his hand on his side. "are you okay?" I asked looking at him.
he nodded and started walking. I followed him. I ripped my shirt sleeve.
"here, put it on the wound until we arrive to the hotel" I said giving him the ripped sleeve. He took it and put it to on his wound then we make our way to the hotel.

We entered the hotel and taeju directly called the doctor. The boss lay on the couch tiredly. The doctor start helping the boss.
"are you okay?" taeju asked me.
"I'm fine don't worry" I said looking at him. he nodded and hugged me. I hugged him back. the doctor went out.
"are you all right, sir?" taeju asked the boss. The boss sigh standing in front the window and took a sip from the drink.
"why did you go alone?" taeju asked.
"Gang Jae attempted to kill Jiwoo and Y/N" the boss said.
"so, because of Jiwoo, you could have been killed" taeju said. the boss turned and looked at him.
"Jiwoo shot the gun of the ship" the boss said.
"she did?" I asked. He looked at me and nodded then turned his look at taeju.
"she perform the action at the risk of exposing herself" he said walking toward taeju. He stood in front of him.
"what did you do? Huh? Taeju, taeju!" the boss shouted grabbing taeju's neck.
"can you be trusted?" the boss asked him.
"I'm sorry, sir" he said looking down. The boss pushed him and walked away. taeju walked out of the office. The boss sit on his chair.
"what happen sir?" I asked confusing. The boss looked at me then sighs.
"he tried to help the police" the boss said looking at me.
"what?!" I said shocked.
The boss nodded and took a sip from his drink. I sigh. The boss took out a cigarette and light it.
"do you want?" he said offering me a cigarette.
"I can't" I said.
"why?" he asked putting the cigarette away.
I sigh and pull out the pregnancy test stick and gave it him. he looked at it and his eyes went wide. He looked at me.
"is that true? Are you pregnant?" he asked standing up and walked toward me. I looked at him and nodded.
"when did you find out?" he asked. "today in morning" I said. he put out his cigarette.
"did you Gang Jae know?" he said.
"he guessed, he's the one who gave the stick, but I refuse doing it and when I went to the bathroom I took it without him knowing" I said.
"let's sit on the couch" he said. we walked and sat on the couch.
"okay, here how it goes, you are going to rest until your pregnancy is stable, okay?" he said.
"but what about the work?" I asked.
"don't worry about the work, we have a lot of men here" he said. I nodded.
"are you planning on telling taeju?" he asked.
"yes, but not at the meantime" I said. he nodded.
"okay, you can go to your room now, take a shower and rest" he said. I nodded.
I stood up and took the pregnancy stick then walked out of the office and went to my room. I took of all my clothes and entered the shower.

I wrapped a towel around my body and another one on my hair. I walked out of the bathroom and wore my clothes. I lay on bed closing my eyes resting.
I heard a knock on the door. I stood up and walked to the door. I opened it.
"the boss send this for you" one of the men said giving me a big bag. I took it. He bowed and walked away.
I closed the door and looked at the bag. It was food. I smiled then sat on the bed and ate.
After I ate, I threw the food in the trash can. I heard another knocking on the door. I walked and opened the door. it was taeju standing in front of the room door. I sigh and look down.
"so, the boss did tell you" he said looking at me. I looked at him.
"why did you do it? Huh?" I asked him. he kept quiet and looking at me.
"it isn't you, Jiwoo sacrifice herself to keep us safe and that's how you return her?" I said. he looked down.
"I don't want to see you tonight" I said and closed the door. I went and lay on the bed.

I was laying on the bed while eating some snacks. I heard my phone rings. I looked at it and saw it was the boss.
"yes, sir" I said.
"you don't need to call me that anymore" he said.
"I can't call you by your name, it became a habit to call you sir, sir" I said smiling.
"anyways, have you eaten?" he asked.
I looked at the snacks I was eating it.
"no" I said.
"okay, me and taeju are going to eat, you want to come?" he asked.
"things are okay between taeju and you?" I asked.
"yes" he said.
"okay, I'll come" I said getting up.
"okay, we'll wait for you in front the hotel" he said and closed the call.
I wore my jacket and walked out of the room. I walked out and saw taeju and the boss waiting in the car.
I entered in the front sit. "sir" I said bowing to him. "let's go" he said. I looked at taeju and then he start driving.
We stopped at the usual restaurant we went to it. We entered and sat down.
"ma'am, bring three samgyetang" the boss said.
"okay" she answered.
"so, what are you planning to do sir?" I asked.
"we'll see what narcotics does next, Gang Jae will show up if driven to a corner" he said.
I nodded. I looked at taeju and he was already staring at me.
"is your arm okay?" I asked him looking at his arm.
"yeah, it's still healing" he said. I smiled and held his hand.
A few minutes, the old woman came with the food. we eat.
"did Gang Jae do anything for you?" the boss said. I looked at him.
"no, he just locked me in a room and when I tried to run away he caught me and locked me in the car yard" I said. the boss nodded.
"how's your leg" he asked. "its fine, I had to restitch it" I said and ate the food.
"we'll let the doctor see it when we get back" the boss said. I nodded and we all ate our food.
We got inside the car after taeju paid for the food. he start driving to the hotel. We parked in front the hotel. We got inside the boss office.
"taeju, I want you to search for Jiwoo tomorrow" the boss said sitting on the chair.
"yes, sir" taeju said and bowed for him.
"okay, both of you can go, and Y/N, go to the doctor to check you stitches" the boss said.
I nodded and both of me and taeju went out of the office.
"okay, I'll see you later" taeju said and walked away.
I make my way to the doctor's office. I knock the door and enter the office.
"oh, Y/N, good thing that you came here, the boss told me that you are pregnant, let check on your stitches then on your pregnancy" he said. I walked to a bed and lay on it.
He pulled my pants up and removed the plaster.
"it cut, didn't it?" he asked looking at me. I nodded.
"well good thing that your wound is not infected" he said.
"I guess it's time to remove it" he said.
he brought a scissors and start cutting the stitches.
"done, well done on stitching it on your own" the doctor said and covered the wound.
"pull up your shirt" he said as he changed the gloves. he sat down in front of a machine. He put a jell on my stomach.
"let's see" he said as he put the ultrasound on my stomach.
I took a deep breath. I heard a heartbeat. I looked at the doctor and he was smiling.
"well, you've have been a few weeks pregnant, your baby's condition is doing pretty good, that's his heartbeat" he said. I smiled to him. he pulled the ultrasound away.
"that's your baby" he said pointing at the screen. I looked at it and smiled.
"here some tissue, clean the jell and the photo will be ready" he said.
I took the tissue and cleaned my stomach and put my shirt down. I sat up and the doctor gave me the photo.
"thank you doctor" I said.
he smiled and then walked away. I stood up and got out of the doctor's office. I walked to the boss office.
"why are you still up? you should be sleeping" the boss said looking at me. I walked to him and gave him the photo.
"what's that?" he said taking the photo and looked at it.
"oh, is that?" he said and looked at me. I nodded.
"wow, what a cute little thing" he said smiling at the photo.
"congratulation on you pregnancy, Y/N" the boss said giving me the photo.
"thank you sir" I said taking it from him.
"Mujin, Y/N, Mujin" he said.
"thank you, si.. Mujin" I said bowing to him.
"okay, go to rest" he said. I nodded and went to me room. I laid on the bed staring at the photo and slept staring at it.
