Today, I woke up with a huge smile on my face. Now onwards we aren't friends but more than that. I can't wait to reach school and meet him. Aaaah!
I quickly freshen myself and wear a black spaghetti strap top, blue jeans, red and black flannel shirt and finish the look with black converse before going to the kitchen for breakfast.
"Good morning mommy, How are you?" I asked her as soon as I saw her sitting on the couch on my way to the kitchen.
"I'm good sweetie, just bored of sitting here, doing nothing." Mom replied, earning a giggle from me and dad, who was preparing breakfast for us.
"Oh mommy, it's for your good, isn't it dad?" I asked him, and he replied a yes from where he was standing. I raise one of my eyebrows and chuckle before seating myself on the dining table and having my tasty pancakes. Yum!
After having my breakfast, I bid my parents goodbye and made my way to the school. As soon as I entered the school premises, I was bombarded with questions from none other than my girlfriends- Carrie and Julie.
"When did he propose?"
"How did you feel?"
"Was it romantic?"
"Why didn't you tell us before?"
"Okay, will you both stop?" I asked them.
"Didn't I tell you the whole story on what happened? Then why are you asking about it?" I asked, exhaling deeply.
"You must have, but Carrie didn't elaborate. She just told me vaguely." Julie said pouting at the end and I sighed.
"I'll tell you again later. Okay?" I asked her, and she nodded her head before dragging me to my locker. I reached my locker to find the boys already chatting away with each other. Furthermore, I searched for particular brown orbs but failed, which dampened my mood a little. I so wanted to meet him as soon as I reach school, but he isn't here. Ugh!
"What's gotten you so sad?" I heard a familiar voice and I turned around to be met by the one occupying my mind himself. He was smirking as if he was here the whole time watching me. I blushed, realising he saw me searching for him, causing him to chuckle. Damn! Was I so obvious?
"Oh yes, you were" He grinned.
"Did I say that out loud?" I asked with wide eyes.
"Yes, you did," he said with the same smug look while I blushed. Our little moment was broken by the bell ringing. Aiden sighed before saying, "I so wanted to keep you blushing, but now we have to depart. Let's meet during lunch."
I slapped his chest playfully before nodding and going to my first class. Today, Mr. Paul gave us an essay on 'Young Love'. The moment I heard the topic, my mind drifted to a particular chocolate brown orbs, brown curly-haired boy and I blushed. Carrie who sat beside me nudged her elbow to my side causing me to jump a little.
"What?" I whisper yelled.
"What made your cheeks turn red?" She asked wiggling her eyebrows and I shook my head trying to hide my cheeks as I felt the heat rushing to my cheeks and mumbled a 'nothing'. She didn't believe me but didn't ask me further to which I was thankful.

It was now our break and for a change, we were sitting on the bleachers at the corner of the basketball field having lunch. Aiden was sitting beside me; constantly trying to steal my fries, while Carrie, Blake, Jules, and Jake were talking about a party happening this week. Dan and Jeremy though were busy making out with their respective girlfriend.
"Do you want to go on a date today?" He whispered in my ear causing a shiver to run down my body momentarily forgetting what he said.
"What do you say?" He whispers again with a smirk gracing his lips after seeing the effect he has on me.
"I-I s-sure" I stutter, and he chuckles before whispering again,
"Get ready by seven, I'll be there to pick you up by then." I nod my head and concentrate on my fries to hide the blush. As I eat, Carrie calls me, and I look at her motioning her to speak.
"Are you going to the party this Friday?"
"Um...no, I'm not going to any party, you all go and enjoy," I told them. I know how it ended last time I went to a party; sitting outside the house waiting for my friends to finish up their partying.
"You went last time and nothing happened," Jules said, and I gave her the 'are you serious' look. She looked confused.
"Nothing happened? You do remember me telling you what happened, right?" I reminded her.
"Yeah, I remember. Some guy was hitting on her outside the house and I had to butt in," Aiden chimed in, and I nodded.
"But it was just once," Carrie whined.
"Guys, don't force me. I'm just thinking for myself, you all know what Lucas did to me and I don't want to be in such a situation again. He or someone like him will be present at the party, and once we are drunk, we never know when we split up." I told them, and they shut their mouth after I mentioned his name. Call me a coward, but I really don't want to be in such a situation again.
Aiden squeezed my hand and pulled me close to him. He knows how much I was affected.
"You can't stop yourself from enjoying like this. We'll be there with you all the time," Jules reasoned, and I shook my head. As much as I want to go to the party, I can't.
"Okay, stop forcing her. If she doesn't want to then let it be," Dan said and the girls sighed.
"Fine, let's have a girls' night at one of our houses then," Carrie suggested, and I immediately declined.
"Why would you ruin your plan for me? You should go and enjoy the party, also I have pending work to do," I told them, and they sighed again in defeat. The bell rang shortly, ending our discussion. I took my tray and kept it in the bin before going to my locker.
"Remember, today at seven," Aiden reminded me before kissing me on my cheek and going off to his class.

It's currently five o'clock, and I am rummaging through my closet for a decent dress. It's my first date and I want to look presentable. After throwing my clothes here and there, I found a cute two piece dress; a spaghetti strap baby pink crop top, a white skater skirt which reaches mid-thigh and a flower print shrug. I applied very light makeup and lip gloss because I hate wearing lipstick, I finished my look with a necklace and white wedges. I admire myself in the mirror and suddenly grow nervous, I remind myself to take deep breaths and have a pep talk with myself to ease my nervousness.
The bell rings at correct seven, and I make my way to the door. I open the door and stare at Aiden, he is looking rather good in dark blue jeans, black t-shirt and a blue and black checkered flannel shirt to complete the attire.
"What's going on here?" Comes my mom's voice from behind and I rush towards her to support her.
"Mommy, you shouldn't be walking around like this, doc told no walking and only rest for two weeks," I scold her, and she pouts a little. I'm telling you, she is still a kid by heart.
"Sweetie, I can't sit at one place all day," she whines a little, which makes Aiden chuckle.
"You could've called me, what if you lose your balance and fall?" I ask her worried, and she just waves it off. Huff!
"You worry a lot Kia," she says, and I sigh. Aiden who was silently watching the whole scene opens his mouth when we stop.
"How are you Susan?"
"I'm fine Aiden. Were you taking my daughter out somewhere?" My mom asks, and he scratches his neck and speaks,
"Um... I'm taking Kia out for a date" As soon as the word 'date' comes out of his mouth, mom squeals, losing her balance a little.
"Mommy, careful," I scold her, but she pays no attention to it instead, she holds my hand and drag me out of the door with Aiden.
"You should've told me earlier, now go and bring her back by eleven," Mom says thickening her voice to mimic seriousness, but we just end up laughing. After bidding a bye, we make our way to the date.

"Hey! Where are we heading to? Isn't all the restaurants the other side?" I ask, confused as to why we are still driving.
"Who told you, we are going to the restaurant for our date?" He asks with a smug look.
"Um... Don't people usually go to restaurants for dates?" I asked him and he chuckled.
"Well... we are no usual people hence, why we aren't there." He smirks, and I let out a chuckle. How did I end up with him, I still wonder.
"So... where are we going?" I tried to know, but he just smirked at me,
"Not going to work sweetheart" He dismissed my trial while I blush at the endearment he used. He probably must have seen me blush because his smirk widened, I quickly avert my gaze outside the window.
After sitting in the car for almost an hour, he stopped the car and stepped out, came to my side and opened the door for me. A gentleman... Isn't he? I looked around the place, it was covered with trees everywhere. Why did he bring me here? Is he planning on spending time with me in a jungle?  Is he planning to kill- well... let's not go there.
"Aiden, why are we here? I-I get y-you are no usual person but doesn't mean y-you should bring me here for our first date." I tell him, stuttering, it's so dark here.
"Calm down Kia, and you'll see why I brought you here, and it will be your best date, just trust me okay?" He asked and I nodded. His words did give me some assurance. I was still looking around when he suddenly grabbed my hand and dragged me into the forest.
"Before you start screaming, I'm not going to harm you so just trust me and follow me," He told me sensing my fear. We walked for a few minutes but suddenly, he stopped causing me to bump into his back. He stood behind me and covered my eyes and told me to move slowly.
"Aiden, I'll fall." I told him, fear clearly evident, but he just squeezed my shoulder.
"Why am I here? Do you think, I'll let you fall? If you ever fall, you will fall for me only," I could imagine him smirking.
"AIDEN, shut up!" I cried and hit his stomach with my elbow.
"Ow... it hurts," He whined, and I shrugged.
"You had that coming," After our little banter, we fell into a comfortable silence.
"Can I remove this blindfold now," I whined, my legs were hurting, walking on uneven ground with wedges.
"Okay, we're there. Are you ready?" He ask and I nod my head, eager to remove this blindfold. He counts till three and uncovers my eyes only for me to open it wide at the beautiful view. There was a blanket on the ground of a cliff with basket of food, and two glasses. In front of the cliff, there was a waterfall which looked amazing at night.
"Wow, it's so beautiful," I finally say.
"Yeah, it is," He said before taking my hand and sitting me on the blanket and covering my bare legs with another blanket. If I knew, we'll be coming to such a place, I would've worn my jeans. He sits beside me and open the basket, taking out a casserole and two plates, then filling the glasses with apple juice. He passed the glass to me while he placed pasta on the plate which by the way smelled heavenly.
"You made it?" I asked after eating some cause I couldn't believe he could cook something this delicious.
"Yes," He said and I looked at him shocked.
"Didn't know you were this good at cooking." I said and he smirked,
"You still have a lot to know about me baby," I sat there trying hard not to blush when he called me "baby".
"Whatever," I said mostly to hide the effect he has on me. He frowned at me but when I laughed at his frown, his frown turned into laughter.
We laughed, talked, ate and joked during our date, and I couldn't have it any other way. I'm glad he chose a place so serene and beautiful, no one to disturb us, only him and me. After eating and drinking, he kept aside the basket, lied down and patted the space beside him for me to lie down. I lied down and as soon as I looked towards the sky, I was awestruck to see billions of stars twinkling, it was officially my favorite view from now.
"Wow, the view is beautiful. I never thought I could star gaze," I told him, looking at him to find him staring at me causing me to blush.
"I know, and I'm glad to bring you here. Your smile was worth it," He said which only deepened my blush and caused some weird feeling in my stomach.
"You do know that our bet was only for three months and now it's more than three." I stated, and he turn his face towards me with his eyes open wide.
"Oh yeah, we had a bet right? How could I have forgotten that?" He thinks, and then again speaks, "Well... it's clear that I won the challenge so, do you believe me now?"
"Of course doofus! If you were a playboy, I would have never liked you, but see, right now I'm with you," I say smiling while he nods his head with a big grin.
"It's been too long after the challenge, and see where we are now. I never thought I'll be here with you on a date as I've never taken any girl out like this." He says, and I smile knowing I'm the first girl he ever chose to date.
We stared at each other, and he slowly started to inch his face closer to me, the feeling in my stomach intensified. He came more close and finally captured my lips into his, and this time the feeling in me exploded and I felt lightheaded. It being my first time, I tried to catch up to his pace and we kept kissing for what felt like hours, but was only for few minutes. We eventually broke our kiss to breathe, I was blushing hard now. I finally caught my breath and smiled wide, I looked at him to find him smiling wide, just like me. I still felt a tingling sensation which made me touch my lips.
"Wow," He breathed out and I chuckled.
"I like you" He said his face still very close to me.
"I like you too," I reply shyly and he chuckles.
It was 10:00p.m right now and I had to be home by eleven, so we stared at the stars for five minutes before getting up and taking me home.
His car stopped in front of my house and I opened the door and got out of it, and he did the same. He walked me to my doorstep and kissed my forehead.
"Good night baby, I'll see you tomorrow," He said and I replied back and went inside my house before placing a kiss on his cheeks. I reached my room and changed into my night ware, and lied on my bed with a broad smile.
