My eyes snapped open wide.
"EXCUSE ME?!"
His smile grew, clearly enjoying my reaction.
"Fair trade, don't you think?" he said, tapping his jaw. "Ek idhar-" he pointed to the left side, then tapped the right. "Aur ek idhar."
Chapter 61
"Yeah?" he answered, his voice distracted.
Just then, the door unlocked, and someone entered.
Not bothering to look, he sighed.
"Mishti doi, please take out my clothes from the closet."
But when he turned around-he froze.
Chapter 62
THIRD PUNCH.
This time, Avyansh tasted blood.
The metallic tang spread across his tongue, and his head snapped to the side. His vision blurred for a second, his body still sluggish from the drugs, making it harder to react.
Chapter 63
"This is crazy. This is actual madness," she muttered under her breath, gripping Ruhaan's arm so tightly that he winced.
"Why are we doing this? Who made this plan? I swear I will throw them off this cliff myself-"
Ruhaan raised an amused brow. "You made this plan."
Chapter 64
But before I could take a step, his hand caught my wrist, firm but careful.
âAvantika, waitââ
I wrenched my hand away, my heart pounding. âDonât touch me.â
His jaw clenched, his eyes flashing with something unreadable.
Chapter 65
Avantika blinked rapidly, fighting the burning sensation in her eyes. âI love him,â she said, her voice breaking slightly. âHe said he loves me too.â
She took a shaky breath, her hands clutching at her lap as if grounding herself. âAgar wo mujhse pyaar karte, toh aisa kyun karte?â Her voice cracked, frustration and hurt mixing together.
