Chapter 24: Savory Sweet 🌶️🌶️🌶️

Alpha of the Millennium Book 2Words: 9000

JED

I stumbled into the hotel room with one of the girls on each of my arms—Corinna and Kaleena.

With their saccharine sweet accents and their slim, but curvaceous, bodies, these girls were sugar, spice, and everything nice.

They were exotic, probably from some faraway land. I was too drunk to care.

All I knew was that they ~wanted~ me.

And that was more than I could say for everyone else.

Corinna pulled her top off to reveal a set of small, perky tits. She climbed onto my lap, straddling me.

“Slow down, Corrina. Let’s play with him first,” Kaleena said, shaking her head. “Half the fun is in the chase.”

“You’re all about ~savoring~ the moment, Kaleena,” she said, rolling her eyes. “But I just want to get on with it. I’m already wet!”

Corrina took my hand and placed it against her damp pussy, making me hard as an uncut diamond.

“Fine,” Kaleena said, sounding annoyed. “Maybe just a ~taste~.”

Kaleena slipped out of her own clothes and walked over to me, completely naked. She shoved her tongue into my mouth and flicked it around rhythmically.

She tasted like fucking candy.

Corinna got up and pulled a little plastic baggy out of her purse. It was filled with a glittery purple powder.

She dumped it onto a glass surface and began cutting up lines.

Kaleena joined her and they both started snorting the substance.

“What’s that?” I asked, a little uncomfortable.

They brought the mirror over to me and shoved it under my nose.

“Try it, sugar,” Corinna said sweetly, like she was handing me homemade cookies and not illicit drugs.

“It’ll make everything so much more satisfying,” Kaleena said, rubbing her hands all over her body. She was already feeling the high.

I was drunk as fuck, and they were extremely convincing. My inhibitions were all but gone.

~Just a little couldn’t hurt.~

I leaned over and snorted a line of the purple powder. It hit me almost immediately.

The girls started dancing around me in a circle, and the room began to spin. My head was dancing along with them.

Every color was enhanced.

Every feeling.

Every movement.

It felt absolutely incredible.

~What is this shit?~

And was I just hallucinating, or did tiny butterfly wings sprout from these girls’ backs?

Their nipples looked like fresh flowers.

Each freckle on their bodies glowed like a speck of glitter.

They smelled like a dewy forest after a rainfall.

I could only imagine how good their pussies would taste. I put my head between Corinna’s legs and started eating her out. She wasn’t lying about being wet. I’d never tasted someone so sweet and tart.

She moaned as I massaged her clit with my tongue.

Kaleena crawled underneath me and started sucking my cock. Her tongue felt like soft velvet, and I growled with gratification.

I shoved it deeper into her mouth, and she took every inch gladly. “That’s right, ~savor~ it,” I said.

Corinna gave me a mysterious smirk. “It’s so cute that you think you’re the one in control.”

I didn’t know what she meant, but I didn’t care as she pushed me down and climbed on top of my cock, riding me.

As she bounced up and down, squealing with pleasure, Kaleena sat on my face. She tasted even more flavorful than Corinna.

I switched back and forth between the two girls, fucking them one after the other. Neither could get enough. I was starting to get exhausted, but I couldn’t stop.

That drug just kept me going and going.

It felt like we’d been fucking all night.

And when I glanced at the clock on the wall, I saw that we had been.

For ~six~ hours.

How the hell was that even possible? I had stamina, but this was insane.

“He’s getting tired,” Kaleena said, giving Corinna a look.

“I think he needs more,” Corinna said, shoving more purple powder into my nose.

“No!” I shouted, trying to resist. But no matter how much I tried to struggle, I couldn’t stop them. I just let it happen.

“What is that drug?” I said, starting to feel fuzzy again.

“It’s pixie dust, of course,” Corinna said brightly.

“You’re…you’re pixies?” I asked, fading quickly.

“Obviously,” Kaleena said scoffing.

“I’m actually surprised he’s lasted this long. Maybe it’s this weird Haze,” Corinna said, amused. She was starting to become blurry. “That guy last night keeled over five hours in.”

“Ugh, what a mess,” Kaleena said with a disgusted tone. “Some men just can’t handle their pixie dust.”

“But this one can,” Corinna said with an unsettling smile as she blew a handful of dust into my face.

It was the last thing I remembered before I passed out.

REYNA

“Focus, Reyna!” Eve shouted at me as I sparred with her. “You’re missing so many openings! I’m taking it easy on you!”

“I am focusing!” I shouted back.

~I wasn’t.~

My head was somewhere else. Several places actually.

I was thinking about Derek, and what had happened with us the previous day.

I was thinking about Jed, and how he’d wanted to tell me something, but never showed up and never responded to my texts.

I definitely ~wasn’t~ thinking about Eve’s fist flying toward my face.

I barely dodged as it missed me by a millimeter. She kicked my feet out from under me, and I landed on my ass.

“How the hell is you beating me up supposed to prepare me for my ritual—if I decide to take it?” I asked sorely.

“You need to be ready both mentally and physically,” she said, looking down on me. “And you’re neither.”

She stretched out her hand and helped me to my feet. “What’s going on with you?”

“Like you care,” I said bitterly.

“I… I do,” she replied hesitantly. “Tell me.” I looked at her doubtfully. Eve had never shown an interest in anyone’s feelings before. Why would she suddenly start now?

“You want to talk? ~You?~” I asked, dumbfounded.

“Okay, I’m trying to be understanding here. Don’t insult me,” she said, annoyed.

We walked to the edge of the boxing ring and sat down, leaning against the rubber cords.

“It’s…it’s about a boy,” I said, still not believing that I was about to open up to Eve of all people.

“Jed?” she asked. ~I forgot this bitch was semi-psychic.~

“No!” I said quickly. It was a little bit about him, but mostly it was about…

“Derek,” I said, sighing. “We’re kind of a couple now. The other night I thought I was finally ready to have sex with him. And I…”

“You regret it?” Eve asked.

“No, I… I didn’t end up going through with it.”

Eve looked at me inquisitively. “Why not?”

“It just didn’t feel right. I don’t know if he’s the right one. I know it sounds stupid but…”

“No, Reyna it’s not stupid,” Eve said with surprising sympathy. “You should think about this decision the same way you think about your decision to embrace your vampire heritage. You should be ~absolutely~ sure that you’re ready, and that it feels right.”

I nodded, feeling better. “Yeah, exactly.”

“Sometimes it’s better to wait for your mate,” Eve said, looking like she was thinking of her own past. “Even if it takes hundreds of years.”

“Wait, ~what?~” I asked, my jaw dropping open.

Eve gave me a sly smirk. “Only kidding.”

~So now she has a sense of humor too? What the hell is happening. I’m going to blame it on the Haze imbalance.~

Maybe Snow was actually making Eve a better person. And speak of the little devil…

Snow came running into the gym, panting and wheezing.

Eve and I both jumped to our feet.

“Snow, what’s wrong?” Eve asked, running over to her daughter.

“Haze!” she said, waving her arms wildly.

Snow had located another Haze-induced creature.

And that could only mean more problems for us.

***

Snow led us to the seediest motel I’d ever seen in my life. ~Lumen Inn.~

It looked like a crack den and probably was. Every curtain and blind was pulled closed and the attendant at the desk immediately asked if we were narcs.

After Eve used a little ~persuasion~ on him, he gladly gave us the key to the room where Snow sensed something.

“Wait in the car,” Eve said to Snow before we opened the door.

She gave Eve an indignant look and stomped her foot.

“NOW,” Eve said. “You did good leading us here, but if you want to be a part of this group, you have to listen. Those are the rules.”

She was very calm and clear. Again, a side of Eve that I had never seen.

Snow nodded and returned to the car, locking the doors.

Eve looked at me as she placed the key in the door. “Get ready for anything.”

I nodded. “I am.” But there was no way I could’ve been ready for what was in that room.

Because as Eve jangled the lock and pushed through the door, a scene straight out of a horror movie greeted us.

I screamed at the top of my lungs.

The walls were splattered with blood.

Body parts were ~everywhere.~

Two girls with shredded butterfly wings on their backs had been ripped to pieces in a brutal bloodbath.

And lying naked in the middle of the grisly scene…

Was Jed.
