Chapter 50: Chhutti

SidNaaz Ki Duniya: Collection of Short Stories and OS ✅Words: 25179

Here's my another one shot. It is not a love story. It is dedicated to all the housewives here and especially to my Mummy. Women are the most important part of a family and every family is incomplete without them. Day and night they works so much for us. It's not only their responsibility, it's their unconditional love for us. So we should treat them with respect and sometimes we should care about their likes and dislikes also.

Happy Women's Day ❤️❤️❤️

It was a small apartment. In a room a couple was sleeping peacefully. Suddenly the phone's alarm started ringing.

The woman's sleep broke. She stopped the alarm and looked at her phone. It was 7.00 am. She understood that she had to wake up now. She looked at her husband's sleeping face and smiled. Then she got up from the bed.

She went to the washroom and got freshen. Coming out of the washroom, she straight went to the kitchen.

She looked at the utensils which were kept in the sink. Last night her maid told her on phone that she was not coming. So she herself started washing them.

After it was done she became busy in other household chores.

It was 8.30 am. She hurriedly went to her children's room and started waking them up.

"Zoro! Zara! Come on, wake up! It's 8.30." she said pulling their blanket.

"Mummy thodi der sone do na please!" Said Zoro in a sleepy voice holding his blanket tightly.

"School miss ho jayega. Zaldi utho."

"5 minutes only." Said Zara in a sleepy voice.

"No Zara. No more excuses. Get up." Said their mother sternly removing their blanket forcefully.

Both Zoro and Zara sat up rubbing their eyes.

Their mother started making them ready for school. After that she went to the kitchen and started making their breakfast.

By then her husband also woke up and started getting ready for office.

"Mummy meri math ki homework copy nahi mil rahi. Screamed Zara and she immediately went to her room.

She found her homework copy and gave it to her. She again went to the kitchen when she heard another scream.

"Mummy mere colour pencils kaha rakhe hai?" Asked Zoro loudly.

"Bag mein dekh."

"Nahi mil rahe."

She sighed and again went to their room.

After finding the colour pencils, she was going to the kitchen when her husband called her.

"Sana where's my file? Uss din maine tumhe hi diye the na?"

Sana sighed and went to her husband.

She took out the file from the drawer and said giving it to him, "Drawer mein hi the Sidharth. Tumhe baata ke hi toh rakhi thi."

"Accha? Sorry yaad nahi tha." Said Sidharth and started checking the file.

Sana nodded her head in disbelief and went back to the kitchen.

Having their breakfast, Zoro and Zara went to school with Sidharth at 10.00 am. Everyday he used to drop them at school in his way to office.

After they left, Sana gave a sigh of relief. She was now feeling little relaxed. She thought to take rest for sometime when her eyes fell on the dust on the walls. She forgot about taking rest and decided to do some cleaning.

Whole day she kept doing the household chores.

At 1.00 pm she became free and started scrolling her phone sitting on the sofa.

But exactly after 30 minutes, she remembered that today was Saturday. It meant Zoro and Zara's school would be over at 2.00 pm.

She kept her phone aside and immediately got dressed. Then she left for school.

Picking up Zoro and Zara from the school, she returned home with them. They all started having lunch together.

"Mom phir se brocolli? You know I hate broccolis." Said Zoro making faces.

"Broccolis are good for health. Zara bhi toh khaa rahi hai. Tu bhi khaa chup chap." Said Sana sternly.

Zoro started eating without complaining.

After having lunch, Sana decided to take a nap. But then Zoro and Zara asked her help to complete their assignments. So Sana had to help them.

At Night...

Sidharth came home and Sana gave him water. They both talked for few minutes about how his day went in the office. After that he started watching TV and spending time with his kids while Sana became busy preparing the dinner.

At last, she made her children's bed and left their room not before kissing their heads.

Then she came to her room where Sidharth was packing his bag. As soon as he saw Sana, he said, "What is this Sana? Maine kaha tha na kaal mera business trip hai? Mera bag pack kar ke rakhna."

Sana suddenly remembered that and said, "Sorry Sidharth, dimaag se nikal gaya. Asal mein subah se itna kaam tha. Ruko main abhi kar deti hoon..."

Sana tried to help him but Sidharth stopped her and said sternly, "Rehne do. Ab main aa gaya hoon toh main khud hi kar lunga."

Sana didn't say anything understanding that his mood was off.

"Socha tha kaal subah subah uth na hai toh aaj zaldi so jaaunga. Lekin nahi. Meri utni kismat kaha hai? Office mein bhi pura din kaam karna padhta hai aur ghar aa ke bhi. Naukar samajh ke rakha hai sabne." Murmured Sidharth angrily while packing his bag.

Sana felt bad hearing that and said, "Itna gussa kyu ho rahe ho? Kaha na sorry? Bhul gayi thi main. Maid nahi aayi thi, ghar pe kaam tha bohut...."

"Oo please!" Said Sidharth loudly cutting in between. "Kya kaam haan? Office jaana padha tumhe? Nahi na? Pura din toh ghar pe baithi rehti ho. Aur zara sa packing karne ka time nahi mila."

Sana's eyes became teary.

"Matlab main ghar pe koi kaam nahi karti?" Asked Sana little loudly.

"Dekho Sana maine aisa nahi kaha."

"Matlab toh yeh hi tha na? Tum kehna chahte ho ki pura din sirf tum kaam karte ho? Aur main ghar pe baith ke aram karti hoon. Hai na?"

"Sana I was just...."

Sidharth suddenly stopped seeing Zoro and Zara standing near the door.

"Tum dono yaaha pe kya kar rahe ho?" He asked looking at them.

Sana immediately wiped her tears and looked at them.

"Woh... Humein neend nahi aa rahi thi." Said Zoro.

"Mummy aap humein stories suna dengi?" Asked Zara.

"Tum dono room mein jaao. Main aati hoon." Replied Sana.

Zoro and Zara nodded and left from there. Sana looked at Sidharth who again concentrated on packing. She sadly went to Zoro and Zara's room.

She lied between her children and started telling story. But Zoro and Zara understood her sadness.

"Aap sad ho na Mummy?" Asked Zara suddenly and Sana paused.

She smiled forcefully and asked, "Nahi toh. Why will I be sad?"

"Kyu ki Daddy ne aap ko daanta." Said Zoro.

Sana's face turned pale. But she again smiled and said, "Hum dono sirf baat kar rahe the."

"Toh phir Daddy ka voice itna loud kyu hogaya tha?" Asked Zoro.

"Umm.... Daddy office mein bohut kaam karte hai na? Isliye work pressure ki wajah se kabhi kabhi woh thode loud ho jaate hai."

"Par Mummy kaam toh aap bhi karte ho, woh bhi Daddy se zyada." Said Zara.

"Aur Daddy ko toh har Sunday chhutti milti hai. Aap ko toh woh bhi nahi milti." Said Zoro.

"Chhutti?" Asked Sana.

"Haan Mummy. Chhutti toh sabhi ko milni chahiye. Humein milti hai, Daddy ko milti hai, yaaha tak Gauri Masi ko bhi milti hai... Toh phir aap ko kabhi chhutti kyu nahi milti?"

Sana started thinking deeply.

"Paata nahi." She replied at last.

"Main toh kehta hoon aap ek din chhutti le hi lo." Said Zara.

"Aur phir pura din aap sirf masti karna." Said Zoro.

Sana smiled slightly hearing them.

After making them sleep, Sana returned to her room. Sidharth was talking to someone on phone.

"Okay... Yeah I understood... Sure...."

Saying that he cut the call. Then he looked at Sana and said, "Suno na, meri business trip postponed hogayi hai. Main Tuesday ko nikal raha hoon. Accha hi hua. Kaal Sunday hai. Thoda rest le lunga. Main kaal der tak sone wala hoon, thik hai? Zoro aur Zara zaldi uth gaye toh unhe keh dena mujhe disturb na kare."

Sana just nodded in yes.

"Good night." Said Sidharth covering himself with the blanket.

Sana also lied beside him while thinking about something.

In The Morning....

"Daddy utho!!!"

"Utho na Daddy!"

Said Zoro and Zara almost jumping on Sidharth.

"Yaar yeh toh uth hi nahi rahe." Said Zara making a sad pout, looking at Zoro.

"Ruk main kuch karta hoon." Said Zoro.

He leaned towards Sidharth and screamed near his ears, "Daddyyyyyyy!"

"Yes Boss." Said Sidharth loudly sitting up with a jerk.

"Offo Daddy. Aap ko aap ke boss nahi, hum bula rahe the." Said Zoro and Sidharth looked at them.

"Kya hua? Tum log itni subah subah mujhe disturb kyu kar rahe ho?" Asked Sidharth getting irritated.

"Daddy bohut badi problem hogayi hai." Said Zara.

"Kya problem?"

"Mummy kho gayi hai." Said Zoro.

Sidharth made a confused face and asked, "Mummy kho gayi hai matlab?"

"Matlab Mummy kahi mil nahi rahi. Humne pure ghar pe dhund liya." Explained Zara.

"What rubbish! Sanaaa! Sanaaa..."

Sidharth got up from bed and started looking for her. But Zoro and Zara were right, she was nowhere.

"Yeh itni subah subah kaha chali gayi?" Sidharth asked himself.

"Maine kaha tha na Mummy kho gayi hai." Said Zoro.

"Aisa kuch nahi hai. Zaroor ghar pe kuch khatam hogaya hoga aur woh pados wali Aunty se maang ne chali gayi. Aur udhar woh unse baatein karne lag gayi. Ruko main abhi tumhari Mummy ko call karta hoon."

Saying that Sidharth went to his room and took his phone to call Sana. Suddenly he saw her message.

Sidharth, tum logo ko aise pareshan karne ki liye sorry. Main aaj chhutti le rahi hoon isliye pura din ghar pe nahi rahungi. Saari planning itni zaldbaazi mein kiyi isliye tumhe baatane ka waqt nahi mila. Upar se tum so bhi rahe the. Tum fikar mat karo. Maine raat ke bartan dho ke rakhe hai. Tum bas bacchon ko sambhal lena. I hope zyada dikkat nahi hogi. Waise bhi main ghar pe karti hi kya hoon?.... Tum apna khayal rakhna aur bacchon ka bhi. Love you❤️

Sidharth became puzzled seeing the message. He immediately called her but the call was not connecting. He became worried.

"Yeh Sana bhi na! Chhoti chhoti baaton ko dil pe laga leti hai. Ab main kya karu? Sunday barbaad hogaya mera." Though Sidharth sadly.

"Kya hua Daddy?"

"Mummy kaha gayi hai?"

Asked Zoro and Zara.

"Chhutti pe." Replied Sidharth with a sigh.

Meanwhile...

Sana was sitting inside the metro and looking at her phone continuously.

"Nahi Sana. Aaj chahe kuch bhi ho jaaye, tu pura din apna phone airplane mode pe hi rakhegi taa ki koi tujhe call na kar sake. Bohut ghar sambhal liya tune. Ek din Sidharth ko bhi sambhal ne de. Taa ki usse paata chale ghar sambhalna kya hota hai." Said Sana in her mind.

Suddenly a lady entered the metro with her little daughter. She was not getting any seat and nobody was leaving theirs.

Seeing her, Sana immediately stood up and said to the lady, "Aap yaaha baith jaiye."

"Arrey koi baat nahi..." Said the lady.

"Aap kitni der bacchi ko le kar aise khadi rahengi? Please baith jaiye."

The lady smiled and sat on her seat while the girl sat on her lap.

"Aap ka shukriya. Beta Didi ko thank you bolo."

"Thank you Didi." Said the little girl looking at Sana making her smile.

"Waise jab main apne bacchon ke saath hoti hoon toh chhote bacche mujhe aunty bulate hai. Aur aaj Didi bula rahe hai. Kamal hai!" Thought Sana being happy.

.

.

.

.

On the other hand, Sidharth was reading the newspaper when Zoro and Zara said, "Daddy bhukh lagi hai. Breakfast bana do."

"Gauri Masi aati hi hongi. Unko bolna woh bana dengi." Said Sidharth looking at the newspaper.

"Gauri Masi nahi aa rahi. Woh chhutti pe hai." Said Zara.

Sidharth widened his eyes and asked, "Unki bhi chhutti chal rahi hai?"

"Kaal se. Aap ko paata nahi hai?" Asked Zoro.

"Bhul gaya tha. Accha chalo main bana deta hoon. Waise bhi kaunsa muskil kaam hai breakfast bana na?"

Saying that Sidharth went to the kitchen. Zoro and Zara went after him.

After sometime...

Sidharth was standing for a long time in the kitchen and thinking what to do.

"Aap bana loge na?" Asked Zoro as he had no trust on him.

Sidharth showed fake confidence and said, "Haan haan. Bohut easy hai. Aisa khana banaunga na ki ungliya chat te reh jaoge. Tumhari Mummy ke jaisa boring breakfast nahi banaunga main. Dekhte jao bas."

Saying that, Sidharth took a frying pan and kept it on the gas. He then put some oil on it. Then he took an egg and crack it on the pan.

"Ab dekhna do minute mein tumhara breakfast ready ho jayega." Said Sidharth with attitude.

Zoro suddenly noticed something and said, "Daddy uske liye pehle gas on karna padega."

Sidharth noticed that he didn't on the gas and immediately turned it on.

"Koi baat nahi. First time hai na? Galti ho jaati hai." Said Sidharth smiling nervously to which Zoro and Zara nodded their heads in disbelief.

.

.

.

.

On the other hand, Sana was eating Pani Puri standing at a roadside stall.

"Bhaiya aur teekha banao." Said Sana and the stall owner nodded.

She was enjoying eating the Pani Puri while thinking, "Kitne dino baad aise akele Pani Puri enjoy kar rahi hoon, woh bhi teekhe teekhe. School ke dino ki yaad aa gayi. Shaadi ke baad Sidharth toh teekha khaane hi nahi deta. Aaj maza hi aa gaya. Paata nahi woh log ghar pe kya breakfast kar rahe honge."

.

.

.

.

Here Sidharth made the breakfast finally. All of them were now having burnt toast with half-cooked poached egg.

Zoro and Zara were looking at each other sadly. Eating the food was the most difficult job they had ever done.

Sidharth noticed it and said, "Kya hua? Itna bhi bura nahi bana hai, thik hai? Mummy ne tasty khana khila ke bigaad diya hai. Jo mila hai khao."

Zoro and Zara once again nodded in disbelief.

.

.

.

.

Meanwhile, Sana was roaming the Mumbai City. Almost every places were seen by her but she was again visiting them. Because roaming alone in the city was something different and she was really enjoying this.

She visited different places and took a lot of selfies. She was taking selfie standing on a beach when a foreigner guy came near her.

"Hey beautiful! Can you click a picture of mine?" Asked the guy handing her his camera.

"Sure." Replied Sana and clicked his few pictures.

He then saw the pictures and said, "These are great! Are you a professional photographer?"

Sana nodded in no.

"Hi! Myself Alex. I'm from UK. Actually I heard a lot about India so I came to visit this country and its cities. Can you suggest me some good places to visit here?" Said the guy coming close to her.

Sana understood that his intentions were not that good.

She gave a fake smile and then suddenly said pointing her finger towards somewhere, "See what is there."

The guy looked there and Sana immediately started leaving.

"Hey! Why are you going? We can have coffee together. At least give me your number."

The guy kept calling but Sana continued walking while laughing silently thinking how she fooled him.

.

.

.

.

It was 11.00 am. Sidharth sat on the sofa. It was the time of his cricket match. He was about to take the remote when Zara suddenly came and gave Disney channel.

Zindagi sawar doon, ek nayi bahar doon

Duniya hi badal na main toh pyaara sa chamatkar hoon...

Zara was vibing with the song while Sidharth frowned looking at her.

"Yeh kya tha? Main TV dekhne wala tha na? Remote do wapas." Said Sidharth.

"Baad mein dekh lena. Abhi mera Doraemon dekhne ka time hai." Said Zara looking at the TV.

Before Sidharth could say anything, Zoro snatched the remote from Zara and gave Hungama channel.

Jab dekho tab shaitaani, karta hai yeh manmaani

Phir bhi Mummy Papa ka hai dulara...

"Zoro remote de. Main Doraemon dekh rahi thi." Said Zara angrily.

"Toh? Mujhe Shinchan dekhna hai. Tu bhi dekh na." Said Zoro.

"Nahi main Doraemon dekhungi."

"Par main Shinchan dekhunga."

"Doraemon!"

"Shinchan!"

They started quarrelling over TV. Sidharth tried to stop them but they didn't stop.

Being fed up, Sidharth screamed, "SHUT UP!"

Zoro and Zara got scared.

"No more fights. 1 ghanta Zara Doraemon dekhegi. Aur uske baad 1 ghanta Zoro Shinchan dekhega. Decided." Said Sidharth sternly.

Zoro and Zara nodded like obedient kids and Zoro gave the remote to Zara. They both started watching TV while Sidharth made a crying face.

"Bacche toh nahi badmaasho ki fauj paida kiyi hai maine. Sana kaha ho yaar? Zaldi wapas aa jaao please." He said in his mind.

.

.

.

.

Sana was sitting at a restaurant and checking the menu card.

"Mam, can I have your order please?" Asked the waiter.

"Haaye mujhe toh kuch samajh nahi aa raha. Bacchon tum hi baatao kya loge...."

Sana suddenly stopped noticing that none was sitting in front of her. She smiled a little and then said to the waiter, "Main course mein se jo accha aur sabse sasta hai woh hi le aaiye."

The waiter nodded and left from there.

"Bacche aur Sidharth bhi saath mein hote toh kitna maza aata. Ab khud ke liye kya hi order karu?" She thought sadly.

.

.

.

.

Sidharth and the children were having having boiled rice with mashed potato in lunch. It was the only thing he could made that too searching on the YouTube.

"Iss se accha toh Mummy ki brocollis hi hai." Said Zoro in a low voice, with a sad pout.

"Kisi ne kuch kaha?" Asked Sidharth raising his eyebrows to which they both nodded in no.

"Abhi kha lo. Raat ko bahar ka kuch order kar lenge." Said Sidharth while eating.

Zoro and Zara felt relieved hearing that.

.

.

.

.

Sana entered a big shopping mall. She was looking for some good clothes when her eyes fell on the children's section.

"Bacchon ke kapdo pe sell lagi hai. Ek kaam karti hoon, pehle inke liye hi kuch kharid leti hoon."

Thinking that she went to the children's section and bought clothes for them.

Then she went to the men's section while thinking, "Sidharth ke business trip ke liye kuch acche kapde kharid leti hoon. Waise bhi ek hi suit baar baar pehen na padhta hai usse."

Like this she only did shopping for Sidharth and her children and forgot to buy something for herself.

.

.

.

.

"Kya? Bar pe? Umm... Nahi yaar. Aaj nahi ho payega. Bacche ghar pe hai.... Sana? Haan woh uski thodi tabiyat kharab hai...  Thik hai. Tum log enjoy karo.... Hmm..."

Sidharth cut the call sadly.

"Kitne dino baad dosto ne bar pe jaane ka plan banaya tha. Meri toh kismat hi futi hai." He thought.

"Daddy"

"Daddy"

Zoro and Zara called him.

"Ab kya hogaya?" Asked Sidharth going to them.

"Humein park jaana hai." They said together.

"Park?"

"Haan. Mummy roz Sunday ko humein park pe le jaati hai." Said Zoro.

"Aap Sunday ko iss waqt yaa toh dosto ke saath bahar rehte ho yaa phir ghar pe so rahe hote ho. Isliye aap ko nahi paata." Said Zara.

Sidharth somewhere felt bad. He always remained so busy in his own life that he didn't know about this minimum thing.

"Koi baat nahi. Roz Mummy le jaati hai. Aaj main le jaaunga. Zaldi se ready ho jaao." Said Sidharth making them happy.

They went to the park. Reaching there, Zoro and Zara became busy playing while Sidharth kept sitting on a bench and watching them with a smile on his face.

"Bacche khelte hue kitne pyaare lagte hai. Aaj se kabhi kabhi main bhi inhe park le aaya karunga. Accha lagta hai inko masti karte dekhna." Thought Sidharth.

Suddenly a lady came and sat beside him.

"Aaj Mrs. Shukla nahi aayi?" Asked the lady breaking Sidharth's thoughts.

"Nahi woh... Uski tabiyat thik nahi hai. Bacche zidd kar rahe the isliye main hi unhe le aaya."

"Accha.... Tabiyat kharab toh hona hi tha. Aaj kaal itna stress jo leti hai. Ghar ke kaamo ka stress, bacchon ki studies ka stress, ghar chalane ka stress. Saas lene ka bhi waqt nahi hota unke paas. Unko kahiyega thoda apne upar bhi dhyan de aur stress kam le. Unki sehat ke liye thik nahi hai."

Sidharth couldn't understand what to say. It was true that she worked so much for them without saying anything. She had no time for herself. Just today he took her place and got tired so easily. While she was doing this since years. Maybe last night he should have not said those words to her. He was now feeling guilty.

"Waise ek baat toh hai. Mrs. Shukla lucky hai jo unhe aap jaise supportive husband mile. Warna humare husbands ko dekho, ek din kaam karne ko bolo toh seedha maana kar dete hai." Said the lady further.

Sidharth nodded his head negatively and said, "Aisa nahi hai. Lucky toh main hoon jo mujhe Sana jaisi wife mili hai."

.

.

.

.

Sana was standing on the Juhu beach and enjoying the view of the sunset. Suddenly she saw a couple with their children. She smiled seeing them.

It was true that she enjoyed a lot that day. But there was not a single moment when she didn't miss her family. Sana thought for a while and took out a movie ticket from her purse.

She thought that she would return after watching the movie and having dinner. But she didn't want to stay outside anymore. She wanted to go back home and spend time with her family.

Sana tore the movie ticket and left from there.

.

.

.

.

Sidharth returned from the park with his children.

"Daddy aaj park mein bohut maza aaya." Said Zara.

"Lekin ab hum kya karenge?" Asked Zoro.

Sidharth tried to think.

"Ab hum homework...."

As soon as Sidharth said the word, Zoro and Zara's face fell.

Sidharth laughed seeing them and said, "Ab hum drawing karenge."

Zoro and Zara immediately smiled and started jumping out of excitement.

"Aap humein water colour karna sikhaoge?" Asked Zara.

"Haan haan kyu nahi. Colours le ke aao. Sab sikha dunga." He replied.

Then three of them started drawing while having fun.

After sometime...

Sana opened the door with the key and entered home. But she widened her eyes seeing the scenario which was in front of her.

Sidharth, Zoro and Zara were painting sitting on the floor which became colourful. There were colours on their faces too and they were giving handprints on the white pages. It seemed like they played a mini Holi there.

Suddenly Sidharth, Zoro and Zara stopped seeing Sana who was standing with a serious face.

"Woh hum bas painting kar rahe the..."

Sidharth tried to explain but she didn't reply. Sidharth, Zoro and Zara gulped their saliva thinking that she would be angry on them for making this condition of the floor.

Sana tried to maintain her poker face but failed miserably seeing their cute faces and laughed. Seeing her laughing, Sidharth, Zoro and Zara smiled a little understanding that the danger had gone.

Sana went towards them and sat on her one knee.

"Yeh kya halat bana rakha hai? Cartoons lag rahe ho sab ke sab. Bacche toh bacche, Sidharth tum bhi?.... Anyway, sab apna haath muh dho ke aao. Main yeh sab saaf kar dungi." Said Sana.

Sidharth was looking down feeling little guilty for his own behaviour at last night. He didn't even get a chance to apologise. Before he could say something, Zoro and Zara hugged Sana tightly.

"Mummy we missed you." They said.

Sana smiled and said hugging them back, "Mummy missed you too."

Zoro and Zara broke the hug and saw that Sana got some paint on her dress because of the sudden hug.

"Sorry." Said Zoro biting his tongue.

"Aap ki dress pe bhi colours lag gaye." Said Zara.

Sana noticed it and said laughing, "Koi baat nahi. Tum dono jaa ke apne aap ko clean kar ke aao. Uske baad hum dinner karenge. I have brought Pizzas for us."

"Pizza? Yeeppyyyy!!!!"

Zoro and Zara happily left from there.

But Sidharth was still sitting there and looking at Sana.

"Tumhe alag se bolna padega kya? Go and clean yourself." Said Sana.

"Aur yeh sab?" Asked Sidharth looking at the floor.

"Main saaf kar dungi. Tum jaao."

Sidharth nodded and left from there.

At Night...

After having dinner, Sana made Zoro and Zara sleep. Now she was doing the dishes standing in the kitchen when Sidharth came started helping her without saying anything.

"Kya hogaya tumhe?" Asked Sana with surprise seeing him doing the dishes.

"Kuch bhi toh nahi." He replied.

Sana smiled and concentrated on her work. They both completed the work together.

"I'm sorry." Said Sidharth wiping his hands. Sana immediately looked at him hearing that.

"Kya?" She asked to confirm if she heard right or not.

"I'm sorry Sana." He again said, "Kaal maine jo bhi kaha, mujhe nahi kehna chahiye tha. Asal mein din bhar ghar se bahar rehta hoon isliye kabhi paata nahi chala ki ghar ke kaam karna kitna muskil hota hai. Tum bina kuch kahe har roz itna kuch jhelti ho. Aur main? Ekdin tum nahi thi toh sab kuch akele manage karte karte meri halat patli hogayi. Aur tab jaa ke paata chala tumhari jagah lena asan nahi hai. Main toh kabhi nahi le sakta."

Sana looked down smiling. Sidharth hold her hands and said, "Shaadi ke baad tum saara kuch itna easily handle karti aayi ho ki mujhe adat si hogayi thi. Lagne laga tha yeh sab toh tumhari responsibilities hai. Par nahi, yeh tumhari responsibilities nahi tumhari choice thi. Tum chahti toh tumhe koi na koi job mil hi jaata. But you chose to be a housewife for me, for our kids. Sana I realised my mistakes. Aaj ke baad inn sab kaamo main tumhari help karunga, I promise. Aur aage se tum jab chaho chhutti le sakti ho. I think hum sab ki tarah chhutti ka haq tumhe bhi hai."

Sana looked at him and said smiling, "Sidharth, tum samajh gaye, mere liye yeh hi badi baat hai. Ekdin ki chhutti leni thi maine le liyi aur kasam se bohut maza aaya mujhe. Bas tum sab ko thoda miss kar rahi thi. Aage se chhutti pe jaana hoga toh hum chaaro mil ke jaayenge. Kaisa rahega?"

Sidharth smiled hearing that. He hugged her tightly and said, "I love you Sana! You are the best wife in the world."

"And you are the best husband in the world. I love you too!" She replied.

They hugged each other more tightly.

The End...
