I was going to school after one week of enjoyment. I chose to wear a white sweater with a blue dungaree and white shoes.
I ate my breakfast and walked to school bidding mom a bye as dad was already out for his office.
As I reached school, I saw girls chatting in one corner and some boys playing with football while flirting with girls, their daily routine.
I made my way to the locker in search of my friends and there they were laughing their asses off on some joke.
"Hey!" I greeted, Carrie and Julie hugged me while the boys high fived.
"Kia, meet, my girlfriend, Riley" Daniel introduced. I looked at her and smiled shaking my hand.
"Kia, this is, my girlfriend, Milly" Jeremy introduced. It was my first time talking to the twins.
"Daniel, Jeremy, how will you know which girl is yours?" I voiced my thought and they laughed.
"Seriously though, I have the same doubt" Blake chimed in making them laugh louder than before. Is it so funny? I don't think so. I looked at all of their faces to see the same confused expression as mine except Dan and Jeremy. While the twins laughed nervously not understanding how to react. Weird
The bell rang shortly stopping their laughter. Both Dan and Jeremy wrapped their arm around their respective girlfriend's shoulders and made their way to their classes while we all stood their confused as ever.
"We'll never understand their humour so let's head to our classes" Julie said and we headed to our classes after agreeing to what she said.

I was now seated in the cafetaria with my friends. First half of my classes were boring as hell so I was happy to be here amidst my happiness aka friends.
We were talking randomly when Carrie spoke, "Kia, let's find you a boyfriend. What do you say?" I choked on my saliva on hearing this. I didn't know what to say as I had very less knowledge on this.
"Kia...you there?" Julie asked me waving her hand in front of my face.
"Um...yeah" I said composing myself.
"What do you think?" They asked again and everyone's eyes were on me. I looked at each one starting from Julie and ending on Aiden. He was looking at me intently, as if he was eager to know my answer. I quickly averted my eyes and he did the same. Weird!
"Well...I don't know, I just don't wanna rush with such things." I tell them and they nod. I told them this but I was myself confused to be honest. What I feel when I am with Aiden, is something very new to me and I don't know if that is because I like him or not. I won't say I like him yet, but with him, I feel safe.
Our lunch ended as a short bell rang and we made our way to our classes.
I was attending my last class for today. Mrs. Dakota was telling us the history of some great leader, I was least interested in knowing his name. She was halfway through her rant when an announcement was made.
"Good afternoon, Beverly Heights. This is for all the senior students of our school. The exams will begin for all of you from next week. The date-sheet will be forwarded to you on your email so, start preparing for your exams."
As soon as the announcement was over; we all groaned making Mrs. Dakota bang the desk for silence.
The class got over two minutes after the announcement. I quickly got out of that class and made my way to my locker. The hall was filled with seniors groaning and complaining about the exams.

I was walking home from school when I heard a honk. I turned to see the source and found Aiden on his motorcycle.
"What is it?" I asked him.
"Hello to you too" he said and motioned for me to sit behind him on his motorcycle. I shook my head as I've never really travelled on anything except car.
"Oh...I thought of helping you but guess you don't want my help" he shrugged and started the engine,
"You won't get to sit after this. Think wisely, you could reach home quick."
I pondered over it; I was tired and I just wanted to reach home and lay on my bed. If I walk, it'll take twenty minutes and if I ride on that thing, I'll reach home in ten minutes but It's a risk to ride on a motorcycle especially with him. Umm...I think, I'll take the risk.
"Okay...I'll get on that thing" I said pointing at his motorcycle.
"Hey! Don't call her 'that thing'. It's my baby" Aiden said frowning a little and I laughed at him.
"How do you know that your baby is a girl?" I asked emphasizing on 'baby'.
"I just know. Now stop wasting my time and get on" he said and I did as he said.
I didn't know what to do now that I'm seated. So, I carefully kept both my hands on his shoulder for grip. But he removed my hand from there and wrapped it around his waist. I blushed hard as I felt his abs from his t-shirt. Gosh...so toned!
"It is much safer than holding onto my shoulder. I'll be riding pretty fast so hold tightly...okay?" He asked in a soft tone and I nodded because I know he could see me from the mirror.
"Are you ready?" He asked, I again nodded and he sprint off. My hold on him tightened automatically as I jerked forward. After getting a hang of it, I loosened my grip a little and felt the air whipping my hair. I somehow liked it and I spread my hand in the air to feel it.
"Enjoying the ride?" Aiden asked and I smiled and nodded my head, squealing a yes making him chuckle.
The enjoyment was short lived as he parked his baby in front of my house. I got out and waved him a good bye before making my way to my home sweet home.
"Bye" Aiden yelled and sprint off with his motorcycle.

I was studying in my room for the upcoming exam when mom called me down.
"Yes mommy" I said as I reached her. She was in the kitchen preparing a new dish, looking at the youtube video for instructions.
"Sweety, try this and tell me how is it?" She asked pointing towards the bowl where she made one for trial. I tasted it, it was very delicious. .
"Mmm...it's yummy, what is it exactly?" I asked her curiously.
"Ooh...you can name it anything sweety. I was gonna try what the youtube video showed but was less of ingredients so, I just did an experiment." Mom giggled a little and I joined in.
"Mommy, it's really delicious. Do you wanna name it?" I asked and mom shook her head.
"I won't even remember the recipe after today so no need of naming" mom told me and I nodded.
"Okay then, I'll call it 'mommy's first experiment'. How is it?" I asked grinning and mom laughed.
"Why are you both laughing?" Came a voice from behind. I turned around and was met with dad.
"Dad, mommy did an experiment. She was trying to make a new dish with the help of youtube video but was shot of ingredient so she did her own experiment and made a new dish named 'mommy's first experiment' and its yummy" I concluded. Dad laughed slightly and nodded his head and further walked into the kitchen. He held his hand out to taste the dish when mom hit his hand.
"Don't you dare touch it with your dirty hands Michael, go and freshen up first" mom said in mock anger and dad rose his hand in surrender.
"Okay okay, I'm going" he said and went to his room while me and mom laughed.
This is why I loved my family. My mom and dad has a way of changing the atmosphere with there joy and love. I am blessed to have such lovely parents.
