It has been six months since Selina came back form “her holidays” and almost a month since my burnout. Dad shared with me what happened during my "Sleeping beauty time" (his words not mine) and that made me realize that I can't give up. Even if she says she doesn't want me, she can't fight our bond. She is just scared that I will hurt her again and that’s understandable. So I just have to keep trying until she gives in. Still... We are still in the same situation, which means me coming to the castle every time she is there and her avoiding me as much as she can. This is so frustrating! How can I fix the things if she is not letting me in? I don’t what to do anymore but giving up is out of option even more now. She is mine!

"Damn right, she is our!" My wolf agrees.

"I know but we need to change our strategy. Do you have any idea?" I asked him.

"Maybe it’s time to be more persistent... To be more present in her life. She needs to understand that we are here to stay. So it’s time for her to be used to us."

"Not a bad idea..." I tell him.

"But before we have to meet Fynn. And if you don’t move your ass we are going to be late!" My wolf comments.

Fynn is going better. It’s taking time but I can see him becoming his old self slowly but surely. My parents are helping him a lot and Lila and I are trying to be with him as much as we can. But since Serena’s death, he refused to use magic. I think it’s also a way for him to keep punishing himself for what they did. He lost all his friends the past five years as he was only focused on Serena and didn’t have time for anything else. This is why I’m forcing him to socialize and to make new friends and to patch things with his older friends.

The word Mate is forbidden in front of him as he is not ready to love someone and to trust someone with his heart. Hopefully, the fact that Lila found her mate three weeks ago will maybe help him. Ethan is a werecat, I mean a Leopard shifter and they met while his football team came to play against Lila’s university team. He’s a nice guy and I can see them falling deeply in love already. That gave me hope that I will have that with Selina too. So maybe they could give hope to Fynn too. Speaking about him, I need to go, I organized a meeting with a few of his old high school’s friends. Hopefully, this will help him to open up again to other people than us, his family.

The meeting with Fynn’s friends went well. He even smiled and made jokes. We all had a great time and Fynn exchanges his number with them. Which is positive.

“Thank you! It was nice to see them after so long. I needed that.” He tells me.

“Then I’m happy!” I reply smiling.

“Can I ask you something?” He says after a moment of silence.

“Sure.”

" What are you going to do with Selina? What will you do if you find your other mate?” He adds.

I sigh: ” I have no idea. Every time I try to speak to her she’s avoiding me. As for my other mate, I hope to not meet her. Ever. Selina is the right one for me but it will be difficult to break the heart of my other mate.”

“So you’re not giving up Selina?”

“Never!”

“Then you need to change your approach of the problem.”

“I know! My wolf thinks I should following her everywhere.”

“Like a stalker?”

“No!”

“How you say it, it’s how it seems.”

“Do you have a better idea?”

“Nope, sorry. Serena was obsessed with Selina and even if she learned how to act like a credible Selina, she never dug deeper. She thought she knew everything about her but actually not really. I’m so sorry for helping her to destroy your chances with Selina. I wish I can help you in some way.” He tells me.

“It’s not your fault. If I had been the mate I should have been since the beginning you wouldn’t have been able to use me against her.”

“Still all of this is not helping you.”

“It’s okay even if I spend my life to find my way back in her heart, I will succeed one way or another!” I say sure of myself. I will not make the same mistake again. I will win her back at any cost.

“Good luck bro, I really hope you will succeed.” He replies.

“Hopefully soon. The last six months were hard.” I groan.

I’ve contacted Tom to know where Selina is, as she is not at the castle. They are on a mission with Team L, in a university. They are investigating four students who have disappeared while camping in the wood around the campus. And while they are investigating, Selina is partying a lot. And I can see she is taking a good time. Too much, way too much!

"Agree! Time to make our presence known!" My wolf says annoyed.

"Indeed it’s time!" I reply as we see her sandwiched between two twins.

They are wolves. Don’t they wait for their mates? Well, apparently not as they start to kiss her! Damn that too much for me. I walk toward them and push one of those stupid wolves.

“Hey man, watch where you’re going!” He dares complained.

“Dude what’s wrong with you. Don’t you see we are busy here!” The other twin adds.

Stupid assholes!

“Finally, some interesting action’s happening!” Some chick whispers in my back. It’s the witch, Lana.

“What are you doing him?” Selina asks me annoyed.

“Do you know that dude?” One of the twins asks her.

“Of course she knows me as I’m her mate!” I reply before she can answer.

“What! You found your mate and you’re still whoring!” One of them says while the other one nods in agreement.

"That’s it! They are so dead!" My wolf comments and I can agree more.

“Who do you think you’re to speak about her like that!” I ask him, catching him by the throat with one hand. As the other one approaches me ready to defend his brother I punch him in the jaw.

“Relax dude, we didn’t know she had a mate. We don’t mess with mates.” The one I punched says.

“Leave before I kill you!” I say releasing his brother. They run without asking their rest. They felt the Alpha in me.

"Why did you let them go!?" My wolf asks pissed against me.

I’m shutting him out as I already have to face an angry Selina. Once at the time.

“Why are you here? Didn’t you see I was having a good time!” She asks me furious.

“I told you to not enjoy yourself too much sunshine. It’s time for you to remember you have a mate!” I reply, angry too.

“So you can decide whenever you want to be my mate or not and not me! How is it fair.”

“Wake up, princess, nothing is fair in life. You’re mine and for now, where you go I go! I’m trying to win your forgiveness for 6 months! Now it’s time for you to accept that I’m here to take what’s rightful mine!”

“Fuck you asshole.” She says before running out of the party.

Before I can follow her, Tom stops me: “Let her calm down on her own. She will come back after her run.”

“Trust me.” He adds when he sees I’m not convinced.

“Fine.” I reply.

He slaps my back a bit strongly:” Sorry, I’m still adjusting about my new force. I just want to congrat you, Well done! It’s nice to see you claiming what’s rightful your!”
