I closed my eyes as I took Piper’s hands, “I will do my best.”

Piper took my hand and touched her head, then she kissed it, “Thank you Luna… what would we do without you?”

I sighed as Piper left me and walked to Warrick, she whispered to him from behind and he turned to me. “Thank you, Luna… If you can save me from this I will worship at your feet everyday.”

I furrowed my brows as I stopped a laugh, “You have to worship the moon goddess, not her servant like me.”

Warrick nodded. “Aurora… Thank you so much.” He turned to Piper and they smiled at each other before they hugged in front of me.

“This problem will soon be fixed, you’ll see, now that Aurora is involved she will fix it all,” Piper said and Warrick laughed out.

“Oh… thank goodness,” Piper turned to me, “We better leave you to come up with a plan now… if you need our help, just call us okay?”

I parted my lips to speak and before I could say anything they both left in joy.

My heart throbbed as I saw how joyful they were. I feel good that they are both finally happy, but the fact that they had put so much responsibility on me with so much trust, I just don’t feel good about it.

What if I fail them… their love life and future depends on what I do from now on.

I got up and paced the room, my hand rubbing my forehead as I tried to come up with something.

I think I need to go back to where this all began, the pictures.

I picked up my phone and dialled Evander’s number.

“Hello? Are you back with the kids? Alright, good, come to my office now, please.”

I ended the call.

I dropped the phone as I stroked the bridge of my nose.

Piper and Warrick asked me to call them if I need their help, but I can’t call them in anything I am doing.

Alina would expect them to do something, so she would keep an eye on them. I can’t let her get a wink of my plans.

Evander is the right one to help me on this, because according to Alina, Evander loves Piper and would even be glad if Warrick gets separated from her, so I’m sure she would never be suspicious of him.

Miles… he would come in handy too.

I smiled as I leaned on the table, “Things are slowly getting set…

I will make sure to expose Alina in three nights time.”

Suddenly a knock sounded on my door. “Come in.” I said

The door opened and Alina walked in.

I was shocked to see her walking in, heavily pregnant. I stared at her frozen for a while.

I am sure she had come to know my take on this matter, I can’t let her suspect a thing. I have to play this game well as though I pity her.

“Oh,” I said, forcing a smile as I quickly grabbed a chair and pushed it closer to her. “Alina, you didn’t have to go through the trouble of coming all the way here. You could have just sent someone to call me or deliver a message.”

I held her arm and I helped her sit, “Please tell me why you’ve

come?”

Alina smiled brightly, and she started, “I am glad you’ve accepted me back into the pack, Luna.”

“Who told you I accepted you?” I asked her as I narrowed my gaze at her.

“Huh,” she asked as she looked down, dejectedly. I was sure a lot

was going on in her mind.

“I mean, I do not just accept… we will throw a welcome party for you, Alina.”

Her jaw dropped. “Really?”

I nodded. “You have been gone for so long, only because of some childish mistakes you had made… I know you have changed and now that the pack is peaceful, I am throwing a party for every one of the pack members who have turned to a new life. You, Rowan. Miles, Lila and the rest of them.”

“Wow.. that’s great, Luna.”

I nodded. “Just a little get–together party to strengthen the bond. of the pack and revive its oneness.”

“Nice…” Alina nodded like a lizard.

I smiled as she stared into space. I am sure she had no idea that I was on to her now.

“Now, tell me why you came, Alina.”

“I came to tell you about this,” she rubbed her tummy. I sighed.

“Now, tell me why you came, Alina.”

“I came to tell you about this,” she rubbed her tummy. I sighed. The poor child doesn’t know the kind of mother that he was coming to meet.

“Warrick is actually the father… I am not lying, Luna.”

I nodded my head as I touched her shoulder, “Don’t worry… I know men love to escape from responsibilities, but I will make sure Warrick does the right thing, okay?”

Alina nodded, “Thanks Luna…”

I smiled. The door opened and I looked up to see Evander walk in. He stared at Alina as he passed her. “Good day, Alina.”

Alina turned to him with a smile, “Good day, Sir.” Alina turned to me, “I will take my leave now Luna… I think you have some business to do.”

I nodded at her, she got up and left. Evander took his seat and I took my seat right behind the desk.

“What have you called me for, Aurora?” Evander said as he stretched his legs. “I was in the middle of a nap, the kids made me walk all around the pack today, my legs are killing me,”

I shifted a set of files to him, “Take a look at these, tell me what you think about them.”

Evander raised a brow at me, but he obliged and checked the property papers. “Good… they are all done nicely… but…”

I raised a finger and shut him up. I know he was going to question why I had given him these papers.

But I turned my phone to him and his lips formed an Oh, as he saw Alina outside eavesdropping on our conversation, through

the CCTV camera connected on my phone.

“So now check the papers… I don’t want any mistakes on them

at all,” I said and winked to Evander, he smirked.

“Right… I will be done in a minute…” Evander said.
