"You know Calvin introduced me to that chick Nina he brought over to my house yesterday. I didn't think anything of it. Until I had caught them being overly flirty with one another at school while we were all hanging out. People assume I'm way too stoned to notice anything. The fact is when I'm high, I observe everything very closely.

Being your friend, I don't want to see you get hurt by him or any guy!" Feeling as though a weight has been lifted off my chest.

"Well, that's nice to know. Just so you know I don't feel threatened by Nina, if anything, she intrigues me. You don't have to worry about me Tom, I don't intend to be giving anything up anytime soon! The two of us just have an extraordinarily strong magnetic pull towards each other. And when we mixed that with our strong teenage hormones, we kind of got carried away for a moment. He was very understanding and kind to me when I told him no. So, I don't want any of you giving him any shit, you hear me!" Tom rolls his eyes at me, then turns his head back to the road. Then proceeds to drive as the red streetlight turns green. We drove down the hill aways before turning the corner on to Tom's Street. Then he parked the car in his driveway.

"I would never give him any shit!" Ok, so we both know that's a bold face lie. Hannah looked at me and sighed, with a humming sound attached to it.

Once we were in the house, I was itching to call Nina. Tom had gym class last period at school today, so he was getting stuff together to take a shower. Normally it would make me feel uncomfortable, without anyone else here. It feels strange to say but this house is beginning to feel kind of like my second home. I'm guessing it's because I have been spending so much time here lately. Wanting complete privacy, I grabbed the cordless phone and walked outside on to the back deck. Sitting down on the lounge chair, I dial Nina's phone number. So, we can have a chat before Calvin gets here.

"Hello, who is this?" Nina answered upbeat.

"Hey Nina, it's Hannah, how's it going? I'm calling to see what you're doing tonight. I'm hanging out at Tom's house right now. I called to find out if you would like to hang out here with me and the guys tonight!

Tom mentioned you on the car ride here today. You know he's single and doesn't have a player bone in his body. I was thinking maybe you would like to get to know him better, what do you say?" Feeling just a tad bit guilty, for fibbing a smidge to Nina about what Tom said.

What I'm cooking up, it could help me figure out what to do concerning Calvin and Nina. The plan is to try and get her and Tom together. Then I can sit back and watch how Calvin reacts to them flirting with one another. If that doesn't work, I can use her being here to my advantage. I'll have front row seats to see how Calvin will conduct himself. He'll be at a disadvantage drinking and partying tonight. There's a good chance he could slip up and show his true intentions. Especially with both of us being in the same house he may get confused.

"I might enjoy having fun with a player now and then! Tom, huh! What's your deal Hannah? I know you were at Calvin's earlier! Do you still want to bust him? Or have you changed your mind and now trying to keep him away from me?" Nina said bluntly. I guess we are going to just cut to the chase then.

"Yeah, that doesn't shock me! And so, what if I was at Calvin's earlier, that's none of your beeswax! Are you trying to hint at the fact that you would like to play with my boyfriend? Obviously, Nina we both don't trust each other!

You're going to think I sound crazy, but something is telling me we could be friends. Maybe we can try to get to know each other better. Come hang out with me tonight and let's see if I am right! What do you think?" Putting it all on the line holding nothing back from her. Nina made a hmmm sound as if she was thinking over my offer.

"I agree about the friend part, I'm not so sure about the Tom and Calvin part. Call me insane but I'll come and party with you tonight! I'll see you in about an hour. Don't forget Hannah, it was your brilliant idea to invite me!" Nina giggled as if she had something up her sleeve. Acting like some sort of super villain, before she hung up on me.

What have I done? Was Nina implying that she's coming for Calvin tonight right under my nose? As the saying goes, the best defense is playing a good offense! The biggest mission in this game is to keep possession of the ball.

Sitting at Tom's kitchen table drinking an Arizona Iced Tea. I had time to design my subtle plan to get Nina and Tom to fall for each other. Hoping Tom can help her forget about Calvin. Oh snap, I'm kidding myself, aren't I? Why must I lie to myself, who would pick Tom over Calvin? Certainly not I, as I like them tall boys that live out of state!

Hey, who knows, maybe Nina would. I'm guessing she is a little over five feet tall. Who knows she may like her men average height. It would be in her best interest to date Tom! He has the potential to be in a long-term relationship, considering he lives in town. Yeah, that's the selling point and he would never cheat on her either. After all, Tom's not charismatic and could not flirt well if his life depended on it.

The house is so quiet, I could hear Tom shut off the water when he was done taking his shower. Coming from outside I hear skateboards rolling down the street. I'm guessing by how loud it sounds, there must be at least two, maybe three people skateboarding. I know for certain these people are coming here to hang out. Considering Tom's backyard is set up like a small skate park with ramps and all.

Tom must have heard them too as he runs into the kitchen wrapped in only his bath towel to answer the door. He must have forgotten that I was here visiting, waiting for Calvin to arrive.

"Sorry I was just in the shower, what's up?" Tom, holding his towel with one hand, shouted through the door window. Unlocking the door with his free hand, he opened it to reveal the skater boys standing outside.

"Wassup Tom, I brought River over to hang out tonight. They cancelled Football practice today and gave him a long weekend! Filmore's outside smoking a butt, he was already halfway down the street as we were turning the street corner." Jay explained already looking quite burnt out, his eyes were blood shot.

"That's sweet man, you want to get baked? Come on in guys, oh shit, I got to get dressed first." Glad my mom isn't coming home anytime soon. I hope none of my neighbors see me out here in my bath towel. Calvin doesn't look too impressed with me as I motioned him to come on in.

Jay and River, walk into the kitchen. What was Tom thinking standing outside the doorway half naked. I guess Calvin was wondering the same thing. Jay, River and I hear Calvin raising his voice at Tom.

"What the F*ck is wrong with you Tom! My girlfriend is in your house and your walking around in a f*ucking towel!" F*ck this shit! Flicking my half-lit butt to the pavement and putting it out with my foot.

Still pissed off at Tom for his utter lack of respect to our friendship. Walking around half naked in front of Hannah, I'm sure she felt uncomfortable the whole time. Running up the stairs I follow Tom into the kitchen. Where I spot Hannah laughing it up with the guys at the kitchen table.

"You worried Calvin, because you should know better! Oh, by the way I invited your friend Nina over to party with us tonight. I hope you don't mind! You don't mind, do you?" Smugly warning Calvin about Nina's arrival soon. I'm being nice by giving him a decent head start to figure out his own plan of action before she gets here.

"You did what! I told you that girl has a thing for me, and I tried to shake her off nicely today. Why would you do such a stupid thing?" I'm sure my face is turning red from how irritated I am feeling with Hannah right now. Keep cool Calvin, you know Hannah, she likes to make new friends. Yeah, but Hannah blew the f@ck up on me today and she feels threatened by Nina.

"Is that the chick you were hanging out with at school today, Calvin?" Intrigued I figured I'd ask. She's cute, I'm kind of stoked to get to know her tonight. Calvin is freaking out and the look that has come across Hannah's face tells me something is not adding up here.

"Yeah, Jay that was Nina. She was my project partner this week for history class. Still Hannah had no right to invite her without asking me how I felt about it!" Still fuming at Hannah. Not wanting to look at her anymore, I turned around to grab a drink out of the fridge. Then out of spite I tilted down the bill of my baseball hat to cover my eyes from her. Purposely leaning up against the countertop I ignore her and chill for a minute.

"Sweeet, maybe she will want to hook up with me tonight! Don't worry she will forget all about you Calvin, I'll take her off your hands!" Carefully watching Hannah's reaction, I noticed she had now become upset with me as well now.

"Oh, how nice of you!" Jay knew by my tone and the arched brows on my face, he has pissed me off.

"What did I do?" really what did I do, that look on Hannah's face let me know it was something I shouldn't have said. Boy this Nina chick got everyone riled up. This will be an interesting evening to say the least.

"You know, think about it we talked about it in the car today, Jay!" Reminding Jay discreetly as not to let the cat out of the bag. when I wasn't even sure he was going to ask Janet out.

"I told you I'm not sure about all that, chill out Hannah! Come find me when you are all ready to just chill. I'll be upstairs packing a bong, remember good vibes only in Tom's room." Now Hannah was starting to piss me off, two for two, way to go Hannah! I told her I wasn't sure about Janet yet, there is more to it, especially because we are good friends. I'm not sure I want to potentially ruin the great friendship we have now, if we were to break up. This shit with Janet feels too heavy to deal with right now. Heading upstairs to Tom's room to pack a bong and chill out.

"River, would you like to argue with my girlfriend before we join Jay and Tom?" Knowing Tom's rules about good vibes only in his room, I know if I want to party here tonight, I can't blow my top. So, I make a joke to change the energy of the room.

Hannah stood up from the chair and made her way over to me. Standing in front of me she hit the rim of my hat upward and knocked it off my head. She appears to be annoyed with me because I was refusing to look at her.

"Keep it up and I won't be your girlfriend anymore, keep that in the back of your mind Calvin!" Hannah made it noticeably clear that she was not pleased with me. Right now, I'm not sure if it has to do with Nina or the fact, I am being a dick to her.

Hannah after saying her piece headed straight up the stairs with River, to Tom's room. He is the only smart one here ignoring everyone and keeping his mouth shut.

Hannah loves to have the last word, and she knows I can't argue with her upstairs. Damn, that girl has totally screwed me tonight, and not in the way I hoped either! Jay wants Nina and who knows, Tom might start hitting on her too. And there is nothing I can do about it without Hannah getting even more suspicious.

Not to mention Nina has made it clear that she's not happy about Hannah being with me! I am so F@cked!

In the next episode come find out what Nina walks into and how the night starts out. What will Calvin do and how will Hannah react to it all?

May you have great thoughts with love & compassion for all, as you speak your truth into expression! Have a self-loving, self-full evening & always remember to be good to you!
